[Maura Starwalk]

Maura giggled as she danced and worked taking the shot Ciri had distributed into it, isolating her arm movements as she pretended to be a robot. The laughter on her face was replaced with a flash of disgust as the alcohol went down. "People really drink this for fun?" It suddenly dawned on her that she had spent the whole time here only drinking things that were offered to her. Maybe she should start declining?

Before she could think about it too much, Siggy pulled out his phone and asked if she wanted to make a TokTik. "Sure! You ready?" She waited for him to give her the signal, and she started the dance over, putting more energy into it than before. She was laughing again by the end, especially when Dash did his 'Dash slide' in. "I love it!" she laughed, mimicking his precarious, surfer-like arms until Liana started getting down with some new moves.

"Holy shit! You play Swortnite too?" Maura immediately began doing one of her favorite dances from the game, careful not to crease her sneakers while she was at it. "Dude, we totally have to play sometime! I got a console for my birthday!" (@LadyRen)

But back to the topic of dyed hair, because there was no way she was letting that idea slip by. "You would totally rock pink hair! Like bubblegum!" she declared, then turned to briefly study Dash. "Dash... definitely blue, but like a light blue. It would look perfect with your blue eyes! And you're both blonde! This is perfect!" No bleach would make the process even easier.

"We should totally go tonight after the party!" she said with a mischievous sparkle in her black eyes. Maura had really only planned to stick around long enough for her datapad to charge, but she wouldn't drag her away now. Not in the middle of their dance battle! "Maybe the others would want to come too? I might need a little help if there are too many people though!"

Once Siggy was done messing with his phone, Maura would grab his wrist - whichever wasn't holding his phone - and look him in the eye with an encouraging smile. "You should come too!" He was the only one here who didn't look at least a little familiar, minus the other guy Maura thought was Ciri's date. "You'd look good with dark red... maybe a fun peekaboo color! I can do anything!"

 

[Yasmine Veliki]

Given that her graduation was coming soon, she wanted to celebrate the occasion. Going out with some of her academy friends, Yasmine was bar hopping and club hopping most of the night. She dressed is a super cute outfit she had set in her closet a week prior, topped off with some thigh high boots. She was having the time of her life on Zeltros, when one of her friends had spoke up, "Hey I found out about some warehouse party down the block, do you guys wanna check it out?" Yasmine, with a decent amount of alcohol in her system, would speak up quickly, "Uhhh yuh! Let's get it!"

So of course they would all start making their way down and when they got outside of it, Yasmine just started laughing at the building, "It's actually a warehouse! That's amaaaazziiiing!" Her friends would just giggle as they all walked in and saw the neon light like the other clubs and heard the very different music playing. It had a fun vibe, and Yasmine was ready to tear it up on the dancefloor.

"SO! We gonna dance or what?" She would start pull her friends out to the middle of the dancefloor surrounded by the multitude of people and begin moving her body in rhythm to the music, laughing and having as good a time as she could. She hadn't known anyone here, which made this so much better. She could let loose and just be herself.

 

[Dash Pavan]

Dash started to feel a little clearer as he danced with Lia and Maura. The swapping around and interacting wasn't quite so mindless as the routine he'd been doing with the Zeltrons and there was probably something to be said for being outside of their pheromones. He was still drunk, unquestionably, but he didn't feel quite so zoned out.

But then he saw Ezra (@Sreeya ) dancing with Fez - hang on it was Ferrin, yes Ferrin (@Altaris ) - over the other side of the dancefloor. It wasn't really Ezra of course; this guy had purple hair, so just someone who looked a lot like him. Unless Dash was still quite off his head, in which case perhaps there was no resemblance at all.

But there really was though, wasn't there? "That guy is pretty hot" he blurted out to Lia (@LadyRen ) pointing at the purple-haired guy "what's his name?".

It had to be someone else. Dash has thought about Ezra enough to know he certainly didn't have purple hair.

 

[Liana Mason]

So Maura played Swortnite, too?!?! How absolutely fantastic!! "You got a console?? We absolutely have to do that and ooooh my! Your dance was absolutely awesome! This must have taken weeks to become this good with it! It's one of the most complicated dances after all!" she excitedly beemed at Maura (@lizziie), her voice high from all the excitement and still blaring over the music and all the background chatter. "My Gamertag is SugarLia222 - the S and L capitalized, no spaces". Was it necessary to share such information right on the dancefloor? Oh yes, Liana thought so!

"Bubblegum pink!" she blurted out, her eyes widened further in absolutely excitement, "absolutely! And yes! Dash would totally shine with light blue oooor I could also see him with purple, perhaps just like Reed!" (@Alhon), she continued, not knowing that Dash ans Reed had history. "We are sooo doing it tonight!" she lastly confirmed, flashing both Dash and Maura a happy grin.

She kept switching between different dances, seemingly never running out of breath before Dash was suddenly directing her attention back to the purple haired hottie. She immediately started giggling, cheeks turning bright red while she was just hoping the colorful lights would hide it enough. She leaned closer to Dash, synchronizing her movements with him as she yelled back at him, "Ohhh I know riiight! He's super cute. His name is Reed!". Oh no...was Dash interested in him, too? The one shot had already made her more confident, so perhaps another one would be enough to make her dance closer with him for a little while...Maybe she had go hurry to shoot her shot!

 

[Sigtryggr Thorite]

A wide smile crest Siggy's face as Maura agreed, promptly lifting his phone up to record. "Go for it!" he giggled, taking care to fully capture both the movements and vibe of the dance. It wasn't super easy to manage but he did his best, managing to even capture Dash's slide making it go from an awesome Toktik to the BEST! @lizziie @Alhon

But what dance battle would be complete without a strong competitor? The camera now turned to Liana @LadyRen and filmed her epic dance moves. He couldn't tell who had the best moves in the battle, it was a strong match and both proved fierce opponents. As he stood there staring down at the recordings, he started to edit them a little, adding the perfect soundtrack and more.

The edited version would show their best moves, cutting between them as if they were responding directly to each other with more and more intense until it cut to Dash's epic finisher. Smiling proudly at his creation, he uploaded the video, tagging the participants with several OMG and smiley emojis to boot. #newfriends

"Maura, Maura check it out, you guys looked so epic on the dance floor!" Siggy exclaimed excitedly, as she pulled him into the small gathering. "Sure that would be awesome! I've never had my hair dyed before, does it last forever?" as a man™ and heroic warrior, Siggy wasn't afraid to try new things. The more adventurous, the better, he thought.

Realizing that he'd only briefly spoken with Maura before, he felt a little rude not introducing himself to the others with a heartfelt smile. "Hi I'm Sigtryggr but everyone calls me Siggy! What are the odds that we walk into three other blonds on the dance floor right?!"

In recent years he'd had to struggle for everything he had gotten, and it was easy to forget that he was still a teen. It was nice to be able to have fun and not be worrying about danger at every turn for once.

[Maura Starwalk]

"SugarLia222. S capitalized, L capitalized, no spaces," Maura repeated after Liana, her brows furrowed in concentration. She would do her best to remember, but when she turned to watch the video Siggy wanted to show her, she immediately forgot about it. Lia would have to remind her again later.

"Oh wow! You did that just now?" she exclaimed, surprised to see such a well-edited video done so quickly. "I'm impressed!" Maura would watch it a few more times, then pull her eyes away to answer his question about the hair dye.

"Nope! I mean, even permanent hair dye will grow out eventually," she said as she pointed to her own grown-out hair. Since she'd cut off nearly seven inches, only the red and orange remained on about half of her hair, minus her padawan braid (which was still colorful). "But we could also do temporary dye! It'll wash out eventually," she added. "But the best part about already having blonde hair is that you won't need bleach for the color to be bright! Bleach is what really damages the hair. That's why- "

Maura rambled on for another minute or so, completely distracted from her and Lia's ongoing dance battle. So while Lia and Dash gushed over Ezra, she was occupied info dumping to Siggy. She was already talkative, and the alcohol wasn't making that any less prevalent of a personality trait.

"Sigtryggr!" she repeated after he properly introduced himself, doing her best to mimic the pronunciation of it, and mostly getting it right minus the slight slur in her words. "I'm Maura!" she gave in return. Upon realizing she had actually already introduced herself earlier, she laughed at her own forgetfulness. "Wait, I already said that!" Oh well. As long as she didn't forget her datapad here, she wasn't bothered by it.

