"The Jedi are incompetent. The Sith unstable. Why, People of the Galaxy, do we let these groups dictate to us our lives? Why should we let them rule over us, like mystical Gods? They are not Gods. They are merely men, corrupted by their magical powers into thinking themselves superior. Why do we stand for this? Their Religious Crusades, have caused too much damage, too many deaths. Why should we be drawn into their wars? Why should we follow their rules? The Jedi are hypocrites, cowards who would rather protect themselves than defend the people who oh so foolishly relied on them. The Sith pretend to care, pretend to want Order and Unity, yet they will do anything to ensure their rule is supreme, going as far as Genocide to make sure their position of power is safe. Do you know what I say to this? Do you know what we should all say to this? Two, simple words that, if ushered by enough people, could bring about an age of prosperity in which there is no "upper class" or "lower class", no rich or poor, no powerful and powerless. You wish to know what those words are?

No more!"

Personality

"People have mixed views on me. Some see me as a bright, shining light ready to lead society into a pain-free future. Others a naive, bloodthirsty revolutionary intent only on spreading my twisted views. People may think what they wish. I am what I am."

Kazimir is a visionary. From a young age he liked to day dream and draw and write about whatever came to mind. His imagination is vast and his ability and capacity for thought quite impressive. His intellect has always been superior to most people because of his upbringing, and he is well cultured and mannered as a result.

He is normally quite a gentle man, and in normal circumstances dislikes the use of violence. He prefers speaking to fighting, and often tries to avoid situations in which unnecessary violence will occur. This does not, however, mean that he will never engage in violent acts. He has the spirit of a revolutionary, the conviction of a zealot and a determination like no other. If he requires to kill a person, or people, to further his goals, he will. He knows that their deaths are, ultimately, for the "greater good".

He can be charming when he wants, as well as frightening, and he somehow exudes authority, combining his almost velvet-like voice with his above average height and upright posture to almost seem like some sort of mystical and powerful entity. This could be seen as quite hypocritical, as his main belief is that everyone in the Galaxy, no matter who they are, is equal. This includes Force Users and Non Force Users. This is mainly where his radical and revolutionary ideas come from, as when he looks out towards the Galaxy he only sees injustice and inequality, the big fight their petty wars and the small bow down and die for them. He wants to balance things out, set an example. He hopes he can create a perfect place, a "Utopia", in which there are no more conflicts.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Kazimir is a revolutionary, someone who is not afraid of speaking his mind and saying to the Galaxy that which not many like said. He champions his own political viewpoint to great effect, using his charismatic nature and unique political ideals to gain a lot of attention, and many sympathizers. While many may not agree with his views, they do respect what he is fighting for: A united, free and peaceful Galaxy. He is not particularly moral, and shall do what he must to spread the Revolution he desires. He also has an abundant reserve of determination, and nearly never gives up.

Do not be mistaken, however, he is a ruthless man who has no qualms doing what is necessary for his cause. He has the zeal of a crusader, and believes that ultimately whatever he does is for the greater good. While this may be viewed as a strength to some, these traits could very well turn him into an extremist, killing any who oppose him. While he likes to think power would not corrupt him, the truth is entirely different and if he somehow steps away from the path he has set himself, he could well turn into that which he is trying so hard to rid the Galaxy of.

He is also very stubborn and may sometimes ignore other people's views entirely. This is especially true when it comes to the Jedi and Sith, disregarding them as simple Religous orders who have no place in Galactic politics. He also views the "upper classes" with disgust, sometimes even outright hostility. Due to his unique viewpoints, he has become somewhat paranoid that people are out to get him, and so moves about a lot and always keeps a weapon on him, just in case.

Skills

Kazimir is a remarkable writer, poet, artist and speaker. His understanding of language is very respected and he is recognized as one of the most prominent poets in the Galaxy. He is also fluent in Galactic Basic, High Galactic, Hapan and Huttese, and has a limited vocabulary in Twi'leki and Cheunh.

His fascination with writing and language is second only to his debating skills, and the two combined allow him to very effectively champion his political ideals. He is also somewhat of a philosopher, and he admits that it is thanks to his ability to think deeply about things that he came up with what is known as "Kazumarism". He has also trained with his blaster pistol, and has become quite a good shot with it.

He also has good leadership abilities, his simple presence exudes authority. That paired with his charisma make him quite an impressive man.

