Four Acolytes embark on their journey to acquaint themselves and to assist each other in attaining some light saber crystals.
Participants: Aubrey Fox, Rook Xeyphos, Yusanis Dar'sen, and Pol Von.
Rook plays with the hilt of his saber staff, training saber. He was genuinely interested in the events currently going on, but he didn't quite agree with how he'd ended up here. unfortunately, for some unknown reason, he was compelled to comply with any older Sith. Whoever this Sith was, had set up countless training sessions, spars, and even little adventures like this for Rook. Rook couldn't say he didn't enjoy thins like this, but he didn't like the fact that it wasn't his idea that placed him on this ship.
Whatever...
Rook didn't really care what he did today anyway, It's not like he had anything planned anyway. He seemed to resort to the same things day after day. The adventure would not only satisfy the deep down craving for entertainment he's been hoping for, and it gets him a crystal for his own light saber... If he can only get his training saber open, that is.
A few minutes of fumbling caused him to completely forget about the young girl sitting next to him. Aubrey. Rook didn't know whether or not she felt strongly, one way or another, regarding his presence here. It didn't feel like she had much of a choice judging the way Rook was told he had to attend her little excursion.
Rook's fingers slip off the edge of the hilt, causing him to jam it into something that hurt. With a sigh, Rook gave up the task and turned to Aubrey, "Crystals eh?"
Rook didn't really think this through before hand, and so his attempt to converse stopped there, allowing her to laugh at him or make an equally awkward attempt to talk to him in response.
Finally, it came to him, "Um. What kind of crystal are you after then?"
Rook, feeling satisfied that he'd managed to spit something comprehensible out, figured that his job was done in an attempt to converse. They weren't alone on the ship, and so Rook hoped that the others would be able to step in, and take over for him, while he returned to fumbling about his training saber.
They too figured they'd be able to tag along and grab a crystal as well. The girl was generous enough using credits that she'd inexplicably come across to rent this ship in the first place. To spend more credits on the cost of fuels it would take to hop from planet to planet, picking up crystals for each of these guys is something beyond Rook. He figures that she must be swimming in credits to be able to afford a freighter like this, let alone the additional expenses of travel. The fuels, the docking permits, food (or so Rook hoped).
Rook was an orphan, and so he had no right to any credits, that he knew of anyway. That being said, whatever allowances Rook attained were a gift that should be prized. Granted, Rook could care less whether someone else paid for him. He'd find a way to feed himself, and if he recalls, the ship they rented came stocked with some food already. If the trip was long enough, he'd just dip in. Hopefully it wasn't nearly as expensive as the minibars in hotels.
Only just then did Rook realize just how extensive the trip would be; just how much effort he'd have to put toward the benefit of others. It wasn't something Rook was used to, but it was something he was willing to do, if it meant getting out for a while.
