♠ THEME ♠
While corvettes were small compared to other capital craft Koil had to admit that they were still huge vessels. Compared to the antelope shuttle they were in. Onboard were a dozen Mandalorians in addition to himself and Tagal Saxon. Not all of them were Solus clan members. Some of them from even other houses but all had a specific set of skills and had gone through Silent Badger's training.

The relativly small vehicle was quickly approaching the Ilum class frigate. Queuing up the communication link to announce their arrival he clenched his sinuses to make his voice sound different and more nasally. "This is shuttle AV-3 on approach. Requesting permission to land in hangar bay Aurek"

A moment passed before they responded. "Transmit access codes." The voice came in somewhat casually. The Galactic Alliance was a bit loose on their discipline but at the same time it was probably because the skeleton crew of the vessel was annoyed about being stuck on the ship while the rest of the crew was out on shore time getting their party on. It was at one such party that Koil and Tagal had swiped the viable access codes. Transmitting them he waited for a response.

For this Koil was setup in his beviinir armor for this while the rest of his marauders were also setup with their own. It was a bit cramped inside the shuttle's passenger compartment considering there was only enough seating for six people while the rest were in the cargo hold along with the Silent Badger's passive Basilisk war droid. It grumbled, preferring to be in a more open area. To scans it would seem like they had nothing but a shuttle full of galactic alliance troops returning from some time out on the town. Koil had even offered to lend the Saxon clan member a set of beviinir armor if he liked the added protection against the vacuum of space should he want it.

Tagal had something of a ritual when it came to engaging with the enemy.

He was fully suited up and outfitted for combat with two reloads for each of his weapons but aside from that he did one thing whenever he got the chance before battle. As the shuttle approached their target, Tagal closed his eyes and leaned his head forwards slightly. Despite being an atheist, Tagal believed in covering his bases; he prayed to the only God he had ever truly believed in, the only god he had ever entrusted himself to.

Nau'urkad Kaplyr.

Tagal had taken Koil up on his offer and had taken a set of the Beviinir armor but he had equipped with the exact same functions as his own armor. That way there would be functionally no difference for him to adjust to in combat but he would still not be immediately seen as "Tagal Saxon" - instead he would just be another of the clanless men in a set of the Lancer armor.

One that had some extra toys but what self respecting Mandalorian DIDN'T have at least a few extra toys?

As a smith he had done the work himself.

"May my work be solid; May my blade be sharp and my sights true. Grant me that my tools be higher than those of my enemies." he whispered, "And trust that the hands that hold them are strong enough."

Enough of that.

He was ready.

Tagal is wearing the standard Beviinir armor but with the same functions (AT included) as his own armour found - HERE.

There was no sigils denoting clans or affiliations. However symbols of accomplishment like Koil's Jaig Eyes, Slayer symbol and Parjii badge were still inscribed on his armor albeit not very large. The codes were processed thanks to the recently acquired access codes providing the valid cover they needed.

Coming down into the hangar bay the ship came to a rest. There were only roughly two dozen souls onboard the frigate but that was still nothing to wave off. They had to be fast if they were going to do this efficiently. The doors to the shuttle opened and the mandalorian marauders activated their jump boots and mobility equipment to move into the hangar bay. Only a few rebels were present and the warriors fired their blasters. For the time being the bolts were set to stun, dropping them and having them become incapacited for the time being.

While the warriors under Koil's direction took out the dwindling hangar staff the forward mounted laser cannons of the shuttle kept an eye on any of the other sitting craft, ready to fire and damage the parked shuttles. Koil's basilisk war droid marched out of the shuttle behind his warriors and fired a few shots into the starfighters parked there. His gauntlet bulwark shield activated on his left arm since he was not being very covert.

Time to go to work.

Tagal surged out of the shuttle and into the hanger with Koil and his men. The rebels in the hanger had no chance really; they were taken completely by surprise and they were not as well trained as Koil's own forces.

Thankfully the Mandalorians didn't need to actually kill anyone since stunning them worked just as well. Tagal himself grabbed one of the rebels technicians by the shoulder and threw him to the ground where he was stunned by the Mandalorians. He nodded to Koil as he took the access card from the technician to open up the next door and keep moving up.

They had another stop to make.

He spoke in the language of their forefathers to Koil, whispering it so that only the silent badger would hear.

"Deafen them."

The next step.

