Yea i found it. I wont post on it right now but keep me in mind. With Nerus's dislike for aliens and Crosis's dislike for non purebloods I think it would be interesting.

Alright, here we go. A couple things on the general PvP issues I have read in this thread. The biggest is vagueness. For example, we have:

He then quickly followed up with a swivel on his foot and several powerful, yet quick testing blows toward the back and legs of his opponent.

...he used force jump and jumped below his opponent sending multiple powerful strikes on the opponent's legs and knees and as his opponent ...

Lines like these are great for simply story driven threads, however, when engaged in PvP, detail is absolutely critical. Adjectives to describe where, how, and what happens in a member's post will determine how one should correctly engage. When members don't follow through with these details, there develops the problem of unintentional god-moding and power-playing, which no one enjoys being blamed for. With that in mind, taking a line quoted from above, instead of:

He then quickly followed up with a swivel on his foot and several powerful, yet quick testing blows toward the back and legs of his opponent.

It would better read as:

He quickly swiveled on his left foot, shifting his body to drive his blade through the back of his opponent's knees.

Members would be able to read the above and know exactly where you're character is moving, how they are moving as well as what is happening. If you have a hard time visualizing what is happening in a duel then sometimes its best to act it out or draw it out. Slow down, take the moment to see what is happening between posts.

Secondly the other big issue is the amount of content that is posted, if it looks like your character is doing too much, then there is a good guarantee they are doing too much. Cut back on content: a good PvP post formula is REACTION-ACTION, meaning your character reacts according to what their opponent is doing and then reply with what your character will do in response. Then when appropriate, add the necessary details that will effect you and your opponents character such as setting details, who is around, what is around, etc.

So, as for the thread, I am ruling the duel as a draw. Kes' Force Scream will remain, however, the magnitude and the power behind his yell will not be powerful enough to cause any harm to Crosis' Acolyte. Kes is an Acolyte also and at most, his scream may be jarring to his opponent. The thread is currently at a good stopping point where your characters, Crosis and Kes, may part ways. Continuing the thread as is would require extensive editing in several posts and the time to take to make those edits would not be fair to you or any moderator reviewing the thread. You may in the future, if you chose to do so, hold another duel; however, please take what I have explained above into consideration for your posts regarding PvP to avoid misinterpretations.

Actually, GABA, another issue here is Kes' character using Scream or Bellow. His character has had no training in Bellow, the accepted power, and a Force Scream is an extremely powerful ability that only happens with great stress/pain/rage/anguish, and even still only for those who are much more powerful with the Force (IIRC). Either way, his Acolyte cannot pull off either of them. It's a power he shouldn't be using at all right now, let alone in that thread.

The post states his character used Force Scream, and in the manner in which he was looking to cause damage, then Force Bellow would have been ruled out of the possibilities. Though as I stated in my post, his Force Scream may shake up/rattle his opponent; the intention of the post gave the impression his Scream caused the equivalent damage to someone of a Master level Force User, which at acolyte level, will not be possible.

I didn't think Force Scream was possible at all at lower levels, but I stand corrected.

My apologies for this mistake and I will absolutely learn from it and will attempt to create more of a descriptive reaction to it however I also would be like to state that I am an individual that likes to explain things in a more simpler format as I believe that is an effective way to be able to give the reader a better more sufficient way to imagine the respective scene whether it is a duel or going on a mission.
