Better humans? Better humans? Saddam Hussein is a perfect example of how humans are, we are. To be a better human we would have had to stop him before he started. And what do you think is better for someone, to live the rest of your life in isolation—which many men have gone isane because of—or die a quick death?

On the subject of what to do with a man so terrible, there isn't really a moral high ground. Not torturing and having big gay men rape him is showing we're the "better humans".

Yes, and in this case, the moral high ground is to kill the guy. Don't kill him and you have unrest in not only Iraq, but in the US, too(Especially here in Michigan), Kill him and you get unrest merely in Iraq(only caused by insurgents however), Rape him and everyone gets a good laugh and then goes "eeewww...".

World view? His followers and people in Iraq would know he was rotting in a cell for the rest of his life. Do you not think people wouldn't try to get him out somehow? It's a modern day prison, no blast shields stand in the way.

You want to make him disappear? Get him to confess that what he did was wrong in front of everyone, denounce his ways, denounce his followers. Destroy his way of life. Throwing him in jail and keeping him alive like that will just remind people he's still alive. Though killing him would do even more so. I'm just saying that if you want him to disappear from the world, to fade through time.

Dude you have no idea what it was like here when news reached us. Muslims and Iraqis all over Michigan called in sick and partied. They'd be mighty pissed if they let him off after saying they're gonna kill him. Don't assume you know what's going on over here when you're All the way across the Atlantic.



FYI, Matt, Dearborn/Dearborn Heights is the Arabic(loosely used) Capital of the US. There's more Middle Eastern people here in Michigan than in the entire United States.
