[Jedi Mission] Investigating Missing Diplomats

Josh shook the mans hand, 'Its Drake. D-R-A-K-E,' he spelled for the man. Stupid. 'Anyways. Lets begin with the show Yes Man. I mean, Lumis. We're trying to discover whats happening with these kidnapped Senators. Do you know anything about it,' he said as he folded his arms.

 

[Dmitri]

Umbara's eye twitched when Drake mentioned the Senators. "I take you to Senator Skeith, yes, yes."
Lumis led the Jedi down a hall. An elevator ride later, they arrived on the top floor of the building their shuttle had landed it. A five minute walk led them to an office currently occupied an Umbaran in a black suit. As the Jedi entered, Lumis closed the door.
"I get paid now, yes, yes?" said Lumis.
The Umbaran sitting down glared. He stood up and clentched his fist. Lumis began to choke. Moments later and a momentary spasm, Lumis was dead.
The Umbaran took out a cylindrical tube from out of a drawer and ignited the lightsaber.
"Did Djibril send you?" demanded the Umbaran, the Fake Skeith. "He should have kept his nose out of things he didn't belong in. No matter. I'll kill you then threaten him to remain silent or he'll never seen the light of day ever again. But first, you die."
The Umbaran used his strength, aided by the Force, to throw the table at the two Jedi. He then swung his lightsaber horizontally at Rehni.

 

[GABA]

"Seriouslys?" she cried, her lightsaber sprung to life, she threw out her hand and the table hit an invisible wall, sending splinters to the corners of the room. The Force screamed at Rehni, her blade brought up to meet the Umbaran's red blade. She pushed off giving space, "Twos and ones, really?"

 

[JMocks]

Josh grinned. This is what he wanted. He closed his eyes. A grin then creeped across his face. His eyes shot open, they looked almost red. The Bogan in him was waiting for this. Josh disappeared then reappeared behind the Umbaran. His saber was already ignited, and he was slashing in a Z towards the back of the Umbaran.

'You will not leave this place alive, you scum,' he said with a grin.

 

[Dmitri]

Fake Skeith was not happy when Drake disappeared, especially when the Jedi appeared behind him. Though he was locked in a lightsaber hold with Rehni, he still had his lightsaber abilities. He concentrated and used Force Push to push Drake away.
Stupid Force Cloak, complained Fake Skeith.
Fake Skeith outstretched his free hand and erected Force Lightning at Rehni.

 

[JMocks]

Josh could sense the predictable Umbaran's attack and was quickly on his back again. The Umbaran would have to try way harder than that to bat him away. He'd have to focus his attention on him instead of Rehni. He used the Force to heighten his speed, instantly being on his back. Still using the Force, he slashed in a Z motion again, starting at his neck. He just hoped Rehni could handle her own.

 

[Dmitri]

The Umbara was almost too preoccupied with Rehni that he almost didn't see Drake coming.
Stupid Jedi scum, why can't they just figure out that it's better to stay down, complained Fake Skeith.
Fake Skeith realized quickly that he was outmatched against two Jedi. However, in the cramped office, there was no reasonable way to battle just one of them. The Umbaran skid away from Rehni. Drake used Force Speed to reach Fake Skeith and slashed at the Umbaran in a Z-shaped motion. Fake Skeith leaned back in time to prevent his head from being detached from his neck but wasn't quick enough to dodge the diagonal slash. While cut hadn't been deep, it hurt like hell. When Drake swung horizontally again, Fake Skeith used the Force to pull him away, over to the window.
"Go to hell, Jedi scum," yelled the Umbaran. As he screamed, he used the Force to shatter the window.
Fake Skeith removed a thermal dentonator from his belt and tossed it at the desk. The Umbaran then dove out of the building, hoping to use the Force to soften his landing.

OOC: Fake Skeith's not the true person behind the operation so it's fine to kill him now

'I said you're not leaving this place alive,' Josh said as he Forced Push Rehni out the room then quickly jumped out the window after the Umbaran. He used the Force to increase his falling speed, lightsaber pointed directly towards his back. With his falling speed, and the heightened speed via the Force, he was moving at an incredible speed. The Umbaran didn't seem well trained at all, so this should be the killing blow. His death would be quick, painless, and needed.