Koil knew what they needed to do next. The mandalorians would get found out soon enough so he made a low wistle causing his Troupe to exit their pouches and circle behind him atop the basilisk war droid. For now he did not have them play anything but they would come into use soon enough.

They would eventually need to take the bridge but for now they had the hangar. With no more conscious rebels in the hangar Koil had his marauders go to any of the personnel doors and shut them, locking them save for one that would be used to get to the bridge. The others would be closed and just locked temporarily, capable of being unlocked but that would at least give the marauders holding the hangar time to form a defense.

The foot-based doors were not the only things that were locked down. Koil remembered a story that Burkhart and Dax had told him about how the Morling had swooped into a space station's hangar bay and vented the whole place out. While inside his armor he would be fine the War Councilor did not want any undesirable craft to arrive. Moving to the hangar's external blast doors he shut them so that nobody could try to sneak in. The same was mirrored on the other side, sealing the vessel off.

"We need to move to the bridge soon." He said in Mando'a to Tagal. The bridge had most of the controls to the ship. It would be easiest to take the vessel from there.

The ship had a compliment of four shuttles and eight starfighters though they were all run of the mill ships. The marauders quickly checked the different holds of the shuttles and vessels, detaining any astrodroids or other automatons. Koil liked to minimize factors. For now the shuttle they rode in on closed the loading ramp with the pilot still at the controls. His laser cannon silently keeping sentinel and its elevated position over the deck to also alert the others of any disturbances around them.

Sitting within her cockpit, ashen haired pilot toggled a few of the flight control switches, before her emerald hued eyes panned over towards the diagnostics console, her eyes flitting back and forth as she read the various system read outs. Everything was functioning as it should, which gave the Jedi a sense of satisfaction, the recent upgrades to her ship appeared to have been integrated successfully. Something that brought a grin to her helmeted features, after all the time that had passed since she moved away from her duties as a simple mechanic within the rebellion, she hadn't lost her touch.

Gazing out of the cockpit, the ashen haired pilot watched the swirling blue vortex of hyperspace. A light sigh escaping her lips as her thoughts trailed back to the countless times she had stared out into the swirling maelstrom of augmented space, as much as she could never tire of staring out into the vibrant blue hues that cascaded around her ship, she was finding herself a little bit impatient to complete the hyperspace jump, mostly so she could really test the recent modifications to her ship in Alliance secured space.

With a sudden lurch, the Cygnet dropped out of hyperspace, breaking out of her thoughts the pilot switched the ship out of the Nav computer's control into manual control. Peeling the fighter off into a rocking motion, as she felt the ship respond to her movements on the control yoke of her craft. Her gaze falling upon the Rebel Corvette that was stationed in the sector briefly for a moment before, adjusting the fighter's heading. "Morning Alliance Frigate, This is Star Three entering sector carrying out routine patrol, how do you copy?" the pilot spoke out over the comms to the frigate's command deck, as her gaze flickered between the various read outs being displayed within her cockpit. For all she knew at this point, this was going to be be nothing more than a simple routine patrol flight.

Never would she had anticipated the response coming from the Frigate, as it crackled over her comm channel. "Star Three, Acknowledged, we're currently detecting weapons fire onboard" The Jedi' master's eyes widened, as her mind processed what was being relayed to her, why in the Krif would there be weapons fire aboard the frigate, was this a firing range exercise or was the ship currently under siege. "Frigate, confirm have weapons drills been authorised?" Eisa responded, wanting to ensure that she wasn't going to jump to any brash conclusions. "Star Three, Negative"

Furrowing her brow, the Jedi master shook her head in disbelief. "Frigate, Acknowledged. Initiate lock down procedures, secure the command deck and all systems" The Rebel pilot instructed as she veered her fighter closer towards the Frigate. "Will conduct a fly past to confirm" she continued before removing her thumb from the comms stud, before a series of clicking sounds resonated within the cockpit, as the female pilot powered up the offensive systems of the fighter. "Ditto, relay status update to the Alliance fleet command" Eisa spoke out within the cockpit to her docked droid, eliciting a series of worried tones from it "I know, I know, probably nothing but its drills and skills remember" the Jedi responded as she throttled down on her craft as it came within close proximity to the frigates hull.

As the cygnet ran along in close proximity to the contours of the Frigate's hull, the pilot manoeuvred her craft so that she could get a clear visual on the interiors of the hangers that she passed. Channelling the Force through her to heighten her senses, as she scrutinised the visible interiors of the frigate for any signs of trouble, something the littered body's across the hanger deck would give away.