Political Beliefs

Kuzumirism

Kuzumarism, named after its creator Kazimir, is a new and unique political view. It follows several of the following principles:

-All social classes must be abolished: Everyone is equal
-Wealth, food and water are shared between the People
-The majority of economical land, such as factories and farms, are given to the People, with a small amount going to the State, allowing the People to provide for themselves
-The State is responsible only for diplomatic relations, trade, protecting and policing, and is formed out of a single political party

It involved three major stages:

1) The Worker's Revolt

The lower classes, which Kazimir refers to as the "Workers", would overthrow the upper classes, which he calls the "Rich", and take their wealth and land. A small group of professional and dedicated revolutionaries would help encourage the Workers to revolt.

2) Socialist State:

A new State is formed, with the central command being the previously mentioned revolutionary group. The land would be redistributed to the Workers, and the Army, Police, Laws and Justice System will be formed. The State will govern as a traditional government would, however it will also teach and encourage the People to become independent of State rule.

3) Communitas State:

When a community of people, whether it be a town, city or planet, begin to learn how to run themselves, they shall be able to form their own governments to manage their People. The State will then form a defensive role, defending the numerous small and independent governments from outside interference. Cooperation between governments will be highly encouraged, and any government who attempts to exert power over its people or over governments for selfish reasons, such as gaining more power, will be stopped and removed by the State.

Kazimir wishes a Revolution to take place to free the People from the shackles of their own corrupt governments, which he views as power hungry and greedy, but also warlike and violent. He points out the Galaxy has been through War after War, and this is mostly because Governments are run by People who focus too much on being powerful, rather than on the well being of their people. He believes that the People deserve a government in a small portion of space that is not intent on expanding or gaining more power, but on prospering and peace. To put it in his own words:

"Have the People not suffered enough at the hands of their Lords and Masters? Do they not deserve a safe haven? A utopia in which the aim is to live your life among friends and families, not to fight and die for rich, upper class old men who want more and more credits? What is so complicated about Peace? Nothing. Nothing is complicated about Peace. But Peace rarely presents the opportunity for quick and easy power, does it?"

Separation of Religion and State

"Just because someone has access to easy power does not make them superior. It just makes them more susceptible to corruption."

Kazimir believes that Force Users, such as the Jedi and Sith, are simple Religious Orders who, because of their mystical abilities, are able to take control or gain influence over a government and effect its decisions and possibly even lead it to its destruction. He believes it best that the Jedi and Sith, as well as any other Force Sensitive entity, are removed from Galactic Politics and treated as a simple Religious sect, a popular cult with no power over State affairs.

This does not mean he wishes to kill or exile all Force Users. His initial views on it are that it is the beliefs followed by the Religious sects that lead to the corruption and instability he associates with Force Sensitives. He believes that a lone Force Sensitive who chooses to refute those beliefs can be saved from its corrupting influences and become a beneficial member of society, just as long as he or she keeps their Force usage to a minimum. Easy power can corrupt even the purest of souls, and that combined with political power or influence and turn a gentle, moral pacifist into a ruthless, merciless dictator.

Factions and People

"Our Galaxy is just so diverse. Thousands, millions even, of species. Hundreds of different cultures. Billions of planets. Trillions of people. No wonder we have so many Wars. The potential for conflict is outstanding."

Factions

The Sith Imperium: Kazimir believes the Sith Imperium is the ideological nemesis of his own beliefs. The Sith, the ruling class, take advantage of the lower class, the People. Other have criticized this view, stating that the Sith have done little cruelty to their own people, and that they are leading them into an new Golden Age. He retaliates stating that the Sith see the lower classes as inferior, weak, unequal. Such a view, paired with the Sith ideology, will eventually lead to the People being enslaved with the Sith ruling with an Iron Fist, crushing any who oppose them. "Do not be fooled by their shiny exterior, below the warm smiles and kind words if a vicious beast just waiting for you to let your guard down. Manipulation is what the Sith are best at."

The Jedi Order: Kazimir views the Jedi Order with contempt, believing it to be full of hypocritical and arrogant upper class Force Users who, because of their gifts, regard themselves as better than the People they "protect". He has come under scrutiny for publicly attacking the Jedi, but he still presses his point, stating that the Jedi are selfish, pompous and greedy, their magical powers granting them influence over the State they should not have. Again, many people defended the Jedi by saying they protect the Republic. Kazimir disregards that statement, replying that "They do not protect the Republic, they oversee it. If they wish to protect the Republic, they should join the Military. If they wish to serve the Republic, they should become Senators. Instead they act as both a major political and military entity, gaining large amounts of influence and power they should not have. And why do they have it? Because they are qualified? Because they were voted in? No. Because they just so happened to have a strong sensitivity to the Force. That is all."

