I honestly don't know why I keep coming back here. I hardly RP and I don't like half the people here. I guess it's just to keep up to date with Star Wars stuff and a place to post my Wasteland Weekend stuff.

So @VVVVVV brought me here. He and I had plans and then I totally flaked out on his Mando indie faction, but it's ok because he flaked out on my indie faction. So now we go back and forth flaking out on each other's stuff.

@Cassanova @Tribunal Power were the main dudes I remember from when I first joined, they were pretty willing to help out and give suggestions on stuff as SW was not my most knowledgeable area back then. Cassa needs to get his ass back here because I miss talking to that dude, he was cool as a cucumber. @Vencu approved my first piece of tech, as spartan as it was. Funny thing is I never really interacted with the admins until this year. @Lucid kinda dragged me into talking with them, he usually sent random ideas my way and stuff. Skype chats were fun with the gang that does calls. @TweedPawn figuring out your house and pointing out all the stuff weird about that super cheap house you were looking at, and just generally shooting the shit about da popo academy, NOLA, and the glorious state of Oklahoma. Then playing a disastrous game of D&D with Pros, Laurent, Kyle, Johnny, Graham, et al.

@Kiro is probably one of my talk to this person the most on here. She's super chill usually and gives me yummy recipes, so that keeps me happy. We have yet to do an entire RP thread.

Talking tech with @The Kyzer and @Appolyon or whatever usually gets me a laugh now and then, or alternatively I'll randomly RAGE IN CAPS about amazingly stupid EU tech to Kyle or @Green Ranger (caps lock after all is cruise control for cool).

Then there's the usual admin team, Sith leadership. @Marf is pretty chill to talk to on skype, also another person I should really do a thread with at some point. @Bee turned out to be fun. I thought she hated me for like the longest time.

And for being barely 13 years old, @GABA is surprisingly eloquent. Not sure how we didn't ban her 4ever though.

There are others, I just have terrible memory.

What keeps me here is the great pay for being an admin (stiiiillll waiting on that paycheck, guys. Guys? hello? I'm starting to suspect I don't actually get paid. I mean, c'mon), the community (almost everyone is pretty approachable), and I've made some friends here. If I left, I only know they'd drag me back by sending me links all the time on skype and saying "look at this, X is doing stuff".

This is my first RP site and the only one I really plan on being on for the foreseeable future. I didn't even know what forum RP was until I just happened to stumble across a link to this site while I was trolling the depths of the interwebs looking for Star Wars material. It didn't take me long to become hooked and even as I've looked at other SW RP sites, none of them held the appeal that this one does. There's so many active people and so many people that I have come to really enjoy talking to (regardless of whether they feel the same). I didn't really know anyone until I happened to get thrown into a thread with @The Kyzer @BLADE @Benvenu7 @Matt Astroseph and had a blast ripping apart a large city. What can I say? I have no plans of leaving now.

Jeez, to start would be to go back years.

When I first came to this site, I couldn't find a single vet to RP with me, and I don't blame them. I was horrific(compared to me being slightly less horrific now). I mean, unholy hell I was absolute crap at RPing, but some real good RPers who have long since left this place helped me a along, notably Gex, Insanity and Zach, I'd tag them but they haven't logged in in god knows how long, years, I miss em. In the earlier stages, honestly, Fusion helped keep me on the site. I had a hateboner for that guy a mile long and I killed more of his characters than I've hunted down and killed anyone else's.

Fast forward a few years, they're gone, so many gone, I'm here. I like to say 'them always return' but, looking through old VMs, no, they don't. Sometimes they stop by, leave their mark, and disappear without a word. I RPed a lot, but I didn't tend to pick the people that lasted, I don't always have good taste in friends I suppose xD. The last two years have been a blur, I can so vividly remember my first two years on the site, but the next are difficult. That's when my depression set in, I know that, and it's likely added to my memory being so faulty. I met some great people though and got to RP with the best of the best, to name a few, @TweedPawn (You were so sweet and nice, to say you've not changed would be a lie though, you've gotten nicer ^_^) @Marf (You're always fun to RP with) @TAC (You're a blast to talk to, always) @The Duke (You magnificent bastard, you, you've always lifted my spirits.) @Ben (I wanted to say something nice about ya, but nothing describes how much you mean to me, you're the best.) and @Rom (My god mate, you were my reason to go on some days, I got out of bed because I wanted to help you) @Dimitri @Kiro you three are fantastic, the best Sith I've ever met, working as an AFL was a blast with you three.

@Sreeya and @Padme too, @Sreeya I enjoy every conversation I've had with you, arguments and all, you were certain a help in kicking my ass into shape. Padme, your forgiveness, kindness, and helpfulness knows no bounds. I don't know what I'd be without you. @Brandon Rhea too, most of our conversations have been 'professional' at best, but you do a phenominal(sp?) job of upkeeping this site, and talking to you is just pure fun.

I like the people here. Star Wars as an interest of mine has risen and fallen over the years, but you people are too great to leave. Somedays, ya'll have been my own friends. I need better friends. That aside, I don't think I could quit ya'll.

SWRP is crack, plain and simple.

I've tried to quit. But I just keep getting withdrawal symptoms and end up relapsing and ending up back here.

