Tak did not especially like the White Sith. He much preferred other Species, especially his own own kind, Sith Purebloods. Today he was to verse another Human. The Imperium ha a lot of humans. As he entered the building, he noticed all the details. It was a large Stadium with no glass or hazardous materials, it had a dirt floor and no roof. As Tak took a step foward, Tak bowed, as it was tradition. He did his hand movement, meaning that the opponent can attack first.

He had researched his enemy thoroughly this time around. It seemed they where evenly matched Intelligence-wise.

Cassus had entered the chamber shortly before Tak. He'd heard some stuff about this acolyte. Tak Denekyn, a Sith Pureblood and acolyte of the Academy. He was said to be quite the arrogant one and a bit of a show-off. If this was true, it could be used against him.

The Pureblood entered the room shortly after Cassus himself entered. Tak stood a few inches taller than Cassus and was clearly well-built. Probably an aspiring warrior. As the acolyte bowed, Cassus gave a curt nod, but didn't bow. It was a form of submission, a humiliation he'd learnt not to lower himself to.

The acolyte pulled a crimson blade from his belt, brandishing it to his side. Despite the Sith giving him a motion to come at him, Cassus didn't attack immediately. No, he'd examine his opponent. If this Tak was as much of a show-off as the acolytes made him out to be, he'd soon get impatient--and then he could be thrown off balance.

((He's not arrogant. Well, he is as much as a normal person is.))

Tak waited for the enemy, Cassus to attack. But he didn't. He didn't even acknowledge tradition... he will never make it up to the top. He took this valuable time to analyze the opponent to search for weaknesses to use and strengths to avoid. It was working. He appeared around 35, maybe younger. His stance showed that Inteligence was his strong point, why he didn't attack, to analyze.Interesting. "It is tradition. Your move first."

((Yeah, but I'm just writing from Cassus's perspective of things.))

Although the Pureblood didn't react exactly how Cassus expected, the acolyte was partially correct. Tak was impatient, and clearly quite stubborn. Clearly this duel wasn't going to commence until Cassus made the attack. He would accommodate him.

Twirling his blade, the acolye raised it into the air and brought it down hard toward Tak. It was a simple move, easy enough to block. Cassus wasn't going for fancy and lethal moves just yet. After all, where would be the fun in that?

((It is others' perspectives, maybe his rendition of it. Also I stated the Arena was large, so I'll assume he came up to Tak.))

He drew his Double-ended lightsaber and split it in two. Interesting. Very much so. Cassus's move was easily enough blocked by a horizontal unmoving move of his left lightsaber. Then with his right lightsaber he hit a hard fast horizontal strike from left to right to Cassus's ribs. Then he would spin around quickly and try to hit Cassus's neck area with both lightsabers. Then Tak would send a stream of golden Lightning his way.

As fast as Tak attacked, Cassus drew a second lightsaber from his belt, successfully blocking both strikes from the different directions. He was just about to go in for an offense as a stream of lightning was sent toward him. Growling to himself, he jumped in the air just in time to avoid it, landing behind the Pureblood.

The acolyte had been hoping not to have to use the second lightsaber. After all, he preferred single blade combat, even though his training under Grima gave him somewhat of a basic understanding of dual lightsaber combat. However, with Tak using dual bladed combat, Cassus would need the advantage.

While behind his opponent, Cassus had the advantage. He quickly went in to strike from behind with both sabers.

"Good strategy. It won't work."
Tak saw as Cassus blocked all of his attacks. This would be harder then Tak thought. As Cassus jumped over him, Tak turned, ready to counter or dodge any attack. He blocked both Lightsabers with his left lightsaber, while the right one did a quick stabbing motion to Cassus's guts.

((You didn't specify what your attack was exactly, so I guessed.))

Their sabers clashed. For a moment, it seemed like they were at a standstill. Then Cassus noticed that Tak was missing his right saber.

Immediately, Cassus knew that it wasn't missing, but that the Pureblood was moving in for an attack with his lightsaber. He looked to his left to see his suspicions confirmed. The acolyte pulled his offhand blade away from the clashing lightsabers, causing it to smack Tak's saber off course. Thanks to this, Cassus was spared.

The Sith pulled back. He raised his left hand toward his foe. Although he still gripped with left hilt with his thumb, he raised his other four fingers, sending Sith lightning at him.
