Where is that quote from...I swear I've watched something recently with it in there...

Anyways, yepp. Armor is off. You still have a well-trained, well-disciplined soldier that's pretty peeved you stole his clothes. So now you have the embarassment of getting put down by a naked opponent. :D

@Stormthroe
That's what Cpt. America said to Ironman.

pff mandos just a bunch of cowards. Take that armour off and what do you get?

Well they are exactly the same, if your a coward your a coward, armour doesn't make anyone less or more of a yellow belly.

Updated with a find that @Prudence found, bringing this on par with canon Mandalorian armour, if a bit more simplistic.

To be honest theu just kinda leave a bad taste in my mouth. Even on the Wiki page, they're not defined at all, just kinda mentioned, and it seems like it's gonna be used as an excuse to dodge death or pull off stuff they really shouldn't be able to.

Nothing wrong with magnetic boots. They are handy, if not frustrating and might cause issues for your ankles if you happen to get stuck in a sudden explosive decompression.

They used in one of the dartg vader comic's or mentioned. Basicaly station exposed to space. Goons sucked out and then darth vaders accomplace menstioned them. They hardly OP they used in zero G fighting and would be genric if stand alone.

I think he means the other applications of them. Such as, someone tries to force push you on a metallic floor, you don't budge. Someone kicks you in the chest on a metallic floor, you don't budge.

Twas one of the reasons mine were asked to be removed!

@Andrewza

... You just wrote about it surving the suction of space, people getting sucked out while the user did not. Now you want to dispute magnetic strength.

Surving being sucked out is all so depended on strength. Sure the boots need more info but has a concept they fine in my eyes. And i dont even like Mandos.

But if they can survive that, then they can survive a force push, pull etc. mangna boots are magna boots.

no. Not all magnets are equal so why should it survive any of it. If it is strong enough to walk around in a environment Zero G it is not strong enough to survive being sucked out in a vacume or a force push. It may stop a kick pushing you back but at the same time your movement is slowed dur to the mag boot.

Are you serious.

You stated the known canon application was X person surviving being sucked out into space. There is no listing of varied strength of Magnet. There is also no way to measure, what kind of magnet will survive a force push.

There is one version of these things in canon that's been mentioned here. Therefore that's what we're going to have to base it on.

Nitpicking helps no one!

I will be stating exactly what the boots can and cannot do when I clean up the armour profile.

(huffs and puffs) Why hasn't this been approved yet! I demand to see a supervisor as to why this work of Tech Submission Art has not been cleared! JK but yeah still, the more I look at this thing the more I have ideas (and a pic!) on how to make a custom armor set :D