"Are you from Zeltros?" she questioned, suddenly very interested in getting to know the man.

[Ferrin Sipal]

Ferrin couldn’t help but sigh audibly, staring blankly in response to the vitriol from Dimetri. While the Mirialan clearly allowed his emotions and personal attachments to guide him, the Pantoran wasn’t about to allow things to evolve into a fight to ruin the night for everyone. He didn’t dignify anything Dimetri said with a response, and fortunately the Mirialan didn’t stick around long enough for it to be much of an issue.

Instead, Ferrin flicked his attention over to Ciri - flashing the fellow Padawan a small smile as the shots she presented. “Thanks,” He didn’t hesitate to throw back one of the drinks, feeling a bit of heat rise up in his face at once. He didn’t hesitate to make his way back onto the dancefloor, once again beginning his flailing routine.

That was, of course, until Ezra appeared from the crowd of people - taking hold of his hands. Ferrin couldn’t mask the look of surprise that briefly appeared across his expression, a smile tugging ever-so-slightly at his lips. Slowly but surely, the Pantoran began to move and sway - far from graceful, but a large step in the right direction.

Ferrin flashed Ezra a goofy grin when he was twirled, using their hands to pull the quarter-Sephi close. “Guess I just needed a good partner,” He said with a smirk, continuing to sway with the quarter-Sephi.

The Pantoran was warm and comfortable, feeling a healthy buzz from the drinks and shots he’d done earlier in the night. A bit bolder than usual, Ferrin abruptly broke his grip on Ezra’s hands - turning around to dance with his back to the quarter-Sephi. For once, he managed to keep his arms controlled - instead swaying his hips and grooving against Ezra.

Of course, Ferrin had only a few seconds to enjoy his newfound confidence and dancing skills before he was unceremoniously interrupted. At roughly the same time he glanced back to flash Ezra a smirk, the metal tray shot across the floor - striking Ferrin harshly in the shin. The Pantoran practically buckled forward, a combination of pain and sudden numbness shooting in his legs. Tears began to well in Ferrin’s eyes at once, despite the smile he wore in hopes of downplaying what just happened. “Ow..”

 

[Sigtryggr Thorite]

Siggy often had a lot of downtime between jobs, so video editing had quickly become a fast past time for the lad. He nodded with a smile, "You think so? Aw thanks!" As she spoke about how the hair dye process worked, he'd run his fingers slowly through his hair as if contemplating what he might look like.

"That could be a lot of fun! I'm in and I'll even let you pick!." It sounded like a blast and you could even pretend to be someone else with a few other alterations. The idea of growing out a beard, dyeing it a bright color, and walking around seemed a hilarious concept to Siggy. Maybe if he stopped shaving he could do it, but that would probably also take ages to properly grow out.

Distracted in thought he suddenly heard his name called out by Maura, looking back toward her he smiled with an expression of a question mark, laughing a little as she realized her mistake. "Oh no, I am a child of the stars!!" It had always been a fun little story to tell, especially if they didn't know much about his people.

"My family is Deucalian, so they never really could find somewhere to settle. I think I was born somewhere in hyperspace but I'm not really sure where, but a child of the stars sounds way cooler, don't you think?" A small chuckle and smile later, he continued.

"We've moved around between a number of planets but never really stayed anywhere long. But I've gotten really good at flying and working with tech, I guess being in space just comes naturally! How about you, are you a local? or just here for some fun?"

[Maura Starwalk]

"Awesome!" A mischievous emotion glinted in her black eyes when he said he'd let her pick the color to dye his hair. There was so many options, but she was still convinced a darker color would look best. A dark, orange-y red, or maybe a navy blue? "A peekaboo color would be cool too!" It would look like he just had blonde hair at first, but the moment the wind blew or he put his hair up, boom! Color!

Someone came sliding through the dancefloor, offering up shots to anyone they passed by along their way (@LadyRen @Alhon @Xorism @Scoobert). Maura took one, curious to see what it'd taste like since it was bright red, and immediately regretted it. "Tastes like cherries and hand sanitizer!"

Then Siggy started talking about himself, so she physically shook her head a little to focus her attention back on him. He talked about his family and being space-born, but he called it a child of the stars.' "Yeah, that does sound cooler," she affirmed with a nod, not breaking eye contact until he asked her what she was doing here.

