Open Invasion [Murkhana] Monkey Business

Une was exchanging fire back and forth with the forces below. Ducking to avoid it when he needed to. Suddenly he heard in the coms chatter that the Kom’rk was returning to pick them back up. Une would attempt to provide covering fire for Ka as he jumped down to grab Vatar.

The Kom’rk was coming in low and slow to make sure that the Kordans made it aboard. Une had remembered the troops he was fighting with on the ground and how they would likely strike his warlord. Knowing his one job as the second most senior GG member was to ensure that the leader made it out he decided to do so.

Igniting his jetpack he flew directly at the location of the squad of troopers. With the smoke cover created by Ka his initial descent would be hard to notice. But it cleared quickly and allowed him to see his targets. Once he was close enough he turned off his jetpack and slammed into three of the troopers crushing them under his weight. Also the immediate area would tremble from him slamming into it.

Luckily his suit was fitted with inertia dampeners so he wasn’t as effected by it. Flipping his rifle over he began using it as a melee weapon swinging it full force into the helmet of a trooper ripping off the jaw and shattering the helmet. He then looked over to the one who seemed to be the leader(@Pantor) and swung the weapon at him next. He was intent on keeping his kin safe even at his own expense and he would die to do so.

[Vena Lann]

Vena finally arrived on the ground floor and stepped outside after the Ambassador and Lieutenant von Bastion, when she noticed something weird as she directed her gaze alongside the wall to the roof. These kriffing monkeys were jumping right into the suppressing fire!?

Vena decided it wasn't worth the hassle and trusted in the skill of the Imperial troopers, so she continued forward to support Lieutenant van Bastion in protecting the ambassador.

[Otto von Bastion]

Seeing the employment of combined arms tactics, Otto would watch the pair of simians prepare to counter attack. The first being presumably caught by the force and fired upon.

The second descending to bludgeon a trooper and then make his next attack in the direction of Lt. Elsaar - that would not stand. The brave Lieutenant had already felled one simian, and Otto was not about to see him become another name on the memorial that would commemorate this violent action. Otto would hand the ambassador his vibro without saying a word, exchanging a silent nod of understanding. If they are to die here today, they will die fighting.

Drawing his holstered DL-44 once more in his right hand, Otto would attack the simian as it made for Lt. Elsaar. Delivering 3 blaster bolts center mass as he bounded forward. It was hopefully enough to overwhelm the simians armor value if the bolts connected. But Otto would not rely on this alone. Seeing the simian swinging at Lt. Elsaar, Otto would attempt to swing his Pneumatic Fist affixed to his left hand aiming to connect the blow to (@Javier esschoolbus's) right side. Aimed at where he believed the simians kidney's would be and timed to hopefully interrupt the simians attack.

The impact of which would break bones, bruise organs, and paired with the incoming medium blaster fire - more than likely bring the simian to submit, slip from consciousness, or succumb to his wounds.

[Uneedth Vhett]

Une flew down and behind the smoke as he barreled towards the commandos. Though this made it difficult to hit him a bolt still made it through and skewed his course away from his original targets into another group of the troopers. As he stood up reeling from the damage he slammed his rifle into the face of one completely removing its jaw and splitting the rifle in two. He then stabbed through the other one with the remaining part of his rifle taking him out as well.

He then set his eyes on the one hiding behind the pillar(@Pantor). Slamming his fist into the troopers face at an angle that would squash it on the pillar. He was stuck by a few bolts from a nearby trooper heavily damaging his armor and himself. Grabbing his axe off his back he flung it into the trooper killing him and the one behind him as the heavy weapons handle impaired both of them.

He could feel his strength starting to wane. He then was hit by three more bolts from behind. Luckily his armor mostly negated one but not the other two. He turned to see where he was shot from as a man(@Rimrald) was charging him. He reached and grabbed the lifeless corpse of the man he smashed into the pillar and swung it downward onto the impudent human who tried to punch a Kordan with his full strength. It would strike the man like a hammer striking a nail.

He began coughing up blood as he finished his strike. It seemed he had fought his last battle. His days with his brothers coming to an end. He looked up to the Kom’rk as it flew away content that his life saved those of the ones he loved. As he looked down at the potential flattened fist fighter he smiled in his helmet thinking of how book and him fought a valiant battle in the bar. The world around him grew quiet and his sight darker. "MONKEEEEYYY ROARRRR", he said. He then collapsed on the bodies if the charging was hit he was also being fallen on (@Pantor @Rimrald) at his feet his story written and ended one of sacrifice and war.
