Runaway Rascal

[Tristyn]

Ray kept up her fighting, destroying as many as she could, but what the hell. There were probably like a hundred droids in this cave and even were her powerful lightsaber skills, even she couldn't keep it going for long,"Sergeant.....keep them busy! Cover me!"

"-will do, sir!"

While the handful of rebels inside the cave tried to keep the droids occupied, the Knight made her way back up, only to spot the last of her squad that was positioned in the entrance to be gunned down by enemy reinforcements,"FETH! Where the hell are these coming from!" The droids noticed her and opened fire. She dodged a few blaster bolts and shut down her sabers, clipped them onto her belt and then gathered up some energy, then released it all in one powerful Force push. The droids standing just at the entrance were thrown in the air, and before more could enter, she brought down the cave and blocked the entrance.

Now the only light still left in the tunnels were coming from the blasters and lightsabers further down. She thought of just calling in a quick and efficient bombing run to take out the remaining droids, but that may damage the caves she was in. As a general she had to make decisions like this, so she decided she would have to deal with them when she got out.

She ran back down again and assumed an attack stance, however she didn't ignite her sabers, instead she closed her eyes to concentrate once more. Suddenly her arms shot out and she lifted all of the droids into the air, and all the droids stopped firing. She kept them for a moment, then she squeezed her fists, crushing all the droids. She let go and they crashed to the floor. She stopped to catch her breath,"Good...good....now the field is even...."

Those were a lot of droids. She was tired. So she instead she allowed the others to continue will she kept her guard and rested while her now confused soldiers waited for her to give some new orders.

 

[Tristyn]

The captain faced palmed himself after hearing of the unauthorized take off from one of the landing bays. The stolen ship was long gone and too far away to accurity fire at, and probably too far to for their fighters to catch up with,"Calculate that ship's last known trajectory" One of the officers spoke up,"Sir, the ship was seen heading in General Umari's direction" The captain thought for a moment. The general could easily kill him in combat, so why would he be going there? Nonetheless he decided to contact her anyway.

Several calls went through, but all went unanswered. She was too deep underground.

 

[Sammothy]

It took Sam a few minutes to reach Umari's destination but he still arrived anyway. 'If the general's here, the princess will be too.' thought Sam as he arrived at the planet. He popped open the door of the ship and swiftly exited. He began to follow the trail of footprints, they then lead to a cavern which the entrance was blocked by rubble. He rummaged through the rebel ship and found a few explosives. He walked over to the rubble and placed them down, he armed them and ran for cover. He didn't know how big the blast would be. He set them off and it was only just a little poof but it got rid of most of the rocks. The rest he simply had to pull away. They were smaller ones of course. He turned on his flash-light (which was located on the side of his helmet) and slowly entered. It felt like hours before he arrived but eventually he did. He thought capturing the princess would be a good idea. He soon changed his mind when he saw lightsabres, lots and lots of lightsabres. He thought 'Since I'm here, I might as well watch and see what happens.' . Sam decided to take cover behind a rock and watch. Just watch. It would be suicide trying to attack.

 

[Valik Extremis]

Valiks hand flung across the battle field as reds blade sliced through it effortlessly. In anger and retaliation valik sprung at red viscously assaulting her position.

His effort to coercing her to the darkside now turned to him trying to annihilate her WITH the dark side.

Valik lost his focus in anger and left his saber where it lie, not utilizing his telekinesis to wield it. His composition filled with pure rage against the girl.

 

[Talon maara]

Talon leaped towards red joining the battle against the hunter.
"Are you ok?!" Talon asked grunting as he paired off of valik.
"You sure know how to make someone angry!"
He said chuckling as he dodge to his flank stumbling upon a crevice amidst the ground.

 

[Red]

Valik charged/leaped at Red, catching her off guard as she backed up from him to maintain distance. Valik's constant attacks out of rage and passion, were filled with hate and lots of strength. Red , due to her style Makashi, was preserving energy with simple and effective moves, with Valik's Juyo style, and his lost hand, sending him into a mightly frenzy of lightsaber combat and death. Red was although ,kept on the defensive. She couldn't think straight while being over whelmed, as she was only adept in Makashi and combat. Her footwork and distance were failing, and her parries were falling aswell, before she had a quick idea. She used the force to propell her against a wall, landing on it with her feet, before leaping next to Talon, as they faced Valik

" Took you long enough.. Together, alright?"


Red took stance...

 

[Talon maara]

Talon took his deep slow breathes as he normally did before committing to battle. Slowly he stepped behind red as his stance opened wider holding two of his sabers horizontally infront of her with one over the other, both pointed in opposite directions and placed his remaining two vertically pointing towards the sky on the outside of the others.

Talon slowly created a barrier around him and Red, as he quickly blocked the incoming string of strikes valik tried to shove down their throats.

 

[Valik Extremis]

Valik struck with all his might. Trying to successfully strike red and talon but utterly failed. In anger valik swiftly moved back and flanked their position from the left side. Aggressively rushing and retreating in a pulsating manner.
Back and forth back and forth he rocked all while swinging aimlessly. It was clear valik had broken his concentration from the fight to clearly wanting them dead.

