She stood up as the ship landed sound. It was the smartest thing to do in aldera's port to just park in the busiest place there was. The charters were always heavily monitored in the out of the way ports.
With footsteps so soft, making contact with the ground she suddenly realized the reality of everything. Everything was so big, yet she knew this place. There is no path now either, it was suddenly turned from a simple detective mission into a covert search and destroy for sure.
The port security would take their names. "Poo-doo" She knew this planet way too well. She stopped for a second and turned to her comrade only to realize he'd gracefully and openly just set himself up with prying eyes for his rifle was a weapon in a port where locals were anal about security.
She froze and hooded herself. They were going to ask her name... No doubt she'd been declared missing. Hell, she was probably in the holo-net news before. She could see it now.

"Diplomats' daughter still missing"

It would be the headline or something. And yea, her comrade was republic, but he was solag. They would still take her name, he didn't have government v.i.p clearance, just military clearance. Just kriffing great.

"Tell them I'm your slave. They'll ask too many questions. Watch it, I can't be discovered. Don't use my name." She half-way whispered to him as port docking authority seemed to march their way.

Sure enough, the port security took issue with Gamble toting around his slug-thrower rifle across his back, sheathed or not, they wouldn't allow it. Even upon showing them his military clearance, they still would not allow the long rifle, limiting him to only his dual Krayt dragon pearl-handled blasters. Well, that'd be enough for him. The SOLAG operative tucked his rifle away back on ship before making his way once again down the ramp.

Upon inquiry regarding his travel mate, Billy glanced over at Misha as he replied off-handedly, "Oh.. her?" He turned back towards the inquiring official as he gave him a sly wink, respoinding with, "Pleasure slave. Name's Butterfly, because when those wings open up, i's th' most -beautiful- thing you've ever seen." Gamble's chuckle certainly had a hint of naughtiness to it, almost downright filthy.

Taking the opportunity to reach around behind Misha and grab a handful of her rump, Billy added, "C'mon sugar-britches. Le's git along then." And with that, the two made their way out of the port and along a sidestreet, not looking back as the port authority's face betrayed both his disgust and jealousy at the same time, his own eyes gazing enviously at Gamble's hand resting upon Misha's rump as they strolled out of sight.

Those black boots. The sound of their clacks across the granite was adrenaline inducing. She noticed billy's wink and she realized he was under control too, at least there was someone who knew how to handle stress, cause she sure as hell wasn't the best at it.
She just stood there speechless, but a ruby red blush came full force as what she didn't expect took hold of her hind-side.
"Pleasure Slave?" She scoffed in her head, but she had to play the role. It wasn't a bother, just awkwardly situated and untimely.
Strolling out the port was easy enough. But out of site she managed her hood again and slapped the hand off of her arse.
"Well played, but warn me before you put me in an awkward position?" she laughed it off though. She did have a nice butt.

"So should we start where the murder happened?"

Smirking, Billy replied back to the Jedi Knight, "Y'know, since we've registered you as a pleasure slave, we should probably keep the charade up the -entire- time we're here on th' planet. Not like we won't bump into any of those authorities again." Wagging his finger, he tsk'ed as he added, "Don' wanna take the chance at blowin' our cover, do ya?" With that, he gave her a mischievous wink as his hand began to reach around once again for its previous resting place.

Turning his gaze down the walkway, Gamble quirked an inquisitive look as he thought for a moment, "Scene of th' murder soun's good. Likely they've still got it cordoned off... perhaps with authorities still about." His look turning more serious as he faced Misha, "Perhaps we -should- consider sticking to our charade... least while we're out in th' public eye." He chewed on his lower lip as he thought about it. Unfortunately, it didn't seem that Misha was too excited about his suggestion whatsoever...

It was true, she'd been registered as a slave. But that really didn't matter, at least if she just stood there quietly like a slave does. She laughed it off, but she realized he was not joking as she swatted his hand off her rump.
"As wonderful as that sounds I'm sure we'll do fine. The port security's so anal here that the real authorities don't really worry. The ones you have to worry about are the city sheriffs' office. Their jurisdiction covers the city where delegates, politicians, and ambassadors make transit from the towers to their homes. So I really don't think you should worry about telling everyone I'm your sex slave." That would be the end of it. She was too independent and socialist to think like that.
For the crime scene there would be important clues. She knew how the law worked here, she was raised by the law here. Everything should be fresh for investigators anyways, so the lightsaber and bodies even, may still be left where they were. That was where she needed to start.

"Here, the city is a simple concentric model. We're in the third ring. So if we get to a nearby holonet news terminal we can probably find out where the murder was. Come on, let's look around we're in a intergalactic spaceport there's going to be one somewhere."

