thats what I'm going for, with cremek moving and attacking back
Okay, with that in mind, swinging low isn’t the best bet. Aiming higher is probably your go to move. However the biggest issue you’ll bump into is that your post doesn’t stop J’av’s strike. So that would still go through as is.

I THINK this is our final posting round essentially. Are you in agreement?

Okay. I’ll work on a post. Do you want to edit yours to account for aiming higher with the gauntlet strike? Like aiming towards J’av’s head or something?

i already did!
Okay, I’m going to work on this final post for the duel. Given the current state of combatants, what do you think is fair? J’av’s strike is coming in across Cremek’s torso, bisecting him. Cremek’s strike is coming in at essentially chest level, I would assume it would take J’av’s arm at the very least and cause some serious damage to their respiratory system as well.

Does that seem fair to you?

Okay. I can account for damage to J’av head/face. How does taking their lower jaw sound?

I think the main issue is that a Kesh is to the death. The attack in my last post would technically still go through because there is nothing to stop the slash at this point. However, in committing to it, J’av is going to be REALLY messed up. There’s no way around that.

I just want you to be comfortable with the damage done by Cremek’s attack. Does that make sense? If you disagree, I’m comfortable listening to your logic. As it stands, I don’t see a way out of this attack for Cremek.

Now if you’d like for Cremek to not die here, that’s something we can discuss but from my position, I’m not seeing a draw here.

like I said, i'm thinking both combatants would collapse from their wounds, cremek from blood loss from javs strike, and jav from cremeks attack, as i'm thinking both would in the end survive just for drama, though in the end I dont mind, preferably i would like to hold onto cremek for a tad bit longer, but i'm not going to defy reason.

I don’t see J’av passing out from the wound but I could see them not realizing Cremek was still alive after their strike, not conscious but alive. Like I said, my ooc goal isn’t to kill your character if you’re not comfortable with it but given the state of our duel, I don’t see J’av losing.

If you want to have Cremek alive but like having forgotten everything or something, that’s cool with me if it’s cool with @Altaris

Just to recap what we’ve discussed. You’re comfortable with Cremek getting their chest opened up and memories stolen by J’av. J’av is getting Darth Malak’d by Cremek. Cremek is going to survive this thread, not remembering who they are and require life support for their suit on a permanent basis.

Before I post, I want to ensure @Altaris is fine with this concluding our Kesh. Basically J’av will think Cremek is dead and or dying at the end.

This PvP largely reads to me like Apollyon pushing his ideas on a newer player and not getting any pushback. Reading the fight itself I'm also seeing some generally questionable moves.

@Apollyon A Rank 1/Champion managing to steal all useful information from another Sith's mind is not possible, much less after getting their jaw chopped off.

@Hastur @Altaris Are you both satisfied with and approve of this Kesh's outcome?

I understand and won’t argue with the decision on the information gathering, it makes perfect sense and was an overzealous step on my part. I didn’t push anything on another player, if it seems that way it wasn’t the case or intention. I’ve been transparent with staff and Hastur throughout this entire duel and ooc. Everything here was discussion based and if Hastur disagrees with the outcome or is unsatisfied, I’m perfectly happy with discussing it further and even continuing the duel.

I'm perfectly cool with it, I actually have a decent plan for it, so yeah kesh outcome is fine.

of course, i'm too nooby to see if anything was forced on me, but I personally had a fun time and didn't feel like anything was forced.
