TBH, does this really need to drag out for another week? Mia's utterly boned - if she gets out of the hanger, AA guns shoot her down. If she evades them, the Bogan fleet shoots her down. And they're attacking us with a couple of underpowered pea-shooter ships that we can run circles around.

Let's just save everyone time and effort. I'm going to vote for Weiss to just auto-resolve this now, since it's pretty clear cut already. Silent Wind, Prudii: Thoughts?
I vote no. If I can try to get my PC out, I will.

I'm still waiting for a write up of those AA defenses this facility has? Because I don't see them on that writeup you sent.

I noticed. I was asking Dmitri a question.
EDIT: alright..

"So when are you going to make the edits that need to be made to be in accordance with dmitri"-Prudii
[10:55:27 PM] Silent Wind.84: I will be posting in OOC chat
[10:55:32 PM] Silent Wind.84: but I agree with Dmitri's ruling
[10:56:13 PM] Silent Wind.84: I don't think I need to edit it though since he pretty much ruled on my actions so I think Boli should post, then you.
[10:56:33 PM] Prudii Actually it's my post next
[10:56:38 PM] Prudii: Boli posts after ms.
[10:56:39 PM] Prudii: Me
[10:56:43 PM] Prudii: And he ruled with me
[10:56:58 PM] Silent Wind.84: he also ruled on my actions in the post
[10:57:07 PM] Silent Wind.84: for instance
[10:57:14 PM] Silent Wind.84: the Dark Jedi Masters stopping Mia thing
[10:57:23 PM] Silent Wind.84: you would reach the hangar is what I beleive he stated
[10:57:27 PM] Silent Wind.84: I'll reread the ruling
[11:20:29 PM] Silent Wind.84: Yeah, I don't think I need to edit.
Except that you do.-prudii
Not really. The ball is in your court. You need to post.-Me
Not until I'm comfortable. I'm waiting on dmjtri go reply to my question. You can stop telling me what I need to do-Prudii
[11:22:02 PM] Silent Wind.84: Your the one that is stating that I need to edit
[11:22:03 PM] Silent Wind.84: when I don't
[11:22:21 PM] Silent Wind.84: I believe it is your turn to post

It honestly looks like you are complaining for no reason.

So you post transcripts of our Skype chat here for...? Dmitri has said you didn't need to edit, I noted that you didn't need to edit.

I'm asking Boli for a writeup of those defenses. And I'm sorry, but I don't think you can start a thread like this, try to kill my PC, and when I fight back, beg for an admin to rule on it so that there is 0 chance I'll survive.

If I gave you false hope, I sincerely apologize. You've been written in a corner, unfortunately. My ruling was not stating that you can escape. It effectively said that you aren't automatically defeated, but rather you get to choose when you are defeated. I shall not resolve the thread at this time, as to allow Prudii to determine if Mia shall surrender or make a last stand.

Another issue with auto-resolving right now is the fact that an armada is coming. The armada realistically will not be able to reach Mia in time to save her. The problem is that realistically as well is that Keywork is majorly outgunned and outmanned, and unlikely to come out of the battle well, but I am hesitant to make a ruling on a fight that has not even started yet (though by Prudii's last post has stated it will occur).

I'm using - as I have consistently done for the Bogan - the assets of Sluis Van on conjunction with the Bogan's own forces. Sluis Van, according to Wookiee (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sluis_Van), was fortified as a fortress world during the Imperial era (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Fortress_world). Descriptions vary on what a fortress world entails - anywhere from a large fleet to orbital defences and groundside emplacements, so I defaulted to the most basic one, which is your good old fashioned AA guns.

I mean, if the rest of the staff really have a problem with that, I can always just park a couple of Golan platforms in orbit instead. ;)

I would be open to surrender if I could be ensured her survival.

No. There will be no OOC conditions for IC surrender. That is not how this works.

I think what Weiss means is that there's no way the admins can enforce that Mia survives. It ultimately boils down to a gentleman's agreement between the parties involved (ie yourself and Silent Wind)

That's what I meant. I wasn't thinking I could get an arrangement where if he violates he'd get punished or anything. I'm just looking for me and Silent to come to an agreement. I don't want her to die.

Will Keywork continue its attack?

They're already in hyperspace, it's kind of hard to stop now, isn't it?
That is true. The post already has them on the way.

Prudii, you have a choice. You can either have the Keywork armada surrender when it arrives (having realized it's extremely outgunned), allow it to be defeated in an auto-resolve (if you are okay with it), or write out the naval engagement, which in likelihood will be short.

I choose the final option.

And to clarify since there appears to have been some miscommunication, when I was referring to those three options, Mia's escape was not part of it. I was not guaranteeing Mia's escape from the planet. She still is pretty much screwed.

I'll attempt to get them out of there ASAP, but what's surrendering them going to do? Give the Bogan's something to add to their armada? Give the rebels something? Let them reverse engineer? If I could drop them out of Hyperspace and turn them around I would, but I can't. So do you have an option that doesn't involve me losing those ships?

Realistically the moment you decided to jump in your force to attack a key Bogan world, they were doomed.

Pretty much there isn't any. You wrote yourself into a corner. Your NPC diplomats lied that caused the Bogan to feel betrayed and led them to pre-emptively betray you. You attempted to run rather than surrender. And you wrote half (is it half, I think I read something about half the Keywork naval forces coming) the Keywork naval forces going to Sluis Van to attack it, with no one prompting you to attack a heavily fortified fortress world.
