Swatting his hand away, she huffed, one eyebrow raised. "Yeah, yeah. But seriously, open your mouth once in a while. If stuff's bothering you, talk to me, dude. I ain't a mind reader." Much as she wished she was. Much as she wanted to understand why he wanted to be a Force user, and not just... settle down. Find a quiet place and say screw the galaxy.
But his mom never seemed that way, so maybe it was a genetic thing. But her ribs ached, as did her lip. She swiped at her lip again, then sighed, shaking her head.
She still had a lot to learn, but she was gonna give it her best anyway. He deserved nothing less.
