It was refreshing for Megeshi to hear such a viewpoint, and she smiled softly upon hearing Yvain's support for her opinions. Though she was certainly not timid, she had often tried to shy away from such philosophical debates during her time as a Knight. It had been known for some of her peers to disagree (sometimes quite strongly) with her stance on the Order and its responsibilities. It was clear to Megeshi that Yvain's age and experience had provided to his wisdom greatly, and his first-hand accounts of times now long-gone gave him a uniquely perceptive point of view, something Megeshi respected strongly.
Turning to face Yvain directly, she stared once more as she thought for a moment, before replying.
"I suppose... the Council. After all, no one person can claim to be completely morally correct. Our Council was established to deliberate our most pressing issues, no? Then I think we should utilize it as such. From there, we can entrust the Council to decide our position. But as I said before, a neutral position should be sought after in situations where no one side can be decided as overtly harmful to the galaxy, or the safety of its people."
Megeshi pondered for a moment and stared out to the crowds of Coruscant, leaning harder onto the support to her right. She was slowly becoming a bit more at ease with her surroundings as the possibility of an outside threat diminished. Perhaps in her head, at least. After all, she may have lost the element of surprise, but a fellow Jedi to fight by her side was protection enough, and she was sure that Sace wasn't completely hopeless in combat, either.
If it had to come to that.
