Landing his ship and powering it down, Atuu would climb from his cockpit and see the visceral scene painted by Wer. It was disturbing even to him, holding his stomach in place as it tried to leap up his throat. Atuu would turn his attention to Wer "There most likely is more, we need to move to the control room for this station. If we can clear that out the station is at our finger tips. We can likely get any survivors to flee or surrender." Atuu concluded as he looked over the carnage.

Waiting for Xim to land and join them, Atuu would move towards the entrance to the hangar, stopping over the body of the Tintinna he had shot to kick this whole thing off. Fishing through his belongings for a moment he would find a few cred sticks and an access card. "Looks like we can get past some of the doors with this, if they've started to lock things down." Atuu remarked holding the security access card in the air as he waited for Xim. @Narzen @The Mad Hammer

As the last of the ships ships began to turn tail, the onslaught of the station’s forward guns seemed to intensify. In the back of his ship, Xim could hear the muffled shouts of the Mandalorian escapees as the Manda Money shook as a turbolaser blast glazed their shields.

“Son of a bantha!” Xim cried as the ship tossed like a paper boat on the tide. Xim fought to maintain control of the ship as she pitched. The fearful and angry cries in the back reminding him of his greater purpose. “Hold on. Hold on. I got ya.” He hollered over his shoulder as he brought the G1-A about in a tight loop, the after burners howling as they pushed the ship beyond it’s original limits.

Klaxons blared as the console lit up like a life day tree as a second blast all but vaporized their shields. “Kriff.” Xim swore. “Come on baby. You got this.” He urged his ship further and further until they outdistanced the guns of the station.

Slowing to a rest, Xim threw himself back in his seat, his brow coated with sweat. “Sweet Mandalore, lets not do that again.” He sighed as dull thuds echoed from the hold behind. Picking himself up, Xim called, “I’m coming. I’m coming,” before bending over his comm unit, “<Brothers, I have the captives but my ship has taken significant hits. I am going to work to free them from their bonds. Can you disable the main battery and we shall come to your aid?>”

Turning, Xim opened the door with a hiss. Within, he saw the family of Mandalorians, stripped of their armor and huddled in a corner amidst Xim’s cache of supplies. Their sighs of relief were audible as they saw the Mandalorian adorned pilot. Their possessions must still he aboard the ship somewhere; but first thing was first. Without a key it would take some doing to get the stuncuffs off of each of then. Drawing his blade, Xim squat down and set to work.

"Roger roger" wer quipped like an old b1 battle droid. He really didn't care if the station was theirs or not, but the fact that wer was still riding a blood-fueled high meant that he was going to jump at any chance to kill more pirates.

Heaving the shield up he had acquired, wer made his way towards the nearest doors. The control station of these space stations were usually near the Centerpoint, so he figured further inside would be the correct way.

As wer lead the way, there was little trouble initially. The long hallways of durasteel felt strangely ominous with each turn. Whether it was because there weren't any other pirates on the base or because the pirates were planning something was beyond wers knowledge.

It turned out to be the latter, as wer turned another corner and came face to face with two heavily armed droids in front of some rather imposong blast doors. Before were could shout something, the sound of doors shutting somewhere behind him confirmed that he and Atuu (should he have chosen to follow wer), were now trapped.

"Behind me!" Wer shouted as he put the shield between himself and the droids. Several shots rang out, striking the shield. Another hit and wer was certain the shield would break.

Having followed Wer through the corridors Atuu stayed close to his compatriot with the shield. Responding to Xim in kind after hearing of his landing <"You take care of them vod, meet us at the center of this station when you're done."> Atuu said as he flipped their location to Xim. Seemingly moments before the door they'd just traveled through snapped shut.

"Ah dank farrik!" Atuu shouted falling in behind Wer at his request, tapping him on the shoulder twice to signal he was in place. Atuu would feel the the multiple impacts against the shield Wer carried. Quickly digging into a pouch on his belt, Atuu produced a fragmentation grenade. Arming it he would then roll the device between Wer's feet towards the droids, and past them.

It would make a dull thud as it knocked against the blast door <"Cover your feet, get low!"> Atuu shouted as he crouched behind Wer. Hopefully he would duck down and cover his feet as a couple seconds later the grenade would detonate. Sending shrapnel into the backs the two security droids. Both of which would topple over, injured but not destroyed yet.

<"Finish them off and we can see what's behind door number one.">
Atuu said as he rose from behind Wer with his blaster trained on the duo of droids, ready to execute if they put up any more of a fight against Wer.