The Hutt Cartel: Kazimir's opinion on the Hutt Cartel, for once, is aligned to that of many others. He views it as a corrupt, cruel, dark organization which aims to take as much as they can from whomever they can.

The Rebel Alliance: Kazimir respects the Rebels because of their opposition to the Imperial Regime, and has even decided to join them in their struggle. However, he will almost certainly disagree with them about what to do if they win, and the conflicting ideals have left him with no choice but to try to join the Civilian Resistance cell, as the True Throne wish for another Empire, something Tavil is completely against, and the Alliance to Restore the Republic wish for another Republic, which Kazimir believes it too easily corrupted, and also points out it has fell before many times, which is the sign that something is wrong with it.

People

Fais Raak: Kazimir met Fais Raak on Nexus Ortai, after he has finished promoting his book. At first, he was reluctant to have her on board but as soon as he found out she was Force Sensitive, he changed his mind. This may seem hypocritical, but he realizes that she is the first Force Sensitive to not only agree with him, but work with him, and as such he sees her as an exceptional women. The two mutually respect each other, and both have formed a strange loyalty towards one another, which will hopefully only improve as time goes by.

NPCs:

Jennifer Nar: Kazimir's pilot, well trained and provided to him by his family before his departure.

Hans Dorn and John Ly: Kazimir's bodyguards, well trained and accompany him most of the time. Provided by his family before his departure.

The Tavil Family

"How amusing that my Family was all the things I hated about the world: Rich, Lazy, Corrupt, Powerful. Yet they made me what I am today. They opened my eyes to the bigger picture. And for that, I thank them."

The Tavil Family can trace its name right back to the Clone Wars, and some could say it was a direct result of it. The Yeoman Family, of the planet Rendili were staunch supporters of the Separatist Movement, and spoke out against the Republic and its corrupt Senate even before the War broke out. After the Battle of Geonossis, the Yeomans criticized the powers given to Chancellor Palpatine, stating that this could only lead to more corruption and eventually a dictatorship. Hindsight would prove them right, though the details of their prediction were wrong, as Palpatine, or Lord Sidious, had set the entire War up to secure dominance.

Rendili itself briefly rebelled against the Republic, and a provisional government was set up, of which the Yeoman family was a key part. They encouraged the populace to fight against the Senate and for their independence. The Republic, however, had other ideas and sent a fleet to the planet to regain control. Eventually, the Provisional Government lost control of their planet and were swiftly arrested by the Republic, apart from the Yeoman Family, who had withdrawn quickly after the Rendili surrendered.

They had amassed their wealth and settled on Naboo, buying a large plot of land and soon had a very successful farm on the run. As the years went by, this farm would expand and they would buy others to form a large "Agricultural Empire". They also changed their name, and acquired new identities. And so the Tavil Family was born.

During the following years, they lead a quiet life, not wanting to draw attention to themselves. When the Empire rose from the Republic's ashes, the Tavils silently fumed, knowing they had been right all along but ignored. When news reached them of a newly formed "Rebel Alliance", they quickly sought them out, aiding them in their fight by providing credits. One of their sons, Theo Tavil, and their daughter, Pauline Tavil, joined the Alliance. Theo was killed during the Battle of Hoth, but Pauline continued on as a Communications Officer, and eventually transferred to Home One, under the command of Admiral Ackbar.

After the Empire fell and the New Republic was formed, Pauline retired to Naboo to join her family. She was welcomed back as a hero, and the Royal Family wanted to thank her personally for her efforts. This was the first moment in what was soon to become a trusted friendship between the Tavils and the Naboo Monarchy.

For the next few hundred years, they did not do much. Their enterprise expanded, and they gained many more farms and land. The Royal Family invited them over more and more, and eventually the Tavils moved to Theed, overseeing their business from there. They became a well respected and liked family, providing nearly 75% of the grain, fruit and vegetables in Theed and 20% on the planet. They also exported some of it to surrounding planets, though the main bulk of their money was made from Naboo. As time went on, they became richer and richer, eventually becoming somewhat of a "Noble" family, not having to work at all. Most of their children would get a higher education, go off to work for 5-10 years and retire, either on Theed or elsewhere.

When the Sith rose yet again, and the Galactic Alliance was destroyed, the Tavil family found themselves yet again aiding the Rebel forces. This tie, however, they had a lot more money and influence, allowing them to play a greater part. Three out of their five children decided to fight alongside the Rebel forces, all of them doing their duty. Hannah Tavil became a Major, while the other two, John and Lary, both became Sergeants.

