Runaway Rascal

[Tristyn]

The captain on his starship raised an eyebrow in utter confusion. As his ship began to face the enemy cruiser, it slowed to halt and stood their. Because in atmosphere hyperspace jumps were impossible, even for modern day cruisers, the ship simply stood their facing the sky. It's engines were clearly strained and the shields must've been down,"All batteries, fire at the engines!"

If the ship didn't make any other attempts to escape, the thrusters on the back will explode almost immediately, causing it to plummet back down to the surface.

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

There was clearly no fear in Arwen's eyes. She wanted to fight like she had done years before for her kingdom against a whole gang of pirates. She had fought them by herself including the leader and took him down by herself. She still decided to follow her anyway. "General, it would be a great pleasure to fight alongside you. I defeated an entire pirate gang on my own including their leader. My father was a Jedi too." she said hoping that she wouldn't send her home. "My people are out there probably frightened. It is my duty to help." Arwen still ran with Rayla to her ship.

Arwen looked up into the sky to see a starship cruiser. One that had honestly also been a long time since she saw one. At least since she was a young girl. She remembered the pirates had one also. She listened as Rayla commanded the captain of her ship to take down the cruiser that headed towards the woods.

The sound that came from the battle ship shooting at the cruiser was something she hadn't heard in a long, long time. Something she sort of missed. She had been watching the explosions coming from where the ships were, flares of red laser bolts and smoke rising into the air. She was jolted from watching this when Rayla grabbed her hand and ran with her onto a drop ship.

She wanted to object again when Rayla gave the order to take her home, but something caught her attention. She felt fear, distress, and pain coming from somewhere. She figured it was coming from the forest. It had to be. The last explosion that just happened, it had to have been the other Jedi. Arwen needed to help, she felt the urge to help and she knew she needed to.

 

[Tristyn]

"I honestly relish the chance to fight alongside other Jedi and I do my best not to miss a fight....I really do, but if so much as a scratch is laid on you - I'm the one getting the blame. I was sent here to defend Naboo and it's people and if I'm allowing the princess to put herself in danger, it's not gonna look good for me. So with all due respect, I must decline. You must go home" Ray smiled at the young Jedi/princess wanting to fight. They were very much the same, but Ray had come a long way since she was a teen. She wasn't as brash and selfish as she used to be. As a Jedi Knight, she had duties and responsibilities, such as protecting the heir to the throne.

She gave a short bow to Arwen one last time before the dropship would take off for Theed palace. The Knight then boarded another gunship that took off and after the fleeing girl and her pursuers.

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Arwen had a defeated look on her face. There was nothing for her back at the palace except for the riding lessons and boring meetings between the council. She looked back to Rayla and gave a small nod remembering she was able to see this Jedi again if she wanted. Quickly taking Rayla's hand again she told her idea. "Fine... If you live through today along with your men, like I know Jedi usually do, I would like to invite you to dinner tonight and bring your men too." she started to turn away with slight sadness in her eyes before turning back around real quick remembering one more thing. "Oh yeah, and if you are able to get your hands on the youngling, bring her too. She looked starved." she said.

She saw Rayla give a small bow before the ship took of for her palace. She gave a small smile as the ship rose and then sighed walking over to a bench in the ship to sit down, her head on her hands.

 

[Tristyn]

"I will. And I'll make sure we bring that girl back", her priorities shifted once again. Now she wasn't supposed to harm her like she was planning. No more stun rifles or any of that, now she was gonna have to talk her into coming back. Great.

 

[Sammothy]

Sam awoke on the ship, now fully able to control his limbs and face. He stood up immediately and looked out the window of the cell door. He looked around for any sign to where he was. Then he saw it, it all came back to him. He was on a rebel ship. He then started to panic and paced up and down his cell. He picked up his helmet and thought 'Would it smash?' as he approached the glass window (on the door) and hit it with all he could. No result, he did it again. No result, third time it smashed. It almost exploded. He reached his hand down the door and twisted the handle. The door slowly but surely opened. He carefully stepped out and looked both ways before heading down the left hallway. He knew all about these ships, it was one of the things he studied as a commando. Most importantly he knew where weapons were held. He tiptoed down the hallway and eventually he arrived at the weapon storage. He heard footsteps and hid for cover. It was just two rebels, luckily. As they walked beside him, he stood up and punched one in the middle of the ribs, causing him to fall over and put the other one in a sleeper hold. He made sure they both wouldn't call for help but stuffing toilet paper in their mouths. He stood in front of the weapon storage and punched the button pad and pulled with all his might to open the door. 'Thank god it worked' sighed Sam under his breath. He walked around the storage and eventually came across his holsters, blasters and most importantly... His Z-6 riot control baton. He strapped his holsters to his back and sides and placed his blasters and etc into them. He placed his helmet on and triumphantly said 'Lets do this' as he walked out and proceeded to find the exit.