"Oh! Um, no. I'm not from here, just visiting," she said, waving her hands 'no' in front of her. "I actually kinda just wandered in here 'cause I was looking for a charger for my datapad," she explained, slurring over a couple of her words again. It had taken a few minutes, but the alcohol was finally starting to have a real effect on her body. Her skin was tingling, especially around her face, and she could feel a warm glow on her cheeks.

"But I AM having fun!" she assured him, breaking back into a smile. "I've never b- oof!" Before she could finish, someone shoulder-checked her walking by, shoving her right into Siggy. Not quite registering that someone had run into her, she immediately stammered out a red-faced apology, then tried to step back and regain her balance.. "Ah, sorry! I didn't mean to."

Geez, definitely no more drinks for her! "Wha- what about you? Are you just here for fun?" she asked, blinking a few times to refocus her vision.

Dash nodded to Lia without breaking from dance. Reed. Exactly, different guy.

Another quick glance revealed Reed was still dancing with Ferrin too, bumping and grinding in a way Dash couldn't imagine Ezra doing anyway. He was just seeing things that were on his mind.

He had neither a drink or shot handy and didn't want the happy haze encircling him to fade away. Nor did he want to get caught in a TokTik video right now, or encourage the idea he was dyeing his hair blue. Shimmying away from Lia and Maura, he made his way to the bar and promptly ordered another mixer. Double this time.

Pretty Dimetri was still sat there, watching the dancefloor a little sullenly, drink in hand. "What's up with you man, something happen?" (@Scoobert )

 

[Dimetri Unduli]

Dimetri had been chillin, taking some time to cool off. A good thing too, he finally decided it was time to get up and go dance some more. The past was in the past now and he wasn't going to let it bother him any longer. Though this may have been helped to move along by the drinks he's been downing. Before he could stand up though, a familiar face came to check up on him.

Dash had asked what was up and caught a little bit by surprise the Mirialan would snap his attention to the young man and smile real quick, "Nahh, I'm do- *hick* doing good. I was just boutta gonna get up and boogie some." His eyelids relaxed halfway over his eyes and when Dim stood up he had a bit of a balance loss for a moment before stabilizing like a toddler learning to use their legs for the first time. In the process his drink spilling slightly. "Oops."

A comedic sounding laugh escaping him before he stopped suddenly and got a little more serious, "Hey man.. you ever try sp- spice? I know a g- *hick* a guy that gots some." Dimetri had placed his hand on Dash's shoulder and looked into his eyes best he could.

[Liana Mason]

Lia was happy that Maura (@lizziie) seemed to have memorized her Gamertag perfectly and so she absolutely expected her to add her soon. Playing Swortnite together would be absolutely fun! And she truly couldn't wait! "You should join as well!", she told Siggy (@Xorism) who had just introduced himself and Lia listened curiosly to what he was telling them, however not catching every single word.

The idea of letting Maura her hair excited her and it would be even more exciting if all of the git new hair colors tonight, maybe even all together. It would be like a super fun after party! And she would dye Maura's! "Yes, you don't have to be afraid! It will wash out eventually! I'll do yours, Maura!", she happily decided, flashing both of them a happy grin.

She noticed that Dash was sneakily dancing himself away, just to end of with Dim and as he still looked like he could need a talk with a good friend, she decided to leave the two of them to it for now. As Reed (@Sreeya) was still dancing with Ferrin, she could make out Ciri not far away from her (@Wit), wanting to dance her way through the crowd and enjoy some fancy moves with her, however that was when she witnessed how Ferrin got caught in the tray-to-shin accident and this immediately made her gasp! "Ohmigod Ferrin!! Are you okay?!?!" (@Altaris). While he seemed rather composed , apart from his teary eyes, Lia was viewing this as a big, biiig accident and she was worried for her Pantoran friend! "Do you want me to fetch some ice?! We can surely grab some!", with we, she was referring to how she would either take Ciri or Reed with her, as she didn't want to get lost in the club, and also, it was a always safer to be together!

 

[Ezra Thorne]

Ezra only stared blankly at Ciri’s depressing response to his question. He was not a therapist and he was entirely unconcerned about the neurosis of self deprecating Jedi. His attention was already elsewhere, practically stepping right over her with his long legs.

