There are an abundance of teachers who are showing Acolytes aspects of the Alter Pillar of the Force. V's classes will focus more on his area of expertise; The Pillar of Sense. In his classes students will learn the basics (and sometimes the more complex) ways that Sense can be used. These classes may sometimes involve challenges, missions, or duels, depending upon what V needs at the time or wishes to study. To keep classes moving, there will be a time limit on posts. If you don't complete the class, you will not obtain credit. More classes may be added as needed. First come first serve for now. You may only sign a character up for ONE class (this rule may be bent depending on circumstances)
All of these classes will have the potential to be mission based, as such signing up means you will get a new skill (or enhance a current skill) and possibly a mission! It's a double whammy. This is because V enjoys putting students in danger for them to really grasp the concept of whatever they have learned.
Force Sense Basics
The basics of this pillar will be taught here. How to sense through the Force. All Force Sensitives are gifted with an innate internal alarm that goes off just before danger strikes. It provides the Force User with just enough time to react...if they are fast enough. Through training, students will begin to become aware of this sensation. They will be opened up to the world around them, connected in ways they may not have known to be possible. Many Force powers need a strong grip on Force Sense. So don't neglect the opportunity to develop our sensory abilities. New Acolytes will be required to take this class first before moving on to certain other classes. More experienced Acolytes may skip this class by V's discretion and depending on the class they wish to take.
Force Sense Challenge
Prerequisite Class: Force Sense Basic (unless otherwise stated)
Unlike the first class, this one will focus on really tuning students to the Force. They will be pushed to really open up. They will begin to be able to sense people, listen to the subtle hints the Force tell them, and they will be doing this by surviving. No weapons, no powers allowed, just survival. Whether from another Sith, Viole, or any creatures of Korriban. Students will be expected to survive using Force Sense to warn them of danger, to detect when a non-Fore using life form is approaching. The first class was more theory, learning in a controlled environment. This one is learning through application in a seemingly uncontrolled environment, but is in fact very controlled (not trying to lose any Acolytes here...). Using this power in a setting that will be the difference between making it out with minimal scratches and making it out without an arm.
Force Listening
This class will build on the things taught in Force Sensing. It will allow the student to listen in on a conversation from far away, or weed out other noises in favor of one particular sound. Maybe you need to pick up information from a local cantina, or spy on your target's conversation from far away. Mayhaps you're tracking someone and they have ducked out of your line of sight. After completion of this class, students will be able to do these things with some focus required.
Force Sight
Your eyes may lie to you, or someone may be lying to your eyes. So don't always trust them. Instead, rely upon the Force for it shall always show you the truth. In this class, students will learn how to close their eyes and (as V says) 'Trade beauty for truth'. Seeing through the Force is a difficult ability to master, and heavy usage can cause someone to lose their physical sight. V will teach students how to view things in their immediate surroundings through the Force, however, starting out with just simple things like seeing the Force within someone, or allowing them to "dispel" an illusion / work around blindness.
Mind Trick / Thought Shield
The mind is a terrible thing to waste. So don't. Learn to use your mind as one of your greatest weapons. Sharpen it into a fine blade, capable of piercing the defenses of others, bend their mind to your will and cause them to forget things, see things, feel your own feelings. Don't neglect offense for defense, however. This class will also instruct students in the art of protecting their own mind from assaults. Students will be able to hide their thoughts, feelings, intentions, and defend against assault, from those of a similar power rank as them. Stronger sources may be able to bypass such defenses, but with the right training you can still give them hell.
(Other possible classes that will become available upon requests; Telepathy, Stealth, [Light or Dark can be taught, but Dark Side Healing will take precedent as this is the Sith; Force Healing can be taught in a solo thread upon request] Healing for Acolytes and above; Shock and Illusion for Crusaders and above(possibly Lightning too))