 

[Valik Extremis]

"The jedi only want to see you fail" the hunter uttered as he walked deeper into the forrest.
"They dont care about you....they...left you"
The hunter stepped lightly, feeling her presence amongst the force.
The droids gave him a wide birth stepping farther away from him on either side.
"I can protect you, i can help you feel"
turning sharply to the rear he felt Talon growing closer. Looking to the droids to delay him while he hunted down the girl first.
"I can show you the way to greatness little one"
A squad of droids set out to find the pursuing jedi and try and hault his movements.

Meanwhile his ship, gaining speed as it left the atmosphere. Dropped all its shield to the front and raised the 50% that was left to the blunt of the rebels attack, blasting all it had to help shield it as its engine powered to the max.

 

[Tristyn]

One of the rebel cruiser's engninneers, a twi'lek woman, was working on some faulty wires in the hallway when she heard some commotion all the way down the passages. She put her tools down and went to investigate. She walked down the hallway and called to see if every thing was alright,"Hello!? Every thing alright over there?" She rounded a corner and went white we she saw the prisoner disabling two soldiers.

 

[Sammothy]

Wrecker casually walked out the storage and finished off with the soldiers when he saw the engineer. "I was just... Going for a stroll. Nothing much. Shouldn't you be doing your job?" he said. Sam was trying his best not to make a commotion. 'If she rings the alarm, I'm dead.' thought Sam. He threw down a smoke grenade (Which he took from the storage) and ran. Just ran. He had no idea where he was going, just away. He eventually arrived at a door. 'Please let this be the exit...' he murmured. He pulled out his Z-6 riot control baton and jammed it through the door, he could see the baton burning through and the next thing he saw was the sign ontop of the door saying 'COMMAND CENTRE'. He immediately stopped what he was doing. He looked for other ways to go. There was only another way, through the trash chute. "Not this again." Sam moaned. He ran towards the small trapdoor and kicked it open. He put his baton back into its holster and dived through.

 

[Tristyn]

Without a second thought, the engineer quickly hit a nearby alarm. The whole ship was alerted and the sirens went off. The bridge officers turned the security cameras and located the suspect and a squad was dispatched to his last know position. The twi'lek turned around after her eyes started to burn from the apparent tear gas that had been dropped on the floor. She darted after the assailant with her sidearm drawn.

As he flew down the chute, she put her blaster in the hole and pulled the trigger a couple of times. The squad arrived and ask her where he was,"He's down here in the trash compactor!" They all stood for a second and smiled. They all had the same idea. The woman turned on the compactor and the walls started to close in on the trapped assailant. The exit door was closed shut. There was no way out. They weren't gonna be that cruel, fortunately for him, she shut the compactor off just as it was touching the stormtrooper. The squad would move out to find him and capture him. Again.

 

[Sammothy]

"Oh my god, please stop, please, please stop!" prayed Sam Meriet as he was being slowly crushed to death but it suddenly stopped as it was touching the front of his helmet. "That was close... Oh. They stopped it." smiled Sam yet he was still going to be taken in. He was almost paralysed in the same position, trying to wiggle out was near impossible. He just had to stand there, doing absolutely nothing. He couldn't reach any of his weapons, he was definitely screwed.

 

[Tristyn]

A soldier opened the door and quickly aimed his weapon and fired a bolt that stunned him once again. He was dragged back to his cell once again. This time the door was ray shielded. LOL

 

[Valik Extremis]

The ship blew out of orbit starting to smoke but its hull and crew mostly intact.

The droids waited in secret until talon had passed them only to jump out and open fire trying to destroy him.

