Do not be afraid to continue towards the central spire, I shall add more once there. Start crossing the rings and I might add a thing or to to make it interesting. Most of you have just arrived, so remember that it is a considerable distance to the spire. Don't solve it in just one post. I don't want to hear "He used his Jedi power to fly over all the spinning rings." Make it a bit interesting add things like how your character reacts to seeing people in front or lagging behind. Do they feel compelled to help someone who is struggling? Do they feel like they must push themselves harder to beat the other contestants? Construing feelings is the best way to get to know your character. Always think about how past and present actions would effect their thoughts.

At this moment I'd say any of you can reply as it won't effect the story until new obstacles arrive. We'll get a post order going later.

I may have misunderstood, but i had assumed that the we more than the 3 of us on the platform - so I did not intend to cast Teelo as the impulsive Jedi (while leaving the possibility open) any more than a random NPC

Almost instantly after posting a thought occurred to me. The rules state that the only gear we may bring is a lightsaber. Until now I have been just assuming those rules applied to the tourney proper, especially as the rules also make reference to "the tournament." And the opening post says, the tournament has yet to begin. Hence my use of a rope as I was under the impression equipment restrictions did not yet apply. However, at the risk of making a rod for my own back, do those rules apply to pre tournament navigation as well? I am unclear. If I have OOC misunderstood I can A) slightly alter the previous to remove the rope (I have other ways of doing it) and B) Not use the rope further.

Of course, if it's all too late for that then it is what it is. As is what may come by way of punishment..... curse my honesty!

What I don't understand is why people are springing madly into the air and/or smacking their faces...
A) I thought gravity was supposed to be constant, just perception of it changed?
B) it's only a 12 foot wall - no one should need to jump with a 6 foot human giving them a proper leg up