The bridge was the goal and they were almost there.

Koil's men made quick work of the few men and women they found along the way and it became clear that the rebels on the ship were no match for the Mandalorians. Again, none of them were killed and the rebels were instead stunned and then restrained to be kept under watch.

Tagal had expressed his opinion that they would be useful hostages in the event that someone didn't want to play ball. Grabbing one of the restrained rebels as they approached the locked doors to the bridge, Tagal sighed a little bit inside his helmet as he thought about how best to come across. Adopting a thick Concord Dawn accent, Tagal didn't try and open the locked door but instead did something else.

He pressed the 'door bell' to open a video line to those inside. Almost immediately the officer on deck would see an unknown Mandalorian in front of his door - with a gun held to the head of one of his crew.

"Let's make this real simple." he declared, "Open the door, lay down your guns and there won't be no rubble. Trouble. The hostages we have stay nice and safe and sleep tight, yeah. You join them on a kip and wake up back in the arms of your friendly rebels. But you try and call anyone? You get angry and shoot us? You try and play dumb and stay behind this door?"

He tapped the temple of the crewmember with the barrel of his pistol.

"We might get angry too. So open the door, would ya? Let's not play silly buggers."

Just as the last few meters of the hangar blast doors closed he saw a ship fly past. He had been giving a hand signal towards one of his verde when a ship flew past the small opening. Chances were the pilot had gotten a good look inside but the firmly sealed doors shut. If they were going to do anything about the Mandalorian's presence the starfighter on the outside would have to find some way to do it from the exterior of the hull. To the pilot, whomever they were, they probably just saw a Mandalorian on top of a basilisk like he was waving at them. But that might have not been the case if they had been traveling as fast as they were.

In the end Koil had carried out his actions inside the hangar and now six out of the original twelve marauders were following behind the War Councilor and Tagal. Keeping the others in the hangar, guarding the stunned rebels and ready to take action if given directions from Koil. The halls were wide enough for his basilisk but for the sack of maneuverability he dismounted and had his war droid walk in front. The rebels that resisted fired pointlessly at the tough skin of the war machine. It growled but Koil had told it to hold its fire. Not only did he not want to kill people unnecessarily but also the firepower it possessed would be more of a risk if they hit something important. Those rebels that they came across were shot with stun bolts, same as the rest.

The path had otherwise been clear and short. frigates were larger than corvettes but it was still an easy jaunt over to the locked down doors of the bridge. Koil pulled out his two quickdraw blasters and readied them. The path behind them was still open and four of the mandalorians were facing in that direction, posted at the end of the hall to signal anybody trying to pinch them. The other two were posted up along the door and Koil stood nearby, partially using his basilisk war droid to cover his back while he faced the door. What the shab is that accent? He thought to himself after hearing Tagal give the bridge crew a chance to surrender peacefully.

As the Cygnet carried out it's low speed pass along the hanger bays, the ashen haired pilot caught sight of the hanger deck as the blast doors drew to a close. Her brow furrowing as she processed the sight, downed rebels and Mandalorians gathered around some large droid with another of the warrior people mounted atop of it. Pursing her lips as she processed the sight, the Pilot pitched the fighter down into a banking dive, shifting the craft to run along the keel of the frigate's hull. Why in the 'verse was there Mandalorians aboard the rebel ship, granted they were loose allies of sorts, well the were neutral and just shared a common enemy. But something wasn't sitting right with the ashen haired Pilot. The reports of weapon's fire from the bridge crew, the hanger housing the sight of downed rebel crew men and Mandalorians mustering around a heavy droid, it didn't sit well one bit.

"Alliance Frigate, Mandalorians spotted in hanger" Eisa spoke out over the comms channel to the frigate bridge crew, reporting back her sightings from the fly past of the ship to investigate. Even though she wasn't fully privy to the decisions of the Alliance council, the pilot was still an Officer in her capacity as a Rebel, she wasn't aware of any joint strikes taking place, but even if there was she would have expected there to be more of a contingent than a single frigate without fleet support.

