Lightsaber Jousting

Hey, not sure if this is in the right place, I hope it is, though. Anyways, a random thought struck me when I was watching this jousting movie, I believe it was called A Knights Tale, and I thought to myself "What if they jousters with lightsabers?" Does anyone know of an instance either in canon or EU where someone jousters with lightsabers. Of not, what do you think of the concept. I think jousting with lightsabers would be infinitely cooler that it's medieval brother. Just a random thought that I wanted to share :)

Well, the closest thing I could think of would be in The Clone Wars animated cartoon, where Obi-Wan Kenobi used a lightsaber while on a speederbike, as well as in Jedi Academy, where you ride a speederbike and use a lightsaber.

Aside from the aforementioned scene in the older animated series, can't think of anything that involves legitimate jousting with a lightsaber (mounted 'saber combat, yes, but no actual jousting.) Also, I'd suggest the use of a lightsaber pike, as a conventional saber may be a bit short for this short of thing.

Why? What was wrong with it? Keep in mind I haven't actually seen it in like what, seven years? I hardly remember any of it. Just the jousting and how grievous was really weird.

Yea, I guess speeder bike and lightsaber would be more like jedi cavalry or something. But maybe dew back + lightsaber pike + cortosis armor is the next galactic sport trend? :9:
