For those of you who didn't already know, I've been quite preoccupied lately. I was trying to hold out for as long as I could because, with Jiang away, I was the only profile administrator left. I didn't want to leave the site in a tough spot, but I'm afraid it couldn't be helped. I've just got a lot on my plate at the moment and as much as it pains me, I can't fulfill my duties as an administrator, let alone conjure up the drive to role-play.

This community is precious to me and I truly love serving as an administrator here, but I've decided to resign my position rather than take a temporary leave of absence. I don't want any of you to see my admin tag and wonder why I have it if I'm never around. I don't want people to mistakenly send me requests for help and not get any, either.

I apologize to those of you who were counting on my support or participation, but this is something I have to do for my well being and that of my family. I wish you all the best and hopefully I'll be back again in the near future (because it is a known fact that no one can stay away from SWRP for long; it's just too damn addictive).

I remember having no real thoughts on Vencu becoming an administrator back when the idea was pitched on the Staff boards. Looking back on what he's done I think he was a damn good addition. Hopefully, when things settle down and if he is up to it he can return to his staff position.
