Dropping his blaster and placing his hands on the back of his head, Kalo slowly turned around and lowered himself onto his knees. "I would like to negotiate the cessation of hostilities aboard my humble freighter." he said, looking the Rebel in the eyes. "I am willing to issue an order for my crew to surrender and call off the approaching reinforcements." he was careful to ignore mentioning his cargo in the negotiations-- hoping to salvage some of his pay no doubt.
The last bit about reinforcements was more of a formality than anything, but Kalo did seem to recall his datapad promising a surprise. "Whoever you are, my bosses knew you were coming, and I'm the only shot you've got at surviving this trap."
As Botan's death and Snegge's anger sounded over his earpiece, he maintained a calm stoic face. This mission was a bust. Without Snegge, Zeerya or Botan, Captain Kalo had lost any chance at turning the tables. There was nothing left to do but hope his enemies killed Snegge and took him prisoner.