Ezra felt like he was doing a public service by limiting the damage radius of Ferrin’s lethal dance moves. The Pantoran was beginning to get the hang of it when he abruptly spun around and pressed himself against Ezra. The gesture was surprising, but he had enough drinks in him to where he didn’t mind entirely. Ferrin swayed his hips and danced against him and Ezra’s free hand absentmindedly slid down to his hip, gripping it there as he rocked to the rhythm behind the Pantoran. He had a drink in his other hand, sipping from it while he danced.

He was beginning to enjoy himself when Ciri seemingly stuck again, slamming into Ferrin’s shins. It was only Ezra’s fingers digging slightly into the Pantoran’s hip that stopped him from completely face planting, though the sudden backward slam of his rear certainly didn’t feel great. That was when the girl from earlier popped up again, asking if Ferrin needed help.

Ezra used this to his advantage, releasing Ferrin and slinking back to make an escape back to the friends he arrived with. As sneaky as a guy his size could be anyway.

[Ferrin Sipal]

It took Ferrin a few moments to recover from the sudden and random assault - pain radiating from his shins and up through the rest of his legs. A few wheezes, some stifled tears and the Pantoran forced himself to straighten up, particularly motivated by not wanting to spoil the dance with Ezra. Of course, that didn’t prevent others from seeing what happened and wanting to get involved.

Ferrin’s golden eyes widened when Liana rushed over, expressing her cracked-out concern at the injury. He blinked a few times, and immediately glanced back to see Ezra attempting to slink off into the background - using the entire scene at his escape route. A part of the Pantoran wasn’t the least bit surprised by the quarter-Sephi’d antics, but that didn’t mean he was much of a fan either.

Thinking quickly, Ferrin flashed Liana a smile - reaching down to rub the injury. “I’m fine, really,” He said with a small shake of his head. “Reed already volunteered so we’re going together - don’t let me spoil your dancing.” He lied through his teeth, using the quarter-Sephi’s exit as his own. He smiled, gesturing back to Ciri, Maura and all the others who Liana had been interacting with before. Clearly she didn’t want to leave them, if Ferrin had it covered?

Without another word, Ferrin turned on a heel and began to follow after Ezra - hobbling after him and through the crowd, hopefully ditching the rest of the Padawans for the time being. It didn’t take him long to catch up to the quarter-Sephi, considering his tall-ass frame was visible above the crowd through practically the entire club.

“Leave me to fend for my damn self..” He grumbled quietly.

 

[Ezra Thorne]

Ezra was thrilled to make a clean break from the group, making his way through the crowds. He was hot and sweaty, and he pulled off his jacket. He wore a black tank underneath, his necklaces dangling across his chest. One of those was a kyber crystal shard he had found on Kashyyyk. Ezra was about to keep going when Ferrin abruptly caught up to him, still hobbling. The surprise was clear on his face as he looked back at the Pantoran. Was Ezra really that easy to find?

“You don’t wanna hang with the daycare?” He asked with a faint smirk, gaze briefly flicking back towards the Swortnite and TokTik dancing. Ezra made his way towards the bar, having spilled his drink when Ferrin stumbled. He got the bartender’s attention, ordering two shots. He glanced around and thought for sure he saw Dash. He also noticed the green idiot from earlier that was trying to pick a fight was getting cozy with him.

Ezra simply rolled his eyes and grabbed the two shots, handing one to Ferrin, “So, you planning on breaking any rules tonight?” He asked with a smirk, recalling their little adventure at the stadium.

[Dash Pavan]

Dash could tell Dimetri (@Scoobert ) was pretty drunk, which had to mean he himself wasn't totally out of it. That was good.

The Mirialan was swaying on the spot a little and slurring one or two words. His unusual red eyes fluttered and he let out bursts of laughter inexplicably. "Careful Dim" Dash said, helping steady the other Padawan. He was briefly tempted by the offer of spice, but decided against it. "Nah you're ok, I've had too many drinks as it is".

Dash caught sight of that purple hair again over Dim's shoulder and got a flash of its owner's face. Ok, if that's not Ezra, it's his double. He had to go over and find out.

