Kyp the Mandalorian was scowling underneath his helmet. He never really cared much for the Pykes and to be on the homeworld in the heart of the Pyke Syndicate's base of operations made his fur stand up on edge. They were tricky beings and had often stiffed Kyp for credits when he'd done the occasional job for them. The only reason he was here was because, as much as he might despise most everyone in the galaxy, he had a soft spot in his heart for his fellow Mandalorains. They had been there when no one else was and it was only the request of a fellow Mandalorian that brought him here today.
Taldorak wasn't from Clan Vizsla but he was Mando and, these days, clan rivalries and wars had given way to unification. So, Kyp had accepted the invitation to come down here and kick some heads. He didn't quite know why Taldorak so desperately wanted to pick a fight with some Pykes but his years as a mercenary made him comfortable with keeping quiet and not asking too many questions. He waited at the predetermined meeting spot outside an abandoned warehouse in the heart of Oba Diah's major cities, drawing more than a couple stares from the mostly Pyke population.
