What most people knew about Hypori could be written on the back of a post-it note with enough room left over to write down the Jedi Code in it's entirety. What Carrick knew about Hypori could fill most of a datapad screen and that was before he had done some more research on the planet when he had decided that the ISC could do with adding the planet to their lovely collective. In the end what brought the ISC to Hypori was both what the planet had to give and where it was located - they were both just as important as far as Carrick was concerned.
How his fellow ISC politicians would view the planet was likely down to what they saw in it.
Carrick, for example, saw the potential in the droid factories that had been shut down after the end of the Clone Wars but never officially dismantled entirely. They had been allowed to continue to operate so long as Imperial officers could monitor them to ensure there was no possibility of battledroids being made - of course the Empire was gone and the ISC had need of battledroids and utility droids alike.
Another thing he rather liked about the planet was visible from the window as his ship came in to land on one of the landing pads of the capital city: the colossal ship graveyard that made up a large section of the planet. It meant that Hypori had a huge amount of military grade scrap metal and a thriving industry of melting it down and reforging it into usable metals once again.
As the ship came into land, Carrick straightened his suit and turned to his colleague.
"How do I look? Professional but not Imperial, right?"
First impressions counted after all.