Clapping his hands together, Gamble's gaze panned around the area as the walked along, scanning for a holonet terminal. Pointing over towards his left after a few moments, Billy stated, "A StarCreds. They're bound t'have a holonet terminal there." Glancing over at Misha, he added with a quirky smile, "And som' good coffee t'help get us along an' on our way." He didn't waste a second as he turned sharpely, heading straight for the famous intergalactic coffee shop.

He opened the door for the Jedi Knight as they stepped in. Quirking an eyebrow, he inquired of her, "What'll y'have? I'm buying." With his turn being next, Gamble began to order his drink. "I'll have a tall dirty Dagobah latte, heavy dirt and add steam please." Turning his attention to his slave, he inquired, "What'll you have Butterfly?" He couldn't help put let slip a playful wink at her.

Her shoes were comfortable. It was a good edge to have in combat that's for sure. Comfort and ease of footwork. Misha was thinking about it when Billy pointed out to a coffee shop.
"Yea. I'm a big fan of StarCreds, but I love real barristers more. heh, but let's go check it out." she followed Billy as they went up to the counter. There it was- a news terminal lying right on a table.

"What ya' havin' butterfly?" she cringed inside for a second. He was a funny lot, that was for sure.
"Java Juma. Low-fat milk, light whip, double shot of juma frosted over, and don't put it under the froster too long I hate freezer burns." she tried to keep quiet. Two words were all that was needed- "Java Juma", but she was picky, hell, almost obsessive compulsive about coffee.
The girl behind the desk gave out a sigh. If you don't like picky people a coffee shop isn't a place to work.

"Butterfly" was quiet and kept her head low. When she saw her chance she quietly strode over near the entrance to the shop. She stood over the terminal and faced her back to the counter. With a touch on the screen it's backlight shone brightly. Story after story organized by an infinite number of categories was before her. She decided to check in the law are under the local section. And about three or four stories passed before she found exactly what she was looking for-

"Ivanovna Family Murder Unsolved."

With that- her face quickly began to fall.
Her world fell down around her as she collapsed with her knees together and feet spread apart in tears and snot. She hunched over and her forehead met the cold tile. The cries could be heard throughout the spaceport and her shrill breathing was uncontrollable. Inhale after inhale, she closed her face in with her palms darkly and held her head low, her soft chin was touching the chest of her robes and dripping a waterfall of tears. The force was now her parents and darkness crept from behind her to place a soft hand on her shoulder. To wrap it's shadowy hands around her, to eat her alive and drag her to chaos. Her glassy silk eyes poured out of her sockets down her face in a rolling thunder of tears and sweat along a narrow river quickly. All to bring her to a place so low that the light wasn't even visible, and all she could do was cry out- but to no avail. Her chest heaved and threw as a ten ton weight of her parents' murderer held a ace in the hole that crushed down on her and left her frill attempts to let out even a cry immobilized.

-Here she lay in a coffee shop floor
her tears wash away the pain.

In a world white-washed black
sentiment is no more and the light fades away.

From the deed wrought a creeping hand darkly
to drag and drown her down so low.

As she screams- and kicks- and thrashes about
her body displays nothing more.

Than a fragile small child knocked down on her knees
sobbing and crying out for remorse.

Gamble moved over rather quickly to the fallen Jedi Knight who was now a heap of flesh and clothing, a pile on the floor. Laying a hand on her shoulder, he was about to say something reassuring like 'It's gonna be a'right' but instead, looked to see what had triggered such a response from her. Noting the terminal screen, Billy connected the dots rather quickly, realizing that the article was speaking about her family.

To avoid suspicion, he cleared the data and took a knee beside the Knight, whispering softly, "Com' along then. Le's head back to th' room." There was no room, but for the benefit of those about, he said so anyway. Leaving the drinks behind, Gamble picked up the Jedi Knight easily within his two arms, cradling her close against him as he tried to comfort her as they departed the coffee shop. Without addressing the clerk and having left credits on the counter enough to pay for their drinks, Billy carried Misha out of there, whispering quiet words of soothing comfort.

"Come now Misha... pull y'self t'gether," he encouraged her gently as he made his way with her in his arms down the walkway towards a decent hotel just up ahead. The Knight seemed thoroughly broken as Billy addressed the clerk at Registration. "Get us a room an' I'll be right back down t'pay for it," he instructed the Twi'lek as he adjusted his grip on Misha, keeping her close against him as he held her tight.

The lady obliged and even led the way to the room, opening the door and getting out of the way as she whispered to Billy, "Take your time." Nodding lightly, Gamble replied appreciatively with a sincere smile, "Thank-you Miss." With that, the door closed behind them and he sat down at the edge of the Queen-sized bed, holding and rocking the Knight close as he attempted to soothe and comfort her. Krath, what a crummy way to discover your parents passing...