I was invited here by a member named @Keinushi. Both of us were in a few writing groups on a site called Crunchyroll. I had mentioned to her in the past that I used to be an admin on a couple of old Star Wars sites and a couple Star Wars writing groups on Crunchyroll (all of which have since died off). One day Keinushi asked if I was interested in joining her on a Star Wars writing forum called TheStarWarsRP. It sounded interesting and I thought I'd give it a try as recently one of my more favored writing forums (non-Star Wars) had been dying from inactivity. I initially started by hanging out mostly with Keinushi through training and eventually venture to associations with other members. This was back in the Fourth Timeline, where I was largely using a Bogan alchemist named Albedo Apeiron (and occasionally Gabriel Djibril, whose purpose had been to assassinate Tusa the Hutt, which I came very close to accomplishing). What I think ultimately led me to not leave after those first few weeks was the community. Sites I've been on before were either a small close-knit group of friends/associates or a large chaotic group. Here it managed to be big and orderly/friendly (except for Boli. What an ass.). And it's what's kept me staying here to this day: the community. That, and I enjoy how creative this forum can be in building a gigantic story together. Plus I enjoy administrative work. I think that's why @Sreeya and I work very well together. She pulls out the big guns and I fill out all the red tape.

I'll give some random shoutouts to people.

@Radzkie - Thanks for all your help, and especially thank you for your honesty. Whereas so many people would complain about my antics in the past behind my back, you were kind and honest enough to bring the issues to light to me, allowing me to grow and improve.

@Apollyon - Thanks for all you've done for the Sith faction, both when I was Faction Leader and before. There's been times that I've found your attitude... disappointing? In the past you were a bit blunt in your competitiveness and tended to rub people the wrong way. However, you showed me faith in people is not a pipe dream. Over time, you've grown and improved as both a PvPer and a person. Again, thank you for all your hard work in the faction. You deserve the Warmaster.

@Bee - I don't know where to start. You have been a wonderful AFL and companion over the months. You helped me build up the pieces of my previous administration and shot it off into excellence. Your hard work and dedication really shined. You were my Weiss, helping me with write-ups and templates, making my rip-offs look awesome (cause let's be honest, you're the creative one when it comes to templates, all I ever did was steal other people's templates, modifying them for my own purposes). Though you are no longer an Imperium FL, the work you put into the faction remains a pillar in its structure. Also, you're both a great tech admin and a writer, willing to work with others to compile an awesome story.

@Bianca - You get nothing.

@Ben - Um... thanks for the fish?

@Black Noise - Thanks for being a wonderful person, and helping both the Chiss and the Sith in many avenues. You helped keep the gears of the Imperium going. We were a great team.

@Brandon Rhea - Thanks for all the spoilers, and tolerating me over the years. It has to be someone with great resolve to tolerate my crap and naming abilities. That reminds me, I need to send you that Timeline Prologue. I made sure to name them the best I could.

@Cassanova - Thanks for all that you've done. You were a confidant and a partner. Let us continue to scheme in the future if/when you return.

@Empress - Thanks for all the help you've given me over the years.

@GABA - Rocks fall. Everyone dies.

@Green Ranger - Nuff said.

@Jiang Winters - You've been a wonderful friend over the years. Your help and dedication have done so much for me. Your Kushari plot was genius and the thread we did for it is still one of my favorites. Also, thank you very much for accepting my request to joining me as an Imperium AFL and keeping things moving. We miss you and hope you'll come back.

@Keinushi - You of all people I have the most to thank for. Without you, I would never have found myself here. In the last couple years before I had joined this site, I had stopped doing Google searches to find writing forums and instead when by invitations. Without your invitation, I would never have come here and met so many wonderful people and written so many excellent stories. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

@Kiro - Thank you for all you've done to help me over the years and tolerate my crap my working through and helping the faction succeed.

@Malon - Thank you as well for all you've done for me over the years. Since the fourth timeline we've worked on stories together, stories I feel are solid. I hope to continue to be able to write with you in the future.

@Mars @Mr. Teatime - Thanks for all the work you've done in protecting the faction over the years, and working with me.

@Padme - Thank you for not killing me for all the stuff I've put on your plate over the years.

@Rom - Thank you for believing in me. Where many saw me as a liability, you stood up for me, defended me, and kept me as part of your team. It was an honor working alongside you. Geist Weiss would never have survived to today had you not chosen to have Darth Vereor give him another chance.

@Sreeya - You too I have a lot to thank. You believed in me and kept me around, despite me being such a pain (OOCly and ICly). It was an honor and a privledge to have worked under you and continue to working with you to this day. I still have fond memories of Noob Hill; my first taste of SWRP's blend of PvP was definitely interesting.

@Vencu - Thanks for all you've done over the years by working with me and writing alongside me. I look forward to future endeavors.

And many others.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to sign Boli's suicide pact.

A combination of people like @Livgardist, who keeps coming up with brilliant ideas for roleplay, as well as @Ben stop me from leaving. @Vencu has always been helpful, supportive and friendly, and @Lucid also gets a shout-out for being just as supportive as Vencu and the others.

I am also pretty sure Ben knows where I live, and is monitoring my mail.

Also @Rom, is a BAE.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned @Demiurge. I totally miss that dude T___T
I had thought of saying something about Xeno, but he's never returned, so I didn't see a need for a shoutout.

I found the page by googling "Star Wars RP".
I was not sure why I should join, seeing my awfull writing skills.

And then I actually read this:
http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/index.php?threads/khelsea-vong.58371/ (Parts 1 to 8)

Immediately I knew: Aye, I am home.

What then happened was nothing short of amazing. I got greeted by a whole bunch of peeps, received help by creating my first char, invited to RP's and suddenly found myself in the middle of the Jedi-part of the story (in my perception, at least).

I came for the good mood between the staff, but stayed because of all these good people.

I am not as active as usual in the last time due to a family problem, one I am still struggling to overcome, but it won't be long until I am finally back at full posting speed again.

TL;DR: Because I love this Forum.