Narrowing her eyes as she manoeuvred the fighter into a tight yawing turn, changing her trajectory towards the rear of the frigate. "Ditto, relay a message to fleet command, update them on status of Frigate, advise that Mandalorians sighted within hanger bay, with downed Alliance crewmen, request support determined that Alliance Asset has been compromised" Eisa spoke out to her droid, as she reached over her console, to toggle a few switches to prime her weapon systems. "And commence calculations for an immediate hyperspace jump to next randez vous point" the pilot added before opening the throttle on her fighter, her focus shifting away from her droid's responding chirps and onto manoeuvring her fighter at speed through the slalom of weapons turrets and scanner arrays that protruded from the base of the frigates hull.

As the fighter crossed the threshold of the frigate's stern, Eisa throttled down as the Cygnus was pulled into a tight climbing roll bringing the fighter around 180 degrees, and rolling the craft so that it was facing the rear exhaust ports of the frigate's engines. The fighter held steady for a moment, as the ashen haired pilot took a deep breath, channelling the Force through her to heighten her senses and reflexes should she need to take evasive action, but at the stern of the ship there would be time for her act. Taking a deep breath Eisa mused on the standing orders issued by Alliance command, if an asset is deemed to be compromised it is to be neutralised, kriff if she was wrong then she'd take the chewing out. Pulling down the visor of her flight helmet, she watched as the targeting hud flashed into life, before squeezing and holding down the primary trigger on her control yoke.

The Cygnus's heavy laser cannons unleashed two chained salvos of laser fire, before being followed up with a proton torpedo being fired into the passive frigate's main engine exhausts. The combined explosive force of the Heavy laser cannons and proton torpedo impacting against thrusters would likely cause further secondary explosions along the more fragile components of the ships engine drive systems and surrounding engineering decks. The ashen haired pilot's intent was now to cripple the alliance frigate, to prevent it from moving until support from the rebel fleet could arrive. And, without the ships complete compliment of crew, damage control on board the frigate would be difficult.

Nobody was coming behind them. No reports from any of the marauders. Periodic updates and precise check ins would indicate there were no other crewmembers left concious save for those on the bridge.

"Begin cutting."
Koil said with a forward hand signal. Growling mechanically the plasma cannons on the head of the basilisk war droid illuminated and then shot out in beams as it began to carve through with the power of cruiser cutting laser. The War Councilor's mount was mean for boarding ships even if from individually entering from the outer skin.

A few shaking rumbles were felt under their boots while they waited for the cutting to finish. "They are firing on their own ship." He said to Tagal. Pulling form his pocket he activated the distraction they had set earlier. On any ship's scanners in range there would appear to be small battle group of sith starfighters, bombers, pinnaces and even two corvettes and that just dropped out of hyperspace. While suspicions of what the Mandalorians were doing on board were rising the very clear and obvious threat that the Galactic Alliance had in any case was the Sith Empire even if they had only just arrived. It was all setup to be at the edge of everyone's scanners so they would not have a visual with their naked eye until they moved towards the IFF tags.

It would take a little bit for the laser to cut through the door. The hull heating up on the other side for a moment as an outline was cut. The moment the door was opened up to the boarding party the Mandalorians would breach with concussion grenades and stun bolts. The basilisk once again in front of the group and acting as a stalwart
shield. The plan was to cancel all functions of the ship. Messages being sent out, making sure that nobody else had boarded the ship besides the mandalorians, canceling any manuevers or hyperspace jumps. Those would then allow for Tagal and Koil to be in control of the frigate.

Okay so maybe his accent game wasn't the best, he wasn't going to make a big deal out of it. It seemed that the rebels were not above killing and endangering their own people over the chance that people other than they were on their ship. And these were the people who wanted to claim that they had the moral highground over the Sith?

Honestly, shooting at your own hostages was such a Sith move it might as well be in that abhorrent code of theirs.

"You feel that?" He asked the bridge crew through the intercom, "It seems as though your people are attacking the ship. Do you think they care if you live or die? Because it seems like they're not too invested in you - they seem to be intent on more damage than we have!"

He noted the progress of the laser cutter as it began chewing through the door with, he was sure, alarming speed for the bridge crew. Tagal hummed once.

"Seems to me, Captain, you need to look out for your crew. Your superiors can have their lofty goals and their Greater Good but you? You have a duty to the men and women under your command. Will you let your superiors endanger them needlessly for their Greater Good?" he tutted, "We are not your enemies here. We do not hate you, we do not wish to harm you. We want to advance ourselves but that does not have to come at the cost of the lives of your crew!"

