It was starting to become desperate. Sweat dripped from his brow stinging his eyes, as Malerion’s saber whipped back and forth deflecting bolts in every direction. The effort of constant Force manipulation through his body was starting to take hold and his breathing had become deeper. The Sith had pulled some knocked over crates to block off half of the approach giving him some breathing room but still the blaster fire was relentless.

Malerion was about to call the whole thing off and leave Aska to her fate when the door behind him beeped, then a moment later began to unlatch itself. The giant blast doors began to open showing him the inside of the factory. Without a moment's hesitation Malerion darted through the opening doors, before quickly turning and slamming his fist into the panel closing them behind him. A few more deflected shots as the doors closed, then he was alone and in the quiet.

He was panting heavily as he reached for the comm. “Better late than never. Find the organic in charge, I want him screaming as soon as possible.” He said, before deactivating his blade and began moving through the facility.

”Screaming,” Aska replied into her comms as she began flipping through whatever files she had access to from the terminal, eyes scanning the monitor with each swipe. Now we’re talking my language,” Production records, shipping manifests, shift schedules were all at the clone’s disposal but time was running short. She worked furiously as she searched in hopes of pinpointing where the site foreman was located knowing it was only a matter of time before she was locked out from the mainframe. Sweat beaded down her forehead, her hand swiftly swinging up to remove the helmet and cool down though the heat of the factory was sweltering.

Finally, Aska located and accessed the life support systems used to ensure the air quality of the factory. It wasn’t an easy task but once she had sliced her way in, she was able to track any organic within the compound. While she couldn’t specify who each flashing dot on the monitor represented, it became clear that the Operations Hub was on the opposite side of the facility overlooking the completed droid units that she had noticed early, several floors above.

”Anyone with a pulse seems to be sealed in the command center. Upwards of ten… fifteen…” Aska relayed to Malerion, the screen then snapped to black, the terminal disconnected remotely from the mainframe. ”Probably about twenty sweaty, dusty ass Factory workers locked away. I’ll rendezvous with you at the lift,”

As Aska lifted her helmet to slide back on whilst turning towards the door, her blue eyes settled on the receptors of a pair of commando units, weapon’s drawn. Smirking, the clone placed the helmet over her head as she prepared to tear the machines apart bolt by bolt. ”Don’t wait for me,”

Malerion tried to keep himself low and out of sight of the small amount of droids moving around the plant. He was tired both physically and with The Force and needed some time to recuperate before he could fight to his full effectiveness, so at least for the moment he needed to move with some sort of stealth.

Granted the armour didn’t make it easy for him to duck down and hide behind anything, the best he could get was a half crouch. “Good. Send me the location.” He replied before she was cut off by her unwelcome guests. Checking the small map on his comm he figured out the direction he needed and began moving towards it.

Whatever commotion Aska was causing seemed to pull a number of the interior droids away from the fleshy leaders. Giving Malerion a pretty easy waltz to their sealed up location.

Upon reaching the door, Malerion gave it a tug with The Force, nothing. Shame that would have made things much easier. As he stared at the door wondering how thick it was and if cutting through would be an option the Sith spotted a camera in the corner. Igniting his blade he turned to face the camera. “I am a Sith Lord and I have come for this facility, send out its owner and the rest of you may live and serve me. Refuse and I will kill everyone of you.”

The factory workers, dispersed across the control room in varying degrees of distress, watched from their nest as a mercenary opposite them dispatched droid after droid that attempted to surround and suppress her from further destruction. Most who observed did so with anxious stares but the Foreman, a heavy set man with beady eyes, patchy stubble and a receding hairline, was glaringly distracted from the scene for he was the only one amongst them that recalled there were two reported infiltrators.

Monitors displayed the numerous security feeds that surveyed the factory but the man’s attention fell on one in particular that observed directly beyond the sealed door into their confines. His heavy breathing faltered as he witnessed the armored man staring back at him, red laser sword humming in hand. He made his claims, he made his demands, but the Foreman scowled in response.

“Sith Lord? Ha!” the Foreman replied through the P.A. system into the corridor. “There ain’t any Sith, no mo’, ya moron! Y’all were cast out ‘n killed off, ‘swat I heard,” His voice dripped with condescension and pleasure as his hand slammed down on a large button. In the corridor, the flashing red glow of an energy shield enveloped the door while an alarm began to blare. “Y’re just some trumped up merc with a flashlight fer a sword! My droids will take care of yeh sooner or later!”

Behind him, silently the workers looked back from the carnage occurring across the way and listened to both Malerion’s offer as well as their boss’ refusal. Quietly they whispered amongst themselves, careful to ensure the Foreman could not overhear them.

Malerion couldn’t help but smile as the Foreman spat out his defiance. It seemed that in only a few weeks the Galaxy had forgotten about the strength and power of the Sith, they were all fools who hid behind fake news and bedtime stories. Malerion let out a simple laugh that could be picked up on the P.A system before he continued. “You think that those Imperial drones could destroy our order. Look at us, one Sith and a simple soldier have ripped through your little facility destroying scores of your little pets and I haven’t even broken a sweat. The Sith are here to stay in the Galaxy, the Jedi couldn’t destroy us or the New Republic and the scum that call themselves Imperial have less chance than they. I give you one minute to open this door or I will eviscerate the lot of you.” He spat.

The alarm was annoying and starting to give him a headache, so the Sith located the nearest siren and reaching out with The Force crushed the metal box before ripping it from the ceiling and sending it crashing into the ray shield. “Aska, see if you can find the self-destruct switch.” He called over the comm before walking up to the door.