She continued to cry as she was taken upstairs, the tears were a nonstop rain. As she sat up and cuddled up to a pillow she managed to catch up to her breath and looked back at Billy.
"I can't do this... I can't sit in a hotel room the whole time. I'm a Jedi. Come on."
And before she arose and stood to her feet she whispered the words to her self.
"Only Peace" to remind herself of the JEdi code.

Well that was quick, Billy thought to himself as the Jedi rose to her feet and addressed him in such a manner. Had -his- parents died in such a way and he just found out, Gamble would've likely wanted some time to recover from such news, but not this Jedi. Nope. Seemed she was something beyond hard core, hardly taking what little time it had taken him to get her up to a private room.

That can't be healthy... emotionally, he thought again to himself. He wasn't going to pick up after her again like that. Waving a dismissive hand, he replied, "Go 'head an' go without me. I'm gonna read up on what happened 'ere in the room." With that, he turned to an outing they had for the holonet and began to look up a few more articles on what exactly had happened to the young Jedi's parents.

She wiped the tears from her eyes and walked out the door, unhooded.
"I'm going to go to... My house, I suppose." she hesitated for a second and lingered on "My House." for a brief second. She wanted to grab a shuttle, and maybe investigate the murders for clues.

((OOC: Then wait until you have time. I'm in no rush.))

Billy let her go without protest, but instead, waved as he offered a light, "A'right, laterz." Once she left, he began to read through the holonet every article he could about her parents' death. There were a number of theories and conjectures; nothing was really concrete. He was starting to see a few things that lined up with each other, or at least, the locations did. Gamble made note of those locations in his datapad. They should probably go check those out later too, when/if the Jedi returned.

The S.O.L.A.G. operative continued to peruse over the copious amounts of data that there was out there regarding her parents, even going as far as to read a number of brief biographies regarding them. Public records held a lot of information as well. It was then that he began to wonder just how much pressure had been on Misha to follow in their footsteps... Perhaps that was why her mourning had been so brief. Huh...

When Misha came about her home there were of course already CSec in the surrounding.
She didn't want to be the nerf-hearder that told her she couldn't enter her own kriffing house.

As her speeder approach and land within the meadow in front of the house she was immediately stopped by an Alderaanian in his dark blue outfit.
"Ma'am you can't be-"
"Piss off."
"Excuse M-..."
"Look you piss-ant. This is MY house. These are MY parents dead inside, and if you want YOUR job to keep bringing you income than you'd better let me through. I have friends in very high places..."

The petite Jedi flashed her credentials as you strode passed the officer.
"You- .... Come with me." he tightened up pretty quickly and let her through the team of investigators and police to the inside of her house.

"The murders took place in the kitchen, if you'll step right this way I'll tak-" the man was cut-off again mid-sentence.

"I know how to get around in my own house, thank you." she scoffed harshly as she herself was already leading her own way to the taped off kitchen.

Utilizing a bit of S.O.L.A.G. tech, Billy was able to slice into the live feed coming from the dead politicians' house. "Well, so much for the cover story," he said aloud to himself as he was somewhat surprised to see the Jedi Knight marching around within the place as if she owned it. Heaving a sigh, he figured that he may as well get down there to do a little bit of damage control. No doubt, after her initial response upon discovering the death of her parents, she'd be in an emotional state of some sort right about now as well.

Throwing a small pack over his shoulder, he shook his head as he head out the door, "Perhaps I should jus' contact th' Jedi Order an' let them know that her mission's been compromised with personal interest." He pursed his lips as he made his way out the door, tapping away at his datapad as he readied to send a message on up to Command. Jedi were supposedly not given in to emotion, yet this one had already proven otherwise and continuing on with her leading an investigation into her own parents' death couldn't be a good thing.

Still though, he couldn't believe how fast she had shaken off her grief and -seemed- to recover once he brought her up to the room. NO WAY was that healthy emotionally for -anyone- Jedi or not...

Misha strutted around her kitchen. She knew this room better than anyone else in this blasted room- she scoured for evidence, eyeballing the tarps that obviously covered her parents' bodies.

She lifted the tarps over, revealing the bodies, using the force. They were mangled and burned with lightsaber wounds- her fathers's neck and chest had been slit. Her mother's stomach- ran through and slashed out. It almost brought tears to her eyes, yet she controlled her emotions- like she was taught.

"Any ideas who did this?" she asked, turning to the inspectors.

Each and every one of them looked baffled, not a slight remark of even a maybe. It sickened Misha- her parents dead on the floor in the house she grew up in. She didn't know what to do- her hands clutched to fist. Her lips pursed in self-containment.

"You're joking right?" she eyeballed down the investigators.

"We're working on it as hard as we can-" one man had wisened up to question her, only to be met with a shushing hiss

"Ssshh- You do that, and I'm going to go take care of this... Killer-" she began to argue with them. She wasn't feeling okay, she was angry- she controlled her emotions.

"There is peace-" she whispered to herself, taking a deep breathe in than relinquishing it.