After Darth Krayt was killed and the Empire and Alliance restored, the family again settled down quietly. Peace reigned throughout the Galaxy, and they were glad of that.

It is no surprise then, that when the Sith rose yet again in 1,002, the Tavils rushed to the aid of the Alliance. Their son, Karlos, joined up and became a Captain upon completion of his training. Loraine Tavil, the Mother of the family, traveled to Coruscant to help in the administration. Regus Tavil, the Father, became the Alliance representative on Naboo, and also supplied them with food for the troops.

And then we go to Lev Tavil. The odd one out. He stayed at home. He refused to fight. No one could fathom why. The Tavil Family had a proud history of fighting against the Sith, against Tyranny. Why is he walking all over that tradition? Over the sacrifices his ancestors made?

Then again, he always had been strange, that Lev Tavil.

Biography

Born on Naboo in the year 985 ABY, to Regus and Loraine Tavil. He had an older brother, Karlos Tavil, who was 4 at the time. The family was considered nobility on Naboo, and owned lots of land and many farms all over the planet. This allowed Karlos to have a very easy life. He was tutored at home from a very young age, and devoured books with frightening rapidity. His parents both wanted him to grow up and take over the family business, as Karlos was going to joined the Galactic Alliance military. Lev, however, had other ideas.

It started from a very young age. The Tavil Family had employed servants for generations, but because of this these servants were taken for granted. His parents used to shout and sometimes even attack servants who failed to perform their task, something their parents had done before them. Karlos was not having this, however. Because of his parents laziness, he was taken care of by these "servants", or what he liked to call "friends". Whenever his parents attacked, he would always leap in to defend, shocking all parties involved.

Then there was the farmers. The Tavil family, having bought out many farms, had large numbers of workers working for them at very low prices. The farmers had no say, however, as they did not have enough money to move elsewhere. Again, generations of family business had made this sort of behavior almost a tradition, and neither Regus nor Loraine, nor even Lev, really cared. Karlos did, though. He used to visit the farmers as they worked, sometimes even helping them out. He laughed at their jokes and stories. His parents didn't like that, either.

He then began to refuse to work with the family tutor. He said he wanted to go to school, that it sounded fun. Eventually his parents, reluctantly, agreed, and he was sent off to public school, in which he excelled. He eventually went to College, in which he studied Languages, Politics, Law and Philosophy. At home, he began studying Hapan, which he considered a fantastic and beautiful language. He loved language, writing poems at a very young age to pass the time. He also began to paint, paying a private tutor to give him lessons on classical and modern Art.

Eventually, when he left for the Royal Academy, he could speak High Galactic, Basic and was very good at Hapan. He studied to become a Lawyer, hoping to help people like the servants and farmers on his family's property. He stopped learning Hapan, already quite proficient in it, and started to learn Huttese. A curious choice, but as a Lawyer he figured his primary enemy would be criminals. Huttese was the common "criminal" language, and so he started to learn. By that time he had an easy understanding of languages, and didn't find it too difficult to learn.

He graduated from the Royal Academy and soon found work as a Lawyer, staying on Naboo to play out his first few cases before travelling abroad. He eventually found himself on Coruscant, and was shocked to his very core. A planet full of either the very rich on top, or the very poor below. Covered by thousands of spires and buildings, smog sifting up from the lower levels. He looked at it, and said:

"If this is the Jewel of the Galaxy, then what does that say about us?"

los_angeles_2100_by_andreewallin-d4xtuqz.jpg

He stayed for the next few years, winning a few cases before leaving. He returned to Naboo, this time much more confident in what he believed in. He wrote a book, "The Hapan Language", in which he discussed the Hapan language and explained how best to use it. He also released his collection of poetry in a book called "Evenings on Naboo", which later made him greatly renowned. However his stay on Naboo would not last long. He was building up what would be his final case. A case against his own blood.

"Tavil v Tavil" was to become one of the most famous cases on Naboo for decades. The Tavils had always been close, had never gotten into any trouble of any kind, and now they were being set upon by their own son. It ended, of course, with Lev winning and allowing the servants and workers to have better pay and working conditions. Karlos, however, was "exiled" from his family. Regus gave him Nubian Yacht and some credits, hired a pilot and sent him off to do his own thing. And so his own thing he did. He changed his name to "Kazimir Kuzuma", and set off into the big wide world.

