If a character chose to bring, say, a CR90 corvette into a thread, they could theoretically bring over a hundred armed NPC's to a thread.

That's incorrect, on a few different levels... First of all, as I stated, it's not a designated combat vessel... It's been refitted to allow maximum capacity, comfort, and flexibility, turning the old, and outdated Clone Wars Troop transport, into something akin to a pleasure yacht...

Also, on another level... I'll copy paste some stats below so you can compare/contrast vehicles size, and application... Since you people seem to know the names of most of the ships in the star wars universe, but don't seem to grasp their size... I'd like to remedy this misconception that my ship, is large... ^.^

Now, after seeing ALL the fun toys... Wait, I take that back, not EVEN all the fun toys... Like a QUARTER of them... After seeing all the biggest, best known ships out there... Compare them to my little bitty ship. And tell me, what the "big" problem is... Because I REALLY don't see an issue with a flying casino, with a few heavy lasers and a tractor beam... I didn't even mention SHIELDS, which were one of the essential systems removed during the refit. So yeah... NOT a big threat to the galaxy. In fact, the point is to have people come in and spend their money... Not DIE. >.<"

I think, to prevent alot of issues like this from arising... There SHOULD be an "approval" stamp, issued... Because sometimes it isn't as simple as... Big ship = too much power... I mean, look... The Sun Crusher was TINY! But it LITERALLY destroyed whole SOLAR SYSTEMS... But I guess it's outside the "Big Ship" rule... Lol?

Money isn't an issue since I'm not buying anything. And neither am I starting this character from "The Ground Up"... Part of Lyliths BIO is growing up under the umbrella of her rich father... She could have ZERO credits to her name, and ask her father for the money, theoretically... But per her bio, she left home and started her own little traveling "market" or caravan... She's a gypsy. A REALLY fancy gypsy, with a 300m ish long ship, carrying a bunch of off world merchants, and runaways, and rich people who want to see the galaxy while riding a living fossil of a ship... It's as simple as that, sweetie. Lol

Bite marks? On the passengers on her ship, yeah, lol... But her incisors are small, almost unnoticeable even when she's extended them for feeding... Lylith is in a line of mixed blood between Anzati and Corellians... (Humans) Her ancestors changed genetically over millenia, with only a slight variation from both races. Although they don't eat the brains of their victims, they are parasites and instead, feed off the blood of their victims... Or rather the plasma within the blood. They have no natural biorhythm, because they have no blood, theirselves. Lylith doesn't blush... Lol... And I did mention at the top, that Lylith is Corellian/Anzati race... I'm not sure whether you saw that or not...

Lylith is a character I've developed over years and years. I've been RP'ing star wars games for almost as long... Before that, it was FireFall, and before THAT it was all Medieval and Zombies, and swords, shields, Babies, motherhood, and sex... I'm not here to compete. I'm here to write a story... That's why I'll only make ONE character at a time, and that's why I started with my favorite story.

Lylith is me. She's what I see in myself, that I'm too afraid to show, IRL. I enjoy RP'ing as her, and I enjoy seeing her grow, and experience, and I like having her do new things... But, I won't change the story I tell, because someone made a rule a long time ago, that prevents me from telling that story. I'll simply RP in the "Non Story" section, or whatever... And that's something else I have a bit of a problem with, because you don't' seem to have a designated IN CHARACTER, story, or THIS IS THE OFFICIAL STAR WARS RP section... And even your Daedalus section has a set parameter that apparently you're not supposed to go outside of... So as far as I can tell, there's nowhere for me to tell the story I want to tell... =[

Right now, I'm developing a faction so I can bypass the rules set for "Non Faction Indies" and I'll be starting it once I meet some new people, and have a few more OOC interactions besides... "You're hot" and "I'd do your character"... >.< So, until I get my faction up, consider Lylith an OOC, not in the main story, side character... Kay? Just to make everything CRYSTAL clear... So I don't get in trouble, and I don't piss even more people off... Lol

Added to that. the ship has not been subjected to the tech approval process and, as such, is not recognised in RP anyway.

Throwing facts and figures from canon ships around is fine, but at the end of the day, the ship is too large, and its not approved - it has to go.

Not even. The character needs to be a part of an existing faction, to which the Faction leader can apoint the character as captain - not transfer its ownership. The ship, and its crew remain the faction's, and not the character's.

There is no OOC character profile area of the board. All characters posted, bar fan works (which can't be used in RP), must meet the site's rules.
If you refuse to play by the site's rules, I'm sorry that you feel entitled to be an exception to the rules that hundreds of other people follow, but your best bet is to log out because there are going to be no concessions for you on any of the points you've tried to contest.

Cass I believe she was working on a faction to be able to use the ship and isnt RPing with anything to do with it until she gets through all the stuff needed to be done. Yes the ship is for the faction but if she is running said faction she can use whatever ship she feels like which could be this one. I dont think its a huge deal here she is new and will understand the rules better as time goes on and goes through the faction and tech approval stuff.

Well, I've read enough.

You can think you're above the rules all you want. You can think you're a special snowflake, and you can sit here and be stubborn and not listen to senior members giving you good advice. That kind of attitude's going to get you absolutely nowhere, not on this site or any other. We have rules for a reason, and if you're too stubborn to follow them then you're only doing yourself a disservice by negatively impacting on your own experience on the site.

The requested changes were, really, fairly smalltime, and more members have been asked to change more. I'm not making a special case just for you, and considering your attitude, I don't even feel like being nice about it.

So, this character profile will be archived until you decide you want to adhere to the same rules everyone else is expected to and make a serious attitude adjustment, since you seem to be under some delusion that you're entitled to to be above site rules.

I sincerely hope you take some time to reflect on your behaviour. Lock.