"Boogie with care" he said to Dimetri, patting the big guy on the shoulder. He picked up his drink and sidled past Dim, towards the Ezra-lookalike. Dash noticed that Ferrin (@Altaris ) was ahead of him, catching purple hair up and the two of them were now hanging out at the bar.

"Hey" he said (@Sreeya ), catching up in the press of people "you look a little like someone I know".

 

[Ferrin Sipal]

Ferrin didn’t miss the comical look of surprise that flashed across Ezra’s expression, and couldn’t help the way that his own lips tugging upwards in turn. The Pantoran casually tucked his hands into his own pockets, following the quarter-Sephi towards the bar and away from the group. He was already feeling a healthy buzz after the shots, but that wouldn’t prevent him from flagging down another drink.

The Pantoran rolled his eyes aggressively when Ezra gestured back to the group of Padawan’s, golden eyes flicking back - just in time to catch a glimpse of the dances and talk of hair dyeing. “Is that even a question?” He shook his head a bit. Not to mention, the shin-attack left the Pantoran he was safer away from the group in any case.

“Maybe I do,” He flashed Ezra a playful smirk, accepting the shot and proceeding to throw it back - feeling the burn that went down his throat. “If you don’t mind ditching your buddies a little bit longer,”

The Pantoran’s train of thought was suddenly interrupted by the arrival of yet another Padawan from the group - barging right into the conversation with the most random question possible. Ferrin blinked a few times, eyes narrowing ever-so-slightly. He recognized Dash from Brighthome, if only in passing.

“Hey Dash,” He said with the faintest hints of a smile that weren’t the least bit genuine. “I’m surprised you aren’t dancing with the others. Over there.” He jutted a chin, kind of hoping the fellow Padawan would take a hint and make a speedy exit.

 

[Ezra Thorne]

Ezra gave Ferrin a half grin as he threw back his shot, “Depends,” He said as he planted a hand on the bar and leaned in a little closer to the Pantoran, “Are you gonna make it worth my time?” He asked right before someone approached them. He drew back and looked at the new person, his eyes visibly widening in recognition. Holy shit it was Dash. He was here. Wait, so what? Why did that make him flustered? He was just that guy from Kashyyyk...that’s all.

Before he could answer, Ferrin piped up. Ezra turned to look at the Pantoran in mild surprise. He glanced between the two teens and decided the best course of action was to grab two more shots and toss them back in quick succession. He needed every excuse possible to keep his mouth shut.

[Sigtryggr Thorite]

There was no shortage of interesting people at this little gathering here tonight, Siggy almost hadn't come - but after convincing himself a little social activity was good for the soul, he relented. He certainly wouldn't have guessed that by the end of the night, or soon thereafter that he would be dyeing his hair with a bunch of eccentric and hilarious strangers.

"Oh, sorry I don't have one on me. I probably have a spare back on my ship the Owl if you still need one." His ship was a little worse for wear after its latest skirmish, but she didn't need to know that yet.

Then suddenly out of nowhere, Siggy found himself quickly reaching out to catch a flying rainbow as Maura was bumped into him without warning. Fortunately, she was able to stabilize herself without much trouble, although he held a worried look. "It's okay!, are you alright?" After it looked like she was, he responded to her next question with a more relaxed smile. "Yes! I am looking for a new adventure actually and maybe to make some new friends." @lizziie

Turning to Liana @LadyRen he quipped, "Sounds fun, let's do it!" He had no idea of the logistics of such things and when it was going to happen but the girls seemed quite excited by it, and he assumed that Maura would know everything they would need and how to organize it.

[Dash Pavan]

When purple hair turned around it was unquestionably Ezra. Dash would know those silver eyes and perfect cheekbones anywhere. The other teen was even wearing the crystal from Kashyyyk around his neck, if further confirmation was needed. It glinted against the black of his tank top, which framed his lithe body well. Even with purple hair, he was as good looking as Dash remembered.

He was brought out of his reverie by Ferrin chiming in. Dash was about to reply cordially but picked up the slightest note of dismissal in the Pantoran's last few words, even with the rum in the bloodstream.

"Not at the moment" Dash replied, blue eyes trying to peer inside Ferrin's head (@Altaris ). Had he crossed this guy in some way? "Besides, it was getting a bit crazy over there.