Maybe they would open the doors but it didn't matter - they would be in very soon even if they didn't comply. Already the officer he was talking to was reacting to the Sith contacts that were appearing on his scanners. Tagal wasn't their enemy; their enemy had just arrived.

"What's with all the alarms?"

He was playing it up.

He knew, of course, exactly what was happening but if the bridge staff didn't know that then they were much more likely to see he and Koil as the lesser of two evils.

The directed combined blasts from the heavy laser cannon's and fired proton torpedo, shook the ship as they impacted against the engine exhaust ports at the stern of the frigate. Explosions ripped out from around the ships thrusters before secondary explosions cascaded throughout the ion drive engines, removing the frigates ability to maneuver, leaving it until repairs were actioned, stranded with little means of movement.

The Pilots attention, was pulled away to the side at her scanners and proximity alerts screamed into alert. Out on the remote edge of her scanner range a battle group had appeared to drop out of hyperspace, the signatures seemed to be consistent with that of the Imperial ships. Gritting her teeth, the pilot observed her scanner for a moment, gauging what the battle group were going to do. A curious frown crossed her features as the newly arrived battle group remained still, either they were too far out of the scanners displayable range or the Sith ships were merely just sitting in wait.

Pursing her lips in thought the Ashen haired pilot dismissed the blaring alarms for the moment, her fingers toggling off the audiable warning notifications, before maneuvering her ship downwards, reducing her 'altitude' so that she was positioned below the damaged ion drives. The Cygnets scanners were showing little to no movement from the Sith battle group, which for the seasoned pilot put them further down the list of her current threat assessment. The standing orders for all Alliance military personnel still took priority, which was to ensure that no key asset could fall into the wrong hands. The Alliance had put these contingencies into place to prevent the likes of Hoth, Savareen, Naboo and even Dantooine occurring again, the reminder at how easily the rebellion could have fallen in those instances made it all too clear just how significant and long lasting losses can come as a result of over looking even the smallest of elements that could compromise the Rebellion.

As soon as the fighter was in position, another cycling salvo of heavy laser cannon fire was unleashed from the Cygnet. Being directed into the liquid and gas storage tanks that were mounted at the damaged rear of the Frigate, Eisa released her grip of her trigger momentarily, looking to use the destruction of the stored gases and liquids under the initial barrage to severely damage the surrounding hull as a result of the gas and liquid stores exploding, before squeezing the trigger once again to unleash another cycling salvo of heavy laser fire followed by another proton torpedo, towards the damaged surrounding Hull plating, where upon impact the resulting explosions from the weapons fire would likely take out the auxiliary systems of the frigates main reactor core. Even if the attack did potentially cripple the ships power generation and the Sith fleet advanced into visual range, they would find that the Frigate would be dead in the water and either scuttle the ship or move on.

The durasteel door to the bridge was nowhere near the same strength as the outer hull of a capital ship. It was quickly cut through without an issue. Concussion grenades were thrown inside and a sweeping breach into the bridge with the firing of stun blasters taking out the crew inside gained the Mandalorians control over the ship. They were about to cancel the hypespace jump but Koil saw the readout of the small starfighter turning to make an attack run. By now the calculations the bridge crew had put in were safely coordinated. He deactivated the IFF tags of the sith with the same trigger he had used before.

Silent Badger activated the hyperspace jump and before the heavy laser cannons or the proton torpedo could connect they frigate was in hyperspace. Out of harms way and tunneling through the blue tunnel Koil exhaled. That had been pretty close. They would have some time to recover and get their bearings before they dropped out of hyperspace. Some of the marauders wondered why he had chosen to go to the coordinates the rebels had picked.

Time to get moving.

Now that they were in the control centre of the whole ship, Tagal was free to release his hostage for now. The man was already stunned so it wasn't like he needed to knock him out or anything. Moving into the bridge, Tagal pushed a stunned crewmember out of his seat and took up a position.

He tapped away at the console quickly, pulling up damage reports as the ship blasted into hyperspace. The systems he had access to would allow them to see what damage had been done by the rebel who had seemed so intent on killing their own people. Seriously - killing dozens of their own people over a freaking ship?

A ship that the GA had dozens, if not hundreds of actually.

And they were the good guys? Yeah right - they were just as guilty and vicious as the Sith if this encounter was to be the judge.

But they were out of the fire for now.