 

[Red]

Red saw an opportunity in his aimless swinging, she took a step forward, stepping towards his right, then parrying and locking his blades across his chest, which would leave him completely exposed, she took the quick chance to dash around him to his behind, placing her lightsaber at his neck while he was swinging aimlessly with strength and not skill, as he was purely enraged. She was breathing heavy from the pain of her shoulder, and tears blanketed her eyes. She sniffled,

"Im 'friad.. your jedi hunting days..end now"

If one movement, that wasn't words..she would have impailed his neck

"Please..you ...you can change...your not evil! You have heart! You have good in you! ...Please...your....your the only one who understands...dont..please dont die ... please be good. " Reds voice was filled with crippling depression and sadness, but her guard was not down..

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Arwen bolted in time to be right with Talon and Red before igniting her blades and offering to help them take this hunter down. She sensed that a few things were coming. It was evident that the trooper had found his way out and was going to attempt something with her. She froze in her thoughts as time seemed to be at a standstill. She looked towards Red, then Talon and then the bounty hunter. They were frozen and not moving at all. It was odd. Her last vision that she had was many years before when she was nine to eleven.

Soon everything unfroze and she saw Red lecturing him with a teary eyed voice and a saber at his neck telling him to come to the light side. "She's right. You should listen to that young lady. She's a smart one. Your feelings may be hidden from your mind right now due to it being covered and smothered by the dark side, but you do have a heart. You don't have to follow the ways of a bounty hunter or sith just because that's the way you think you have to think to impress someone. Listen to your heart and come with us." she said hoping that maybe she'd help a little bit.

 

[Talon maara]

Talon was standing infront of valik, at the ready. He was comitted to backing Reds every move. "There is still faith in you valik." He added "there is always a way...."
Talon felt he knew what the outcome was. And shuttered at the image in his mind....for it was what had driven him crazy in the first place. All the blood he had spilled in previous wars....but he knew the outcome....and it scared him

 

[Valik Extremis]

Valik began to smile wider and wider. Valik too knew the outcome, but he could see the jedi who surrounded him didnt know of his gadgets and gizmos that lie amongst his hoverpod. For the front carried two small blasters....that were pointed at the oblivious talon who stood at his front.
"We all know how this ends" valik commented as his face had grown serious.
The blasters fired towards talon fiercly, knowing well that red would cut him down.

 

[Sammothy]

"Well I did not see that coming!" said Sam, not knowing how loud he was. He just quietly sat back down and pretended he never said a word

 

[Talon maara]

Talon deflected the rounds masterfully. Sending them every which way.
"Why would you resort to this?" Talon exclaimed. "Why all this hate and destruction?"
Shortly after talon had spoken he felt a sharp pain amongst his abdomen. Looking down blood fell against the stoned floor, trickling from three small holes that penetrated all the way through his armor.

Falling backwards talons head hit the floor rendering him unconscious.

 

[Sammothy]

Sam realised something was up, the jedi he was rooting for just collapsed. He stood up and ran over to Talon, expecting him to be dead. He checked his pulse and thankfully he was alive. Sam immediately knew what to do. As the others were busy fighting, he held both of Talon's legs and dragged him behind a large boulder. He pulled out some numb-spray and quickly applied it to the wounds. He also grabbed a few bandages and wrapped it around his abdomen and carefully looked over the rock, just to make sure nobody was coming his way. "You owe me one." said Sam slightly chuckling yet concentrating on tightening the bandages.

 

[Red]

Bam ... Done... Red would have impailed towards Valik's neck. She. would have the fall to her knees... Crying...

 

[Sammothy]

"Well you did it guys, congratulations are in order." said Sam triumphantly. Yet he still felt uneasy about being with a lot of jedi. He decided it was best to leave. He dropped a few bandages beside Talon and and turned around and retraced his footsteps back outside. To be honest, he didn't feel like leaving yet. He might as well stick around and see what happens. He went into his ship and quickly grabbed a refreshing drink. His mouth was very dry, mostly because he kept breathing in dust. He grabbed a small bottle of water and walked back down to where all the commotion was happening. When he got there, he hid behind the same rock and quietly peered at the jedi.

 

[Tristyn]

Ray finally got up after a long break. She was rather impressed that everyone had managed to defeat the hunter. See, teamwork goes a long way. She dusted off her robes and turned to her men, "Maybe you guys should've been arresting that stormtrooper behind the rock instead of staring at me"

The troopers looked around in shock, but the embarrassment quickly turned to wit,"General, I think the dark is messing with your eyes. There's no one there" The troops laughed thinking they may have proven the Jedi wrong, as they usually never do. Without a change her expression, she used the Force and pulled the commando out from the rock and into plain view. They stopped laughing and after shaking their heads they lifted up their weapons and aimed at the trooper.

Ray crossed her arms and walked up to him until he was just in reach,"There must be a reason why you came back here, Imperial"

 

[Sammothy]

Sam cursed under his breath, he knew what would happen. Stun gun and capture. "To be honest, I don't really know why. I guess I wanted to see a jedi battle, I've never actually seen one before. Sure I've seen jedi's attack rebels/stormtroopers but never jedi versus jedi." said Sam, he felt happy and sad at the same time, "Fine I'll surrender. Just don't taze me bro." laughed Sam as he held his hands out, waiting for handcuffs.

 

[Red]

'Ya did good kiddo'

Red continued to cry, she force grabbed all of the mans lightsabers, storing them in a satchel/purse. So many emotions were running through her head.. She didn't know what else to do, it was like crying was routine to her, this was a major reason why she cried ironic , the fact that she was crying, along with the reason to cry. Anyhow..She just sat there..
