BIOGRAPHY
Officially styled as ‘His Royal Highness, Prince Galek of the House Ordalos’, Galek was born the eldest son of the third brother of the incumbent Queen of Indupar, during the Force Eternal Era.
From a young age, Galek struggled with the fact that he was bound to be overshadowed by the rest of his kin. Having been born a relatively distant branch of the royal dynasty and far removed from the line of succession, he was largely considered to be a fringe member of the family, and thus, while the prince lived a life of privilege and endless resources at his fingertips, he lacked any real prospects of his own. Despite numerous efforts to gain his approval, the prince was even shunned by his own father, who believed the boy to be a weakling due to his poor health as child and largely pacificist nature.
Spurned by his own family and determined to find success based on his own merits, Galek spent a great deal of his adolescence living abroad, separated from cutthroat politics and ruthless courtlife of Indupar in hopes of pursuing the finest education money could buy. As a student, he divided his time between Naboo and Chandrila, studying as a part of the Legislative Youth Program - an experience which was monumental in sparking his love for politics and setting him eventually career. As an adult, he would later go on to study at Theed University on Naboo, graduating with an advanced degree in political science and public policy.
Upon graduation, Galek spent a two years serving as a legislative aide to various senatorial offices before finally returning home at the age of twenty-five. Met with mixed by his family upon his return, Galek was given a relatively unimportant position as administrator of one of Indupar’s rural provinces – a position befitting his birth but without any real influence where he would eventually fade into obscurity. Much to the surprise of his peers, rather than fading into the irrelevant bureaucracy, it was in this position that Galek was able to truly excel and make a name for himself. His leadership saw the expulsion of many of the corrupt elements within the provincial government - holdovers from decades of previous administrations – while succeeding in implementing policies to increase agricultural output within his province.
Impressed by his abrupt and unexpected successes as a lowly administrator, Galek was re-assigned to the Induparan capital of Dahonis City to serve as a member of his aunt’s court, working diligently within the central government of Indupar. Most recently, he has been appointed to serve as planetary Governor, where he now represents Indupar when engaging with the rest of the galaxy.

Skills
As a lifelong politician, Galek’s skills are unsurprisingly best suited for the diplomacy table rather than the battlefield. He is a skillful negotiator and diplomat, one who has often been credited by his peers as being able to come to middle-ground solutions that leave both parties satisfied by the end. His charismatic and gregarious demeanor allows him to befriend and schmooze others with deft efficiency - a skill which has allowed him to maneuver the bureaucracy of his homeworld both as a provincial administrator and now as Governor.
While far from the galaxies finest fighter, Galek has nonetheless received some combat training over the course of his life. He is trained in the rudimentary basics of hand-to-hand combat, and admittedly isn't half-bad with a blaster pistol either. While a pacifist at heart, it would not be uncommon to find the prince with a standard pistol or vibro-blade strapped to his waist whenever he was out and about.