Nothing happened when Koil hit the button. He looked back up at the screen that had been coordinating the navigational settings. The screen was dark. Had he just imagined it being set up? It did not matter. They would need to setup the directions anyways and the Sith IFF tags had gone dark still so maybe the Jedi would realize that attacking them was going to quickly get noticed by the other Galactic Alliance forces.

While that was being setup the coordinates for their hyperspace jump to galactic south he opened up the rebel secure channel. "This is the Retribution" he said using the ship's name. "We're under attack. A lone starfighter has damaged our engines. They're masquerading as GA forces. Mandalorians have boarded us, and taken hostages. Mayday, mayday!" He called out using the same voice as when he had gained access to the ship in the first place. There were plenty of the Galactic Alliance around the system. Not all of the ships had been in the hangar and there were other forces around Ithor. If nothing else it would make it look like Eisa had gone rogue and begun attacking a valued asset. Without the IFF tags she would look like she was willing to kill an entire ship just because of some hunch about the ship being boarded.

Perhaps if the entire vessel was confirmed at being in the hands of the Mandalorians that would be alright. But for now there were hostages and perhaps Eisa would even believe that his words to be true. She had not made any attempt to give a warning to the vessel or tell its crew to abandon ship. Aren't these rebels supposed to be all about hope and what not? The moment things turn slightly bad, this one goes straight for gunning down their own comrades.

The rest of the marauders had the crew at gunpoint. Some of them were ordered to get back to their stations and act appropriatly, returning the ship to its status of activity. They had a limited crew still but for the time being they could at least bring two out of the fourteen medium laser cannons as well as the tractor beams. With those getting ready they would be able to return fire on the small craft in an appearing act of self defense.

@Nefieslab @Plebometer timed out from the 22 or 26 hours left over that had remained from the report period.

Tagal was never really a fan of the Galactic Alliance.

He liked some of the members well enough he supposed but there was just something about them that rubbed him the wrong way. It was in the way they swanned about the Galaxy as if they owned it, as if they had a right to it by virtue of being less terrible than the Sith Empire.

If that was all it took then the Galaxy was truly doomed.

He noted the single GA fighter seemingly deciding that the ship needed to die because... well he wasn't entirely sure why actually. The bridge crew hadn't sent any messages confirming they were boarded. Their logs confirmed they had had a brief conversation about weapons fire but then nothing.

No confirmation of hostiles.

So for the sake of what might have been a weapons malfunction, this GA pilot was willing to kill everyone on board. For what? A frigate that the Alliance had literally dozens of replacements for within a few days at most. He tutted as he activated the shields for the ship, bringing it to a stronger defensive footing and helping to sell the image of a GA ship trying it's best to stave off the results of bitter betrayal.

The Cygnet was in position, Eisa Squeezed down on the trigger, unleashing a salvo of heavy laser cannon fire, directed into the coolant liquid and gas storage tanks that were mounted at the damaged rear of the Frigate. Holding fire for a second or two, so to allow for the explosion of the stored gases and liquids under the initial barrage, before squeezing the trigger once again to unleash another cycling salvo of heavy laser fire followed by her second proton torpedo, towards the would be damaged rear of the frigate. The further explosive attacks should be enough to breach the Hull and knock out the auxiliary control systems of the frigates main reactor core. The intent of the attack was to cripple the frigates power generation capabilities, to force the Frigate's automated safety systems to shut down the reactor to prevent it from overloading from the loss of its auxiliary control equipment and coolant plant.

The ashen haired pilot would then cast her gaze back to the scanner display, to update her current threat assessment. But, It seemed that as abrupt as the arrival of the Sith fleet appeared on the fighter's scanners, the signals had disappeared. As she observed the latest readout of the scanners, a different voice from earlier rang out over the Alliances secure channel. Calling out a differing rendition to the earlier reports she had Ditto transmit back to the Fleet. Claiming that a fighter mascarading as being part of the Alliance and attacking the frigate, and that Mandalorians were holding the crew hostage.

So it was confirmed that the Mandalorian's were attempting to capture the ship. And whether this second voice over the comms was just an attempted ploy or not, it didn't matter. Her priority was to ensure that the Frigate could not fall into the wrong hands, and in her eyes crippling it would be the best means to do so, it would allow the alliance support to arrive and recapture the Frigate, whether the Mandalorians were still on board or not.

