It was good to get out of Core.

Julia had long stopped considering Coruscant with that moniker; these days Raxus held the crown in her eyes. As CEO of one of the premier businesses in Imperial Space, she felt something of a moral obligation to hype up her new homeworld after all. Yet such a place was not ideal for hosting today's endeavour. She was set to meet a mercenary who had been identified to Imperial Czerka by their counter-intelligence department.

She'd read up on his file on the way here, and as she stepped out of her speeder, her HK droid standing behind her, she tossed the file back into the vehicle to the passenger seat and took in her surroundings. They stood in a large square, just off in the 'old quarter' of the town, ideal for them to meet outside and out of site.

"You've bought some sort of credentials, I hope?" she asked, as the figure she assumed to be her contact stepped into the square.

The armored frame that sorrounded the once-biological Gank made almost no noise as he moved through the crowds of the area. He was not necessarily tall, nor wide, but what made him stand out somewhat was the armor built into his enhancements and the glowing red of the optical sensors of his visor. He already had located the meet point some hours before he had to be there and he even already figured two or three places where the contact would be during the meeting. So he had decided to turn this from just a meeting into something a bit more... interesting. It would be practice.

About twenty to thirty meters out from the contact, Cheal reached up to one of the building to his side and activated his mag boots and gloves and began to scale upwards. This was an easy part, his mechanical frame easily scaling the wall as he leveled out on the rooves and deactivated the magnets. His helmet glared down at the court yard as he stalked along the rooves, his optical sensors zooming in on the contact below and noting the location. His gaze then raised to the building by her and zoomed into its roof and then the gaze drifted along the path he would have to cross to get there.

He made his journey quick yet quietly, his lithe armored frame low to the rooves below as he crossed them. He would have plenty of time after this excursion before he needed to actually be at the meet up, so he decided to take his time on the decent so not to even alert the HK droid to his presence. He was slow and methodical as his gloves and boots turned back on. Cheal's climb down the wall was as swift as it was quiet, yet he still stuck to being as stealthy as possible. The droid could have any sort of radar. The Gank borg wished to make a good first impression of his skills, so he did his best to try and make himself appear as a smaller rodent or bird on radar even if the droid had no such radar. The lights on his visor were out long before he even attempted this climb which would make him blend in more on the descent.

If the droid had a very finely tuned and majorly sensitive seismeter then they might have seen that the Gank finally landed on the ground. He slowly stalked in the alleyway he found before he turned the corner and found his contact. The glowing red lights of the sensors flashed on, being bright enough to be visible but not bright enough to be blinding. His frame was still crouched low, but if he was an assassin he would have certainly made his mark. Or been close to do so. He would slowly stand up and approached the droid and its master as he knew they would have noticed him by now.

You. Should. Stay. Under. A. Roof. | Makes. You. A. Harder. Target. The assassin signed, his hand movements fast enough not to make the signing too long but still slow enough to make sure the woman understood him. After that he raised his left arm and bent it parallel to his chest as his credentials flickered up as a holographic message. It was a long list slowly scrolling up and out of view, filled with bounties and contact information and job details. Even some of them had comments all of which praised the effectiveness of Cheal. Once the scrolling was finished he popped the data chip from his arm mounted projector and handed it to the woman with a nod. It even had his membership for not just the Bounty Hunters Guild but also Apex.

References. From. All. Living. Employers. Present. | Jobs. Organized. By. Employer. He signed again with the same speed as the other message he sent. He ensured there was a longer pause between the sentences so it was easier to understand. Even when he signed it seemed. Cheal was a man who cut right to the core and did not waste with much fluff. Yes he did just sneak around the area, but it gave him not just information on the layout but a bit of practice. And a way to show off his skills in person. If either being took the data chip he would lower his arms back to his sides as he awaited further communication.

Julia looked the cyborg up and down as he stepped into her field of vision, waving her bodyguard droid back as it tensed up. Indeed, the cybernetic man was a sight to behold, commanding a fearsome presence over the area. Unfortunately for all of them, she couldn't understand sign language, which made the entire exchange a little more complicated. Taking the identification documents when offered, she gestured for her droid to retrieve a protocol unit from the speeder.

Perhaps, rather foolishly, she had assumed a fully cybernetic bodyguard would have a vocabulator - how wrong she was.

"Very well." She ran through his documents, authenticating that he was who he claimed to be "There are thousands upon thousands of hired guns on this planet alone, millions across the space lanes. Why should we retain you?" she asked her first question, handing his identification back as she waited for his answer.

He stood there and repeated the signing to the protocol droid so it could relay the messages he spoke, before turning to the woman as she asked him the question he had been waiting for. The Gank nodded slowly as he pointed up to the rooves of the buildings. With a wave of his hand he slowly traced his route along them, before turning back to the woman ahead of him. He raised a hand to the left side of his head and pressed down an activation rune, where his larger red sensor projected down a recording. The scenery looked familiar yet from a different angle, and some of the subjects seemed rather familiar as well. Just from very far away.

The photage from the cyborg's perspective of his climb over the rooftops was tinged red, but was still very visible. His armored frame crouched low to the building below like a predator in weeds awaiting the best time to strike. He stalked the buisness lady there, turning to view her several times yet doing nothing. But each had enough time to have a weapon fired. Directly at her. It was clear what he was doing; he wasn't just practicing his climbing but he was there showing off just how out of the box he was. And how far he would go to get the shot.

None. Had. As. Many. Good. Shots. As. I. Had. There. He held no emotion in his frame or in how he made his hand motions. He was not proud and he was not boasting. It was a cold and calculated statement where he was simply pointing out that his tactics were unorthodox yet effective. He stood without motion beyond his signing, his frame like a statue as he wasted no energy. Effective, precise, and built superior to other mercenaries. Who get tired, or need certain standards to live, or have vices that would sway them away from constantly working. Yet here was not one of the cookie cutter mercenaries you'd find in a back water canteena. Here was a hunter-killer. Here was a born and bred killing machine, ready to serve and fight and kill. All for the right price, of course.