As Xim fiddled and futzed, twitched and toiled, finagled and twisted at the locks on the stuncuffs, he chatted with the family. They had been living abroad; after years of work they had decided to return to the center of Mandalorian community in the galaxy, to raise their children amongst their people. Only they had hit a snag, engine trouble followed by being severely outgunned by the pirates. They had fought, oh how they had fought; but a hulky Trandoshan had threatened the youngest members of their family with instant disintegration. That being said, as the last set of cuffs clattered to the floor, Xim hutried for the pilot’s console and keyed the comms, “<Brothers, be advised; the pirates have a large store of disruptors somewhere on board and are willing to use them.>”

Slowly, Xim began to circle the G1-A around to bring the distant station into view as the mother of the rescued family slid into the copilot’s seat, “Reporting for duty. You think they can snag our beskar’gam out of there?” She asked as she pulled the targeting array toward her, bringing the concussion missile launcher online. Carefully, she began to hone in the array trying to lock on to the station’s weapon platforms.

“<Uhhh. Also . . . several pieces of beskar’gam were stolen by the infidels.>” Xim did not need to say anything else, the rest carried on the silent airwaves. To possess a Mandalorian’s armor and not be a Mandalorian was deserving of death.

And as the ship began to slowly coast forward, the rapid beep of target lock echoed from the console as the woman let out a thoroughly Mandalorian war whoop and a pair of concussion missiles reached out into space, racing toward the station.

“Missiles inbound.”

Wer buckled down as the grenade was tossed. Explosives were always a fun time, but usually he didn't like being the one closest to them. As the explosion shook the room, shrapnel sprayed across the shield Wer had been using.

"Alright, enough of this piece of scrap!" Wer shouted as he dropped the shield and charged forward, sawblade whirring with activation. One of the droids was struggling to pick itself up, but didn't have the luxery of time. Wer, in his heavy armor placed one foot on top of its chassis and drove his blade down into the thing's neck, severing its processors from its motors.

"Good work with the grenades..." Wer commented as he pulled his blade back out. "Xim, did you say disruptors? Kriffing scrap heaps, these guys don't play fair do they?" At the door, Wer punched a few commands to open, only to be locked out. Sighing, Wer looked at Atuu.

"Any way to get through blast doors? 10 to 1 that what we need is in there"

Holding the security access card in his hand he had grabbed earlier he turned to Wer "I would guess this might get us in... If not I have a shaped charge." Atuu remarked as he let his carbine swing from the sling around his person and swiped the card.

The panel flashed red and gave a chime as if to say DENIED.

Stowing the card in a belt pocket Atuu would get to work placing a shaped breaching charge on the door, directly over where the two halves met in the middle. Punching in a 15 second timer he would look back up to Wer <"15 Seconds."> delivering the line flatly as he activated the device. Standing and running back to the start of the hallway to take cover - as there was none in this section. Although it was a directionally destructive device he did not want to take the chance of something going wrong without cover.

After a long 15 seconds the charge would detonate with a loud explosion, the tearing of metal and a plume of smoke that would dissipate after a few moments. Moving toward the now largely destroyed door Atuu would toss a concussion grenade in, unsure of what was behind the door.

Preparing to enter after the concussion blast, Atuu would immediately find a disoriented pirate that he would shoulder throw and then strike with his carbine. After which another two would begin firing over his head as he stayed low to the ground.

<"Watch those disruptors!"> He called out keeping his form low and toward the ground.

Wer nodded at the command and readied himself. This was it. They were going to take out the central command of these pirates and make sure every last kriffing one of them was dead. To hell with their disruptors and with their murderous ways. They would pay. They would ALL pay.

The grenade went off. The pirates fought back. Wer roared and charged forward, chainsword in both hands. Slashing up and sideways, the chainsword made its mark in the first pirate. Unfortunately for Wer, the pirate wore a heavier set of armor, as the blade caught caught halfway through and resisted getting pulled out.

Wer didn't have time to think. Instead, he simply let go of the blade and went hand-to-hand with the final thug. The Trandoshan had turned its disruptor towards the Mandalorian, but Wer grabbed the gun and yanked it out of the lizards hands while delivering a blow to the face. A memory flashed in Wer's mind of fighting Trandoshans on Sullust when he and Xim were hunting a Lavaworm. Wer grinned under his helmet as the lizard punched him in the chest, hitting his armor. Grabbing the lards face, Wer headbutted his foe. However, he refused to stop, and continued to headbutt over and over until the lizard fell over dead.

"RRRRAAAAAAA!" Wer shouted into the air.

As the Manda Money began to accelerate forward, Xim offered a knowing to the woman at the helm beside him.

“Nice shot.”

Of the two missiles, one was licked off by return fire, blossoming in the voice of space with a concussing silent echo which visibly rippled against the star studded backdrop. The second missile; however, had found it’s mark. It struck the main turbo-array above the central control hub of the station. Plumes of fire erupted as escaped oxygen from the station mingled with the spark of destructive power released as the concussive blast tore into the station.

“Got another one like that in ya?” He chuckled as he nodded at the console as if to give permission to fire another pair of the expensive weapons into the fray.

The woman did not reply, but offered a wicked smile as she locked onto target once again sending another duo of lasers circling through the empty void between the station and the ship. Xim punched the hammer down and began to accelerate forward, opening up with the lasers from the ship.

“Two more missiles coming in hot boys!”