"You see, i know what its like to have been rejected....to have felt like the world was against you" valik exclaimed still pursuing the girl.

 

[Talon maara]

Talon was in a hurry trying to catch up to the hunter, not noticing he was entering a trap. Suddenly he heared the shots coming from behind.
Quickly talon ignored his sabers repelling the blasts, hitting tree trunks all around him.
"Where is she?!" He yelled. Leaping towards the droids he swung violently directing his offense towards them.

 

[Sammothy]

Wrecker slowly awoke from being unconscious and stood up. "Balls." said Wrecker as he looked at the shielded door. Wrecker just gave up and lay back on the bed.

 

[Tristyn]

"Yeah I know. I hate stunning you too", the soldier threw him into the cell and activated the ray shield. He left to get some coffee.

 

[Talon maara]

Talon swirled left and right dodging the blasters as he got closer occasionally deflecting one here and there.
"I must get to her!" He muttered to himself as he cut down one of the droids and quickly dispatching of the other.
Out of breath talon turned and sprinted to the last direction he was headed.
"Ive gotta be close" he thought to himself. "RED!" He yelled in hopes she would hear him.
Talon soon ran to an opening, locking onto the hunter ahead of him who seemed to be stalking through the woods talking allowed also searching for the girl.

In fear talon headed towards the hunter with tunnel vision, fully aware of the hunters capabilities and reputation but unaware of the remaining 38 droids who lie off his flanks....

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

The Rebel soldiers had dropped Arwen off twenty minutes ago and now she couldn't stop pacing back and forth. "I need to do something about this." she said to herself. Then she remembered. She has a private ship that she could take out so she could kick some pirate ass like she always loved to. She ran outside, grabbing a new pair of guns, holstering them quickly and then grabbing her sabers before running outside to the small shuttle she had.

It didn't take long for Arwen to arrive when she heard someone yell, "Red". Following where the voice was coming from, she saw battle droids and then behind them, the Jedi that was in the bar and further on she heard the bounty hunter. Taking out her blasters, she finished off the droids that were left over and then ran trying to catch up with Talon. She would be careful though and slow down before she reached him and tell him that it was just her. "Hey, it's me. I'm going to help. And I won't take no for an answer." she said as she then came up right next to him. She pulled her two lightsabers from her belt and kept them in her hand in case of emergency which was probably more than likely.

 

[Red]

Weak...Thats what you are kiddo..

Red snapped out of her dreams, seething with hate an emotion, she breathed heavily and her gait changed towards aggression and the dark side. She couldn't take it anymore, She would not be called.. /weak.../ She would not be so easily pushed over.., She would stand up for herself..She would never..never back down. She shouted out from the left side of the cave that branched off. "Fight me like a true warrior!, Leave your droids behind!" . Shouted Red outwards . After doing this she would quickly sneak to the other off split side of the cavern. Hiding at an elevated natural platform.

But then..Red began to cry, She began to cry and wail. She began to cry pure, sad tears. She began to cry, she was weak . She was Pitiful, She was... Nothing.... "NO NO NO NO NO!" Red wailed, She couldn't bare it anymore, she screamed in rage, activating her purple curved hilted lightsaber. She.. Would not fall, She calmed herself, thinking about her situation like a Jedi. She dashed towards the otherside of the cave, and moved towards the center of the entrance. Her lightsaber glowing her calmness, and Jedi resolve..

"I will die, this we both know" Red called out.

"Atleast, give me a fight, to remember in the afterlife..so my life wont be so meager.."

Red braced herself.

 

[Valik Extremis]

The hunter heard her cries crom amongst the cave. But little did she know that the hunter was a Columi, a sentient species that had evolved so highly amongst the brain they used their eyes to see sound waves. The hunter over looking his shoulder signaled to the droids to stop the two approaching from behind. Slowly the hunter emersed himself amongst the caverns
"Dear sweet child, im only here to liberate you....liberate you from all this doubt" the hunter remarked. "My name is Valik Extremis, sweet one, it is rude to say such vulger things about a total stranger" he said with a big old grin. Igniting all 6 of his sabers, his robotic arms moved slowly as his hoverpod creeped amidst the halls of sheer rock and darkness.
