Open Neon Lights and Dead Batteries

[Maura Starwalk]

"Oh it's okay, Dim gave me one earlier," Maura explained as she gestured over to the bar. "It's charging over there, under the shelves. Actually- " Maura turned to look in that direction too, her black eyes glancing past where the group of guys had begun to congregate. "It's probably done charging now."

And if her datapad was all juiced up, she didn't have any reason to stay, especially since both Siggy and Lia seemed into the idea of bouncing and getting their hair dyed.

"Why don't I go grab it and then we bounce?" she suggested, looking between him and Lia. (@Xorism @LadyRen) "An adventure with friends?" she offered to Siggy as she began to take a few steps back toward the bar. "It's not like there's anything to do here except dance anyways," she added to herself. She wasn't sure if she liked the way the alcohol she'd drunk made her feel woozy, and she had no interest in the skin-to-skin dancing half the room seemed to be into.

"Hey Dim!" she greeted the green-skinned padawan when she arrived at the bar (@Scoobert). There was a slight slur in her voice, and the usually nimble padawan seemed to be making very deliberate steps. "Thanks for letting me use your charger," she continued as she slipped back behind the bar and unplugged the pack from the outlet. She ducked back out before the bartender could grumble at her again, then handed it back to him. As quickly as she came, she squeezed back into the crowd, heading back to find Siggy and Lia.

The basses were still puonding in her ears, continuing to dance rather casually and following the conversation she was still in. Their little group had gotten a little scattered, but that wasn't too bad. Ciri was still rather close and so she danced her way towards her, taking her hand and pulling her closer as she excitedly asked her, "ARE YOU COMING WITH US? WE ALL WANT TO DYE OUR HAIR!" (@Wit).

She was still close enough to Maura ans Siggy, so that she heard what they were saying and immediately strongly nodded her head. "Yes!! Let's goooo" she replied to Maura, waving her hands in the air for a moment before she grabbed Siggy's and Ciri's hands.

And so Lia happily followed Maura, pulling Siggy (@Xorism) and Ciri (@Wit) with her if none of them resisted and danced through the crowd until the two, three or four of them reached Dim. "Oh, awesome, you're still here, too!" She greeted him (@Scoobert) cheerfully, her hips still swinging to the music while this hair dyeing idea developed further and further in her mind.

"Oooh Dim! As you're still here, you can come with us, too! Maura will dye ours and we can dye hers! But before that, we go adventuring!", she excitedly explained, her eyes wide as she expectantly glanced at her friend. This one little shot already took its toll by making Lia completely carefree and adventurous enough to just start their little tour without a set destination.

Siggy smiled then shrugged, "Oh so that's what you were doing back there." So she wasn't off the clock working behind the bar, or as he'd also considered, the mastermind behind the whole party. The Deucalian found himself quickly pulled off in tow behind Lia, heading towards where Maura wandered off. Spotting another family face (@Scoobert), Siggy quickly came up beside him also.

Seeing the state that he was in, Siggy turned to Lia. "I don't know if he'd be able to make it! Of course, you're still welcome if you want Dim, but we gotta get moving!" Motioning back to Maura, that he was coming. "Well, maybe one more for the road."

Siggy ordered a last-minute shot from the bartender, laying down the credits and swiping it back in one go. The alcohol burnt its way down and that would be enough for him to finish for the night. "Alright who wants to be pink!" he said, tipsily giggling as he started to make his way towards Maura.

He'd follow along with Liana (@LadyRen) and Maura (@lizziie) on some new adventure, wherever that may have led.

[Ferrin Sipal]

Ferrin was hoping that the other Padawan would take a hint and make a speedy exit - allowing the Pantoran to continue flirting with Ezra. Much to his disappointment, it didn’t appear that was going to happen any time soon - as Dash instead started striking up conversation.

His brows furrowed together at once, immediately recognizing the politely-veiled barb that was lodged his way. The Pantoran hummed smiled a bit in response, though there was little warmth to it. Ferrin could practically feel Ezra trying to melt into the floor, or otherwise fade from notice by remaining very still and quiet. As if he wasn’t the unwitting source of the tension.

“I can imagine,” He said smoothly, “Almost as bad as the ones who no concept of how to dress,” Ferrin’s eyes briefly flicked down to Dash’s vest and then back up - opting to leave it there, and for the other Padawan to put the dots together.

He threw back another shot, glancing over to see what Ezra had to say - assuming the quarter-Sephi didn’t dematerialize before their very eyes. “I’m glad either way, lot more fun since he did.” Ferrin grinned, reaching over to nudge Ezra a bit. “Besides. Not all Padawan trips have to be snoozefests.”

[Maura Starwalk]

Maura was unsure of whether or not she wanted her own hair dyed, especially when she was trying to grow out the old damaged hair first. "Temporary dye shouldn't be a problem though, right?"

"Alright, let's go find a corner store!" she declared to the group following her, leading them outside into the rainy Zeltron night.

[Ezra Thorne]

Ezra almost choked on his drink when he heard the darts being thrown between the two teens. What the hell was going on between them? Was there some history there? He eyed them curiously, delightfully oblivious to the fact that he was likely the cause of the tension. When Dash addressed him again, he simply scoffed, “I was out here for a good time. Seems you Jedi are drawn to me like a magnet wherever I go,” He said with the hint of a slur to his words.

