Sitting down

(OOC: This is my first Roleplay, so please don't think I'm experienced :P)

Location: Mos Eisley Cantina, Tatooine

As he walks into the Cantina he immediately hears everything change. The outside sounded like a market and a friendly place, now Zarl took one step inside and hears laughter, yelling, music and breaking glass. He looks around and sees species hes never seen, but he doesn't mind about that. Who would know all the species in the galaxy? Nobody, of course. I take a step and hear a blaster, with a short silence after it. The people look and so did Zarl. A muscled person stood up saying "Look away our you'll be next!". Only then he saw the body next to it. The muscled guy walked out of the bar, leaving a moveless body behind.

Zarl decides to go on with his plan and searches the best place around. He sees a table in a corner, perfect for keeping a good eye on the cantina, but not being suspicious. To make it less suspicious, he orders a drink. The bartender comes and fills his glass, walking away like a normal day. Zarl looks around and sees what he was hoping for. A couple booths away is a table with 2 men sitting. A man and a... person that looks like a bounty hunter. From his natural instinct he is sure he will not get close to him. The man slips him a small sack and walks away. The bounty hunter does the same thing, only the opposite way. "I have to get that sack" Zarl thinks. And he hopes his plan will follow that direction.

 

[The Captain]

Random acts of murder, another fact of life in the Outer Rim. Valia kept her head down an her eyes forward as the shooter shambled out of the bar. The body in question was dragged out another direction by someone at the bar, most likely to strip him of valuables and hang him up for Womp Rat bait. The circle of life. Taking another drink of the repulsive grog the barman insisted was whiskey, and taking a slow puff of her cigarra, Valia settled back into her chair and began scoping out the rest of the bar scene. Mostly drunks, junkies, and thugs, but three in particular stood out. A man and a mercenary sitting together across the bar, and a young man staring at them like a starving anooba at a plate of nuna legs. 'Alright, lets see where this goes.' She thought.

Zarl focused on the Bounty Hunter and searches for a tactic which he would end up not using, as all the other times. He didn't care about anything else in the bar. As the Bounty Hunter leaves Zarl loses vision. He moves to another position across the bar. "I can pickpocket him, murder him and loot him, steal it when he leaves it, or not do it" he thinks, but he could forget about the murder and giving up. The bounty hunter stumbles to a table with 3 men, where they all look at the sack, after that the Bounty Hunter grabs it again and talks with the men.

 

[The Captain]

Well, this kid was definitely trying to rob these guys. Whatever was in that little bag he wanted badly. Valia kept her eyes on him as he maneuvered around the bar to another location.

As Zarl looks at the men he knew this wouldn't end well, but decided to do it anyway. He walked up to the men and started to talk: "Hey, hows it going?". While the men were distracted and thinking if they should talk Zarl put his arm on the table and grabbed the bag as sneaky as possible. THe men decide to keep their mouth shut, so Zarl walks away. "I can't believe that worked"

 

[The Captain]

Valia was genuinely surprised when the young thief's plan actually worked. That is, until the four men noticed their bag was no missing. It didn't take a detective to figure out who stole their sack, and they began making their way after the boy. Deciding to step in, she eased the front zipper on her flight suit down a bit and splashed the remains of her drink on herself. Going into her best drunken walk, she staggered over to the men and intercepted them.

"H-hey, hic, handsomes. How yah d-doin'?"

While Zarl puts the bag in his pocket he hears the men standing up. He walks a bit faster and begins to feel a bit nervous. The men suddenly stop walking when they heard some woman, she sounded like she spoke a drunken language. He decides to profit of this "luck" and blends in with the crowd of people standing at the bar. Now he just has to hope another one of his idiotic plans work.

 

[The Captain]

The men brushed past Valia in frustration, her brief distraction costing them their target. Before they could direct their anger at her, she'd melted back into the crowd at the bar. Zippin her suit back up fully and trying to wipe the booze of her suit, she made her way over to the boy at the counter.

"You better tell me what's in that bag, kid."

"You better tell me what's in that bag, kid." Zarl heard. This is his end, he thought. He couldn't afford being busted, so he ran out of the bar as fast as he could. It was getting dark already and he ran to the back of the cantina. "Please, please tell me she didn't see where I went". He sat down and was so nervous he even started sweating. He wiped it off with his coat.

 

[The Captain]

Well, there was good news and bad news. The good news was that Valia had lost the kid very easily in the dark. The bad news was the four men spotted him bolting out the door and were now looking for hjm as well.

(In this RP, my character is going to be 16 when he was back stranded in Tatooine. In his most recent RPs he is 31. This fact, however, does not change anything about your character. Only mine)

Amerath Candroon walks into the cantina. Finally after a week of strolling across the desert, he finally arrived at Mos Eisely. His first stop is in the cantina after all he is parched after his long trek. Whilst making his way to the bar, he looks up at the menu to see water is only 2 Republic Credits. Checking his wallet, he discovers that it is affordable.
Amerath approaches the bar and slams 3 Republic Credits. "1 jug of water please. Keep the change."
In response, the bartender nods and proceeds to filling up the jug with the cantina's water. He then scans the area of maybe an opportunity of something he could steal. After a few moments of looking, he sees a Chagrian approach a nervous boy who looks a few years older than Amerath is himself.
"One jug of water coming to you, laddy!" says the loud bartender in a Scottish accent.
Amerath then nods in thanks and takes a sip from the water jug.

"It should be safe by now"". Huge mistake, obviously. As Zarl came back to the front of the cantina he saw the men walking to the same place. He quickly runs back and takes the other side. The 3 men go to the place he was a minute ago, and the bounty hunter stays at the front door, searching for him. A group of people walked close to him, so to blend in, he walked with them. Bad luck at luck, the people went into the cantina. He couldn't get out of the group infront of a freaking bounty hunter! As the group walks in he is unnoticed, just to see the woman again, looking his way.

 

[The Captain]

Valia was forced to stifle her laughter as the young man was basically dragged back inside by a group of bar goers. Smirking st him, she made her way over to the boy.

"Looks like you're stuck with me, kid. So why not just fess up?"

Zarl thinks again. "Running is useless now, I'm horrible at lieing and shes a lot stronger than me... lets see the options" He decides to give up. "Gold." he sighed.

 

[The Captain]

"...No way." Now she was curious. Who brings a bag of gold to a cantina? This was getting stranger by the second.

 

[ThatStarWarsFan]

"Whats the problem?" Zarl asks himself whats wrong. And then he understood. Who would bring a bag of gold to a cantina? "Oh, I think they are smugglers or something, I don't know"

 

[The Captain]

"Well, whatever the case may be, I'd like a cut for intercepting those goons." Speaking of which, the man at the door was starting to look around into the bar.

 

[ThatStarWarsFan]

"I didn't ask for it, did I?" Zarl spoke. He tried to sound as brave as he could, but it only made him sound worse. He heard footsteps of a armored person near him.

 

[The Captain]

Valia dragged the boy to a nearby corner table, making sure the armored goon didn't see them.

"You didn't have to ask, you needed the help."

"Yes, I needed help, but why would you help me without knowing what I was doing? Maybe I was a Jedi, if you knew that you wouldn't help me!"
