"I guess so", says Amerath, who has returned a smile at Valia. He then sits down on the floor and T7. "Never seen a storm this bad that hasn't lasted for at least a day."
"Well, looks like we're stuck together." Valia smiled back and gestured toward her ship. "If you're looking for food and an actual bed, you can hang out on the Sun Runner till the storm blows over."
"Thanks", says Amerath, "But to be honest, I'm gonna get heading off in an hour. The storm will still be dangerous but I'll do fine. I've encountered about three on the journey here."
Amerath is awaiting a look of surprise on the others' faces. Amerath is pretty reckless. He is, however, used to travelling long distances and through dangerous sandstorms. Due to his past experiences on sandstorms, he has found out enough to estimate weather and the dangers of it. It wouldn't be too bad in an hour or two. It'd be lethal to someone new to sandstorms but not to him.
"Oh no, its barely anything!" he says, looking at Valia likes hes saying "Please don't" Zarl seriously did NOT want to be stuck here with this kid, or Amerath
"Barely anything?" chuckles Amerath. "Nah, it's definitely something. I'm just used to that kind of stuff. Besides." Says Amerath, his smile fading away and he looks and sounds a lot more serious. "What do you have against me? I know you want me to go."
"What I have against you? I totally don't want you to leave! How could you come up with that?" he says, but he realizes it wouldn't help. "Yeah, I'd love you to leave. Maybe because of... our first meeting?"
"Oh yeah..." mumbles Amerath. "Listen, mate. I mean no harm. I don't want no rivalry with you." He hold out his hand, expecting for Zarl to shake it. "Friends?"
Amerath tried to say all that reasonably. He truly isn't in the mood for a fight.
"As long as you stay cool, I'll stay cool. Which will be pretty hard on Tatooine." He shakes his hand and hopes he gets the joke. Zarl also didn't really want to fight someone younger than himself.
"D'awww, it's nice to see you boys finally getting along!" Valia snickered to herself all the way back to her ship, her pet tooka in tow. Deciding that she didn't need to chaperone the two boys any longer, she opted on grabbing a ration bar from her ship.
Amerath smiles at Zarl's joke. Amerath doesn't laugh though but he shows he does like the joke. In a similar way, he smiles and holds laughter back at Valia's remark. "Even though me and you are cool", he says to Zarl, "I still am going in a bit. I've been in worse sandstorms before. It won't be too hard to survive."