He felt Ferrin nudge him and he glanced over at Dash. Between their body language and the verbal jabs, those two definitely had a history. Ezra hiccuped as the drinks began to get to him, “Look, you’re both very pretty,” He said as he took a step backwards, “Now about you let me see you move?” He said with a half grin.

Ezra finally had enough drinks in him to let loose and get back into the dance floor. Regardless of whether or not the other teens joined, he began to sway and move again. His movements were fluid and relaxed, rocking to the rhythm of the song.

[Dimetri Unduli]

Dimetri nodded as Dash waltzed off to go speak with thing one and thing two by the bar. It was his loss on the spice, the Mirialan would just enjoy himself instead but seemed Lia had a little different idea than that. She invited Dimetri to come dye his hair with the others, and of course Dimetri would accept. Everything sounds more fun with enough alcohol.

"Yeah! Lead the way." Dimetri would drunkenly walk with them stumbling ever so slightly to make it with them to get the products and then get to the dying of the hair. He wondered what color he'd get. Blue? Green? White? Ah he'd have to figure it out when the time comes, Maura usually gets them all so maybe he could piggy back what she got. Though he wouldn't want the rainbow hair, only she could pull that look off.

[Liana Mason]

"Ooh yay, the more the merrier!!" She exclaimed happy again, thus citing one of her favorite quotes and doing a little, excited happy dance before she turned to leave. Maura (@lizziie) had her phone, so she was ready, too, Siggy (@Xorism) was down and Dim(@Scoobert) had just agreed to join them. She didn't know whether her best friend Ciri (@Wit) was coming, too, but she was dearly hoping she would.

She didn't quite understood why, but Dimetri was rather zigzagging through the warehouse and so she hooked arms with him to prevent him from staggering too much or even toppling over. Maybe he found it funny or saw that as a game, but she found it funny anyway.

[Dash Pavan]

Dash could have let the fashion comment go over his head. He was confident in his own style. Ferrin's (@Altaris ) outfit was truthfully pretty damn suave anyway. Not that he was going to tell him that now. Ever.

The grin and the nudge were over the top. The backhanded trashing of he and Ezra's Kashyyyk trip, well that was too much.

"I haven't seen you on any trips" Dash said, feigning a confused look "they must be the ones no one talks about". A cold fire stirred in his gut, but he tried to dampen it, focusing on Ezra's familiar voice.

Drawn to me? Surely he couldn't actually know about the thoughts Dash had been having since Kashyyyk. He had literally told no one. You Jedi? You mean this guy was also potentially- Then Ezra said they were both pretty and Dash had put his drink to his lips to steady his expression.

He'd spent way too long thinking about doing something. He realised that now. He had to take a leap, or someone else would. But he was not going to look desperate in front of Ferrin.

"Gotta get back to my Zeltron friends over there" he said, trying to find his smile again as he looked at Ezra (@Sreeya ) "but I'll definitely see you around". He gave Ferrin a curt glance "Laters" and made to walk away.

 

[Ferrin Sipal]

Ferrin didn’t even attempt to hide the smile that brushed against his lips, offering Dash a small little wave as the other Padawan made an exit from the scene. It was nothing personal - okay, it was definitely a little personal - but the Pantoran was more than happy to go right back to flirting with Ezra now that they were left alone. He threw back the last remaining shot he had, happily making his way to join Ezra on the dancefloor once again.

It didn’t take long for the Pantoran to reach him once again - his hips swaying and grooving lightly to the music. It was far from graceful or fluid, but his limbs swung significantly less than they normally did. He didn’t hesitate to extend a hand to Ezra, pulling the quarter-Sephi to dance close against him - positioned with the quarter-Sephi's back against his chest this time around.

He felt a healthy buzz in his system, and it left the Pantoran far more bold than usual. He couldn’t help but recall their earlier flirting. a grin working its way onto his lips.

Ferrin leaned in close, whispering to Ezra low enough that only he could hear. “Still interested in seeing if I can make it worth your time?” He said, hand trailing down to run across the quarter-Sephi’s hip and squeeze. He glanced back towards a few closet doors at the far end of the warehouse, flashing Ezra a grin.

[Ezra Thorne]

Ezra blinked a few times, vaguely aware of Dash abruptly leaving. His silver gaze followed the teen even as Ferrin walked back towards him. He felt an inexplicable pang of disappointment and he couldn’t place it whatsoever. It made no sense and it nagged at the back of his mind. However it was soon brushed aside as Ferrin took his hands and began to dance. He was spun around as he felt Ferrin dance behind him. Ezra was surprised by the gesture, always the one standing in the back due to his height. Ferrin’s grip on him sent jolts of desire through him, amplified by the several shots they both took. He couldn’t deny he enjoyed this change up, looking over his shoulder as the Pantoran spoke.

Ezra followed his gaze towards the several discreet rooms to disappear into. After all, he had seen Ferrin’s excellent lockpicking skills before. He turned to look at Ferrin again, his gaze briefly flicking past him towards where Dash was no longer there and had faded into the crowd. Ezra threw back his drink, grabbed Ferrin by the hand, and dragged him towards the nearest room.