Kazimir settled on Corellia, where he wrote his third book, "Politics of a Republic", in which he criticized the relationship the Jedi had with the Republic, and also delved into how a Senate could very quickly become corrupt and inefficient. This was not very popular for those in the Core Worlds, and he was often called onto the Holonet for interviews to discuss what he meant, and gained a lot of bad press. However, this has also allowed him to gian a lot of attention, and soon he was meeting up with like minded people across the Galaxy, discussing philosophy, politics and an ideal state with them. Soon he left Corellia, and delved into the Outer Rim.

It was at this time that the Sith attacked Coruscant. He already knew his Mother was on planet, helping the Alliance, and he knew his Brother was in the Alliance Military. He tried to contact them both, to see if they were alright, but no reply. After the Battle of Coruscant, the Sith had destroyed the Alliance and were now the only superpower in the Galaxy, something Kazimir could not tolerate.

star-wars-wallpaper-raise-the-imperial-flag.jpg

He learned that his Mother had died during the battle, and that his brother had fled to Naboo to seek refuge. During the following decade, Kazimir lay low, not wanting the Imperium to try to track him down. He wrote numerous books and poems under various names, the most notable being "Kuzumarism: A Utopian World", in which he explains his ideas in a much greater detail.

The year is now 1,022 ABY. Rumors of a Rebel Alliance infect the Galaxy, spreading like fire from the Core Worlds to the Outer Rim. A spark of hope. Finally.

Not to Kazimir. He sees an opportunity. He sees a place in which he could potentially recruit willing revolutionaries, to continue to fight against the Imperium in a different way, and for different reasons, than the other factions. Is this the start of a great journey that may lead to a Utopia? Or a fall that could well end up causing the deaths of thousands of innocents in horrific terrorist attacks? Only time will tell.

Ok folks, my third character.

Yes, a communist. Woot! Or whatever xD.

I am still not at all pleased with the Biography elements, nor the pictures. I will get around to making them nicer. I hope. I'm just really not good at creating character profiles >.<

Just posting this here to get feedback (hopefully) on what needs to be changed or added or removed.

Also, I know. "Kuzumarism". If anyone has a better name, please send it to me. I'm really bad at naming things. Really bad.

Too tired to reread through it, mistakes are probably littered throughout, knowing me >.<. I changed his name quite a few times, so don't fret if I'm talking about someone who hasn't been mentioned, its probably just him.

You monster! I have nothing to criticize! :(

Seriously, I love this character. Such a simple idea, yet he is unique, has interesting views and personality, doesn't lack depth. And the best thing about him? He isn't the Chosen One 4586, not even one of the greatest assassins in the galaxy, or an Anakin Skywalker ripoff. He is just a person, which makes him very original and believable. Bravo!

EDIT: I hope he will persuade that particular character of mine into joining his cause.

Thanks a lot! I was really afraid I he'd come off as bad somehow, especially in the Biography as I'm never good at writing biographies xD.

But yeah, I did just want him to be an average man who, thanks to certain criteria such as family, upbringing and personality, turns out to be someone quite exceptional though not because he can do amazing things but because he has unique ideas. Obviously I had to add that he is very charismatic and intelligent otherwise he'd just be some random guy in the Galaxy with nice views but not with the tools to spread them.

This is a post skip character, so we'll have to RP after the skip as I've already mentioned elsewhere (just saying it here so anyone else who sees this knows). I'm also RPing with J4X V05, and we'll be doing a flashback to when they meet during the skipped decade (which is why I've included his (hers? xD) character into the profile) so we can either do a flashback of them meeting and discussing or we can do it in the present, whichever you prefer. No matter the outcome of our encounter, I am looking forward to discussing the politics with your character ;)

There may be a few typos and wrong names, as mentioned previously. This is because I have edited this profile half a dozen times, changing the format and pictures and whatever. I'm going to try and make the pictures smaller and add a few more of them, plus a few more quotes. If anyone else is interested in his ideas, just say so and we can arrange a meeting.

So I love it. Love everything about it. Nice work.

As do I my friend. The only thing I find kind of annoying is that it's stretched so much. Slightly bigger than my screen... :/

Otherwise? Brilliant job!

Thank god, I was really worried I'd have to do extensive edits on this.

I'll probably improve the looks of it later on, then. Glad everyone likes him :)

Hey, nice character, like the quotes thing, I did that for one of mine too :P works well.

Conceptually, this guy is marvelous. The first quote I like, makes me see a none FS mastermind outmaneuvering the Jedi and Sith :P

Yeah, I find quotes are a good way to show how a character thinks/speaks without having to write the entire thing in first person.