Rehni pushed off and caught the lightning with her blade as it absorbed the energy and dissipated through her blade. She went for another attack, she could feel the Umbaran's fear behind his attacks, it was more of desperation rather than intimidation. Time suddenly slowed for Rehni as she saw what events were going to occur next. She listened to the Force and used Drake's force push to aid her escape from the detonator.

She recovered quickly and the blast blew the entire room off the building, she followed a more efficient and quicker way out of the building to meet Josh and hopefully a dead man at the bottom.

 

[Dmitri]

A Bogan named Barrel was not pleased to see his apprentice jump out of a window.
Suicide? Pathetic, grumbled Barrel.
Barrel turned to the shuttle to his left. A scared Umbaran was tied up in the back.
"Don't worry, Senator Skeith," snickered Barrel. "Once we've fixed you, you'll get to come back."

 

[GABA]

Rehni wasn't going to risk her life jumping from so many stories of a building like the fake senator did. She blasted through the stairs with the aid of Force Speed and sensed the man nearing the ground; she cut out her own exit through the wall and leaped out. The fake Skieth reached the ground before she did. There was a loud boom as she hit the concrete, forming cracks of a well formed crater. She stood from her crouch and walked over to the body making a positive identification that he was dead. A crowd was starting to form.

Rehni clipped her lightsaber to her belt and called in the dead body. She left the area and received a shuttle back to the ports. She called in a message to Djibril, she had business to discuss with him.

 

[Dmitri]

Djibril answered the call. He was at home, having been awakened by the call.

"Mr. Rehni? How may I help you?" asked Djibril sleepily.

 

[GABA]

"Firsts, I ising a Ms. notting Mr. And seconding hows fasts caning I speaking with you in private?" she asked him hearing the drowsiness in his voice, which she could care less about how tired he was at the moment.

 

[Dmitri]

"My end of the transmission is secure," said Djibril. "All mine are. However, I'm unsure if your end is. What is it that you need? Weren't you with another Jedi earlier?"

Djibril yawned. He had hoped to get a good night's rest, considering he had been up for two days straight already. This better be important.

 

[GABA]

"Therefores I willing keeping brief" spoke Rehni boarding the transport, "Umbaran Senators Skieth killed himself. Jedis Drake ising taking cares ofing it." she spoke sternly, "Darker side hes wasing on? Quite awaring you are giving informations. We needing to talking, yous and I's faces to faces."

 

[Dmitri]

"I see," said Djibril. "Sure. I'll take the first ship to Umbara. However, it's not secret that the Senator would know. I didn't see any reason for surprises. When you left, I notified the Senator that you were coming."

 

[GABA]

The young Knight felt a twinge in the Force, she paused to listen, but it passed, she continued on with her conversation; she hopped off her transport, ignoring the hiss from the driver, to a more secluded area away from the growing crowd, "Dangerous, I ising believing Bogans ising involve. Runts who ising try make names for themselves. Notting matter Skieth knowing we's were coming, mattering I believing you knowing mores than you letting on, why woulding else Skieth panicked like thats?" she explained.

 

[Dmitri]

"That's strange," mused Djibril. "If he was surprised, then it means that he received the warning of your arrival second handedly. Ms. Rehni, you mustn't waste time. The person I talked to knew the details of your arrival. He wouldn't panic. That leaves me to believe that the switch only happened recently. Whoever kidnapped Senator Skeith and orchestrated this may be nearby."

 

[GABA]

"Details liking that helps Senators." Rehni replied, it could have helped even before they arrived on Umbara, "I willing in contacts with you."

The Knight ended the transmission, she was picking up uneasy feelings by natives as the Knight spoke on her commlink, she easily blocked them out and took a step back from the foot traffic listening to the Force; it was busy, full of waves clashing against each other. She isolated each one, following around the city; it wasn't long before one felt off, out of place... Rehn's eyes shot open and she started on its trail, the off-wave within the Force.

 

[Dmitri]

Barrel's shuttle was taking off when he felt a presence scrying. The Bogan tried to hide his presence but was too late. His presence was detectable. He barked at the pilot.

"Get us out of here!"

Barrel turned to Senator Skeith, bound and gagged. The Lamia placed his hand on the Senator's forehead.

"Time for a little reeducation, Senator," snickered Barrel.
