"New profile posts" Tab

Is there a way to turn this off? I wasn't sure where to post this question. But all the GIFs that people post there really lags my internet so I can barely use the site. A way to turn the tab off would be excellent!

If you're running adblock software you can remove it by it adding thestarwarsrp.com##.profilePostListItem

As far as I can tell it doesn't adversely affect any other portion of the site, profile messages still display on a user's page, and on the New Profile Posts page.
