DESCRIPTION​

Maan Vizsla loves to blow things up so it only makes sense that he would seek out and retrofit a TIE/D "Defender" class starship. While it only possesses a class 2 hyperdrive this is still faster than most small ships these days and provide Maan with enough speed both in hyperspace and in sublight to allow the cyborg to travel with expedience. Maan named the ships transponder Naast D which translates from Mando'a "Destroyer D".

A heavy aftermarket deflector screen has been instegrated into the starbomber's design allowing it to have a light deflector screen as backup. The six medium laser cannons, two ion cannons and options for missiles or torpedoes make the TIE/D well armed and up to Maan's specifications since he does not believe in overkill. Naturally, Maan is not the type to toe the line between right and wrong. Generally he just steps over it without a care in the world which is what he did by de-limiting his ship's engines.

LEGALITY​

Restricted. Civilians are generally not permitted to own starbombers such as the TIE/D without extensive licensing. Even with this, the type receives heavy scrutiny from most authorities. Recognized military and paramilitary organizations may have an easier time of it. Illegal with some of the modifications made to it.
