Promotion Application- Martha Ragnos

So, Martha Ragnos has applied for the promotion of her Acolyte Satsuki to the rank of Crusader. Instead of just casting votes on Skype, because I can't really be active enough on Skype to bang out a discussion there consistently, I thought I'd bring it here real quick.

My vote, at this time, is going to be no. My reasons are below:

Two Imperials- Unfinished
Taking Another Under the Wing- One page
It's Just One of Those Days- Unfinished
Way of the Sarlaac- Appears unfinished on her turn
Forge of Force- Unfinished
Imperial Gala- Purely social thread
Corrupted Matrix- Five posts, unfinished
Malice in Vulgarland- One page, appears unfinished, purely social
Amateurs Talk Strategy- Ongoing
Filthy Little Sith- Unfinished? Ongoing?
The Art of Defence- Unfinished
Of Sorcerers and Warriors- Ongoing
Ultimate Spear and Shield- Ongoing, doesn't even have a post in it as of this message

Everywhere I labeled unfinished was lacking a post from her on the last turn or clearly died from her no longer posting. Those threads are not the only ones that she has left unfinished. Those that are labeled as ongoing are recent and still unfinished, with no clear outcome or even sometimes no clear purpose. Other threads are just too short. She has a few social threads in there, which serve no purpose.

Taking away the threads that are unfinished, ongoing, or social, this leaves her with virtually no grounds for the promotion.

While I'm actually not one who thinks that our minimums are in any way perfect or need to be perfectly adhered to--- I don't think Martha is bringing anything to the table here with another potential Crusader in Satsuki. The threads are typically sparse, short, and meaningless.

Before I risk going on too long, I'll quit while I'm ahead. I've made my points pretty clear and welcome any additional opinions here. If we're pretty much agreed, I'll make the reply myself.

It does appear she needs more work done for Satsuki. A common goal I've found with members is they hope to get to Crusader/Knight, as it gives the feel they've breached the first wall and can now do things outside training. Martha's been here a while so feelings of stuck in training aren't an issue; the social threads supply that. She also has a Crusader, Satoryu, so there is no excuse not to focus on fleshing out Satsuki more.

One suggestion we can give to Satsuki is to work on training and sticking to it. She has a tendency to drop out in the middle of things. I also would like to see more missions. There's plenty of options available. Martha has shown she wants to try to be useful to the faction such as suggesting mission ideas, but I would like see more work from her and constant work, rather than periodic work. It's not fair to other members that they work to try to help her in training or missions only to abandon it, wasting everyone's time.

For now, I agree with Omnis and vote no. If she wants to show she can keep up with things, I recommend she focus and show that with Satoryu, her Crusader, who could be helping other Acolytes.
