I've gathered you all here today to because you all have relatively new Jedi, and if I'm not mistaken, would like to have more threads.
Now, some of your characters haven't been approved as of yet, but I'm hoping this will give you a chance to get to know them better and expand on the profiles you have started. Whether or not admins will approve of the ordeal is somewhat up in the air, but it is stated that you can RP with anyone without approval (Roleplaying in Main and Open threads is still not feasible if the character hasn't been approved of course) if they are willing, and seeing as this thread will not effect the main storyline in any way shape or form, I don't believe it will be a problem.

The premise is this:

  1. Any Jedi may participate in this tournament.
  2. The setting will be a predetermined location of my choosing and will be designed to test the Jedi involved to make moral choices, while at the same time pit them against one another in order to win the challenge.

Honestly I thought that would be a longer list, but here we go...

The Setting

A series of concentric rings forming a maze roughly the size of a small city on a relatively unknown or sparsely populated planet. (I would choose Tython, but the Sith had to go render it relatively unpleasant after a demonstration of power) A place where many Jedi had been brought in the past to be tested in the very same way.

The Goal

To pass through these rings and the challenges they offer to reach the very center of the maze and claim the title of victor.

The Rules
  • Harming any other participants directly will result in that Jedi being disqualified.
  • Both Initiates and Knights may participate in the tournament and I shall strive to make the challenges equally difficult for all.
  • The only gear a Jedi may bring is a lightsaber, anything else will also lead to disqualification.
  • Teams are not forbidden, but remember, only one can claim the bragging rights at the end, so do so on your own accord.
  • The challenges may render your character unconscious, but everything involved will be non-lethal.
  • I will present as much content in the thread as I can, but it is also encouraged for you to make it fun and create challenges for your character.
  • That being said, you may not create a challenge that will hinder other players, do so only if it affects your character alone.
Thread Link
This is a rather rough version.
I'd like to ask at least @Valen Pelora if this sounds alright.

All in all, pretty much a Maze Runner/Goblet of Fire ripoff, but with lightsabers.

@Lordvader96 @Ender Jedi @Suede @Anthkir Kinclo @Ulysses @Kyle: The Rogue +A few other Jedi I can't seem to remember, as well as any that want to join.

Posting Order:
Ender, Swan, Ulysses, Edgeworth +New Additions.

I'm devoting most of my time into making new non-Jedi roles, but I can always create a new Jedi.

This sounds great! I would hope we could involve all new members with a Jedi character. I would be good with working through approvals even as they participated in the tournament. Let me know what you need from me, this seems like a really awesome idea. I'm willing to help any way that I can.

@Talon maara What about the predator one? What happened to that hm? XD

None of you guys like Predator do you? No? Not a fan of killer aliens? I thought all Star Wars fans liked scary aliens? Come on. I have to have somebody to sacrifice when Talon and I are running away.

Looks like a really good idea, and I'd be totally keen
I'm just concerned that Al-Ric might think it a bit frivolous, because he's an earnest sort of chap...

You don't have to by any means. After all, there is a war going on and many might find it a bit of a waste to train during such a time, but he could possibly be interested in it just to see what kind of potential it might unlock. I agree that it works better if your Jedi has some troubled history.

I just wanted to register my appreciation for what would otherwise be a great initiative for new members
I feel cheated by Al-Ric's pride...

I would strongly encourage participating in the thread. It could be a great way to acclimate into the faction, there may even be a "reward" at the end.

now if someone with sufficient authority were to tell him to do it, I'm sure he would... :)

(i.e. @Dark child, please put me down as a "yes please, I'll think of an excuse")

I really hate to sound like a whiner, but any idea how long this might take? I have a couple of busy weeks coming up and I don't want to commit to something too big.

It's not like things move incredibly fast around here. I'm rather busy during the week as well, and I don't think we'd have a problem waiting for you if it comes to it.