The Ray Shield disappeared slightly into the walls around the blast door, but it wouldn’t go far back. So Malerion began stabbing his lightsaber at an angle into the wall and door, looking for the shield emitters. After a couple of attempts he found one, which although didn’t collapse the shield weakened it considerably. With a smile to camera as he passed the Sith then moved to the otherside looking for another emitter.

With her boot pressed down on the chest of a droid struggling to save itself, Aska quickly took aim with her SE-45 before blasting a hole through what passed as its face. She looked around the corridor but she was alone with the dozen droids that had approached in waves, at least for the moment. Even as she finally worked to catch her breath, the metallic clank clank of another approaching squad was difficult to miss.

”You’re joking, right?” the clone replied through her comms as she coped with her labored breathing, her attention narrowed in on the ever nearing mechanized soldiers direction. ”All this work to secure the place and now you want to blow it to hell?!” Sighing, she looked to the floor as she shook her head. ”Let me guess, if you can’t play with it then no one can?” she added before spinning on her heels and began to run for the railing of the platform. As she neared the barrier, the clone activated her propulsion system in her boots and took to the air.

There was only one place to find what Malerion searched and it was sealed away behind the rayshielded door that he worked to undermine. The factory workers were already trapped like rats, panicking as they awaited the Sith’s eventual infiltration of the room, but as the mercenary hovered beyond the glass viewing port at their backs, it was clear to them that their fate was truly sealed.

“Wait! Wait, please!” a man cried out, throwing his hands in the air to show his submission. Quickly he looked from the hovering mercenary to the display that showed Malerion slicing through the door. “We accept your offer! Please just don’t kill us! I… We don’t want to die!”

“Shut your mouth, Kline!” the Foreman barked, slamming his fists into the console. Even despite his size however, the situation had proven that he was no longer the power player in this factory. His workers began to advance on him, backing him into a corner before piling on him and restraining his arms and legs whilst Kline moved to end the lockdown.

“Perhaps.” He replied to Aska, although what she said was true, it was more a scare tactic than anything else. The comm system probably picked up his request so everyone inside knew that he was happy to vaporise everything there if he didn’t get his way. Which seemed to work as shortly after Aska had moved over to their little get together the Ray Shield disappeared. Malerion pulled his lightsaber free of the wall and moved back towards the centre of the corridor waiting for the blast doors.

As the doors opened they would all see a snarling Sith, a red blade illuminating the left side of his body. Malerion purposefully projected a wave of ill thought and deed out through The Force so anyone who got near him would feel a cold sense of dread run down their spines. Stepping forward he barked. “Shut all the droids down now and which one of you is in charge?”

His blade moved around the room pointing at each of them before it rested on the tied up man. “Ah, no need, I found him.” Stepping up towards him he sliced his blade through the middle of the shin’s severing the bottom of each leg from the rest of him. He squealed in pain, rolling on the floor trying to grab his destroyed limbs with his tied hands. “This is the price of disobedience.” He shouted at the group, his blade plunging into the right thigh, the blade immediately sealed the wound so he wouldn’t bleed out, but after a moment the Foreman instead passed out.

“Now which one of you is Kline?”

A squeeze of the trigger and soon the panel of glass that separated Aska from the others was shattered, the clone zipping in through the breach before touching down, pinning the workers in a corner between her and Malerion. To these people, they must have appeared as devils come to collect their souls. For Malerion and Aska, this was just another tuesday.

One man nodded his head furiously as Malerion barked that the droids be shut down and rushed to a terminal, only for Aska to intervene and shove the man down to the floor after he had input his credentials. Stepping over him as he pulled himself away, he looked up to the emotionless visor of her helmet. ”Don’t take it the wrong way, pal,” Aska said calmly, though there was no denying the mocking undertone. ”I just don’t trust you,”

Much transpired behind her as she worked towards broadcasting the facility wide shut down order but it all soon came to an end as the Foreman blacked out from the pain, the clone turning in time to watch the smoke billow from his stumps. Leaning back on the console as it beamed out the command, Aska lifted her helmet off and plucked a cigarra from behind her chest plate. As she lit the smoke, none opted to step forward for the Sith’s second request.

”C’mon, no need to be shy,” the clone teased as she locked eyes with the man she watched unseal the door. They locked gaze for a brief moment before he gulped hard and stepped forward from the others. Quickly he fell to his knees and cowered in fear at Malerion’s feet, eyes clenched shut in anxious anticipation for what may come next.

The middle aged man stumbled forward from the group closest to the now unconscious foreman. Malerion couldn’t help but smile as the man grovelled at his feet, this is how it was meant to be, not only on this backwater planet but all across the Galaxy. The mob falling at the feet of the Sith, of him. His blade disengaged, the red glow disappearing as Kline looked up at him. “Stand up. You are in charge now.” Malerion said, taking a step back allowing him to easily stand.

“You are to reprogram all droids to confirm me as their master.” He said in a deep voice, his sickly yellow eyes staring into Kline’s very soul. “Once that is done, you will all begin preparing the facility to be dismantled and taken off the planet. It is not safe here and I would have all my subjects safe.” Malerion continued with a fake smile as he looked over the assembled group. “You will bring your families as I doubt we will return to Hyporri. Kline, if any choose not to follow us, you have my permission to kill them. Or send a droid to do it for you.” The man was gobsmacked, his mouth wide open at the command. “And if I find Kline was harmed or killed, I will murder every single one of you.”

With that he turned and began his way out of the room. “Have your droids bring him to my ship. It will be outside shortly.” He said, gesturing to the unconscious foreman.