After the channel fell silent the ashen haired pilot, looked over her ships status readouts, to confirm and ensure that all the systems were operational, defensive and offensive, and if things did get too hot then there was the hyperspace jump readied by Ditto to fall back on. But as much as she would want to avoid destroying the ship, Eisa was all too aware that lethal force may be required. There was too much at risk, whilst the motives for and the reasoning behind stealing an Alliance ship were unknown, the ramifications of whatever the Frigate would be used for could be dire, and lead to heavier losses for the rebels. War mongers hiding in the shadows and committing atrocities behind a false flag, was a serious threat - one that could draw a renewed Ire from the Sith Empire against the rebellion that would lead to its destruction.

Getting a moment to enjoy the evening was a rarity the Grandmaster and leader of the Galactic Alliance was starting to find out. Her comm had gone ballistic following the run in with an old acquaintance, something felt odd about the meeting, but now that feeling has grown enough to annoy her that this may be more than just coincidence. Luckily she managed to find thirty of her soldiers to aide her in this rather confusing situation. The first report that came in was unidentified ships entering the system, concerns they were Imperial craft had alerted the Galactic Alliance, party time was over.

The next report that came from her commanders were the alerts of Mandalorians aboard one of their craft and she and thirty-five of her soliders began to approach in several craft to the Retribution, a mayday call came in, she could see the damage to the ship's engines and all the Jedi Master could whisper was:

"What the kriff is going on?"

One of her commanders side glanced at the woman and she caught his eye, causing him to blush as he himself did not know what was happening. Arda watched as they approached the Ilum class ship.

"Hail them. Order Star Squadron to cease fire and get me a sensor read out on the frigate." she ordered and communications began to patch them through to the bridge of the frigate. Opening the comm channel, the Distance-class corvette circled the Retribution.

"This is Grandmaster Arda Breaux of the Galactic Alliance, may I speak with the Mandalorians who have taken charge of the vessel. I would like to know of their demands."

Well it seemed like the response to the hijacking was kicking off. They had actually managed to scare up someone in charge!

That they had managed to get the head witch herself was somewhat impressive. Meant that at least someone was taking this as seriously as it should have been considered from the start.

Honestly, some people.

Still, he decided that he would leave it to Koil to open the dialogue again. In the mean time he would give the order for the guns to remain silent but vigilant for now. The shields would stay up of course.

The one attack craft would have been moving in and out of the shields of the ship in its attack runs. The first one it had made earlier had been inside the shields of the ship as small craft were known to do. It made two more attacks with its heavy laser cannons and one more torpedo however one of those barrages would strike the shields. The small craft's own speed was its enemy either having moved it beyond the target or firing preemptively while still outside the shields of the ship. A frigate was not as large as a star destroyer, large enough for small craft to get inside the shield array but not for long.

Koil saw the light blink on the controls of the bridge. He brought a finger to his helmet in a motion to tell the rest of them to stay quiet as he took care of the hail coming in from the corvette that was coming close. The voice was familiar, it was Arda's, the woman he had been 'having drinks with' not too long ago on the surface of Ithor. But Koil's voice would be different, he made it sound more nasally like he had before when approaching the Frigate on the shuttle.

"Grandmaster, thank the Force you're here. They haven't taken the bridge yet. We've locked down compartments of the ship they've come through. They are slowly cutting through the compartments but it will be awhile before they reach us. They've taken hostages but we're trying to jam them from making communication with one another. They said something about being gur save be hall graveger or something like that. We took some of them out. Only a dozen or so I think but they've been using stun blasters to take down crew members and take them as hostages." He did his best to sound like any reasonably worried military officer that did not know jack about Mandalorians. His accent was Corellian in this case, having spent plenty of time around those people instead of being his mandalorian let alone echani accent show. With the mention of the Girsav be Haal Gra'avagr being mentioned that would likely give the Galactic Alliance a so-called name to the face of T visors the Jedi had seen earlier. He came back this time with a bit of anger in his voice. "What the kark is Star Three thinking firing on us! She's endangering the crew!"

His hand continued hovered over the hyperspace jump button just in case. He felt his ears getting warm and his eyes darting from screen to screen in controlled focus. This was a ship to ship version of a possible quick draw situation. If the other ship detected approximate life signs they would see the number and placement of personnel was not unlike how he described. So far, there was no reason to really doubt what Koil had said but apparently these jedi were trigger happy and ready to kill off their own comrades. Good thing the black box of the ship more or less recorded all of this and would be able to be released to a popular news outlet to smear these hypocrites later on. He was not worried about how he would execute the consequences of them right now though.
