Just a few nit-picky notes. At 5'5", age 14, and 120 lbs, he's a fairly average height kid, and isn't striking the near underweight mark. I'm 5'10" and 117 lbs, for example; I'm underweight and probably the gangly weight you're aiming for. I'd go with 5'8"-5'10" and 105-110 lbs, just to "tower above others" and "be gangly".

Also, the kid seems quite precocious/mature for a 14 year old. He no doubt sucks up well to the others, but I imagine he doesn't get along well with people that like to skate on the fringes of policy, or people that don't abide by a moral code?

But I like the character, I think he's good work! Just mainly posting about the height and weight thing, since I was reading it and couldn't help but read "towering over others at 5'5"" and think "man, that's not that tall, my friend Jake was around that height at that age"

Oh, yeah. I actually just threw down a really ballpark figure and forgot to check up on it, so thanks for pointing that out! I'm not the best example, since I was about 5'11" (my current and permanent height) by fourteen or fifteen.
