Kryte immediately did two things, he pushed the bike, and then, as the speeder’s smoking bulk slowly lumbered toward and through the door, obscuring the view outside the building, he ran low to get behind Bishop’s cover.

”Yeah, Bishop what is it?” Kryte said as he crouched down beside Bishop, “I’m ready for any ideas at this point.”

Zur-Kor was getting more and more frustrated by the vents taking place though he didn't show it. First his position had been compromised then his surprise attack was foiled and finally his thought to be deadly blaster burst at a large and unmoving target was dodged because of that one man.

Zur-Kor crouched low in his position, thoughts racing through his head, 'That guy has sensed everything I have thrown at him and more. He must be force sensitive. He has to be force sensitive.'Taking note he was now dealing with something more dangerous then your average Merc he shuffled from his position to get a better understanding of his surroundings. It only took a few seconds for him to realize that he was fairly exposed and even possibly pinned if they worked out where he was.

He wasn't about to find out first hand if he was correct on that last bit. Tapping the side of his helmet he activated his comm system. Without openly speaking he was able to murmur his coordinates to Murdok and a request for back up. Without waiting for a reply he switched the comm system off and was fairly surprised to see a damaged Speeder lumber pass billowing smoke. It's momentum didn't last long and it came to a halt right next to him.

It was a blessing in disguise. If they knew where he was taking cover then they would be relying on any heat-seeking devices to lock on to him. He was an easy target in the rain, but now with a flaming speeder blowing hot smoke right next to him he had ample cover to change his position to that of one with better defense.

Not waiting any longer he spun out from his position, past the speeder and without pausing lunged for cover behind a solid durasteel wall 30cms thick.
Now his position would be unknown to those he hunted and he could think of another way to attack, a least until back up arrived and distracted them long enough for him make his move. Holding his breath the entire building was deadly quiet only broken by a single sentence uttered by one of the Mercs. That single sentence changed the hunt dramatically.

”Yeah, Bishop what is it? I’m ready for any ideas at this point.”

That man who was force sensitive, he should of known from the beginning, but in all truth how could he. The last time Zur-Kor saw 'Bishop' he had left him for dead on some godforsaken planet on the edge of known space.

"Things just got a little more interesting"

Bishop looked over the speeder towards the exit of the garage. "When I say 'yes', jump into the speeder and drive like some Rancor's chasin' you. Don't worry about me, I will catch up soon enough. I will distract the merc out there so you can get away. Go to the location where the job is, but take a different route, so any enemies will be confused. Make them crazy. When you arrive there, wait for me and together we'll finish this shit." Bishop spoke with his voice down so only Kryte could hear him. "Got it?"

"Got it." Kryte responded quietly. "What about Caru and Garen?"

Caru watched the ball of heat drift towards their attacker and switched out her pistols without glancing down. She flipped the power pack on and saw the glow of the man who had tried to blow them up move away from the speeder bike and disappear. She slid closer to the side of the building, then crouched and moved down towards the front, situating herself so that if he entered she would have a clear shot as well as cover from an obscure position.

Bishop looked over to Caru. "Either they get killed or stay alive, it's not our concern. Might sound harsh, but it's true. We're mercs, kid. Bloody mercs. Save yer own ass first."

He then ran over to a pile of crates in the corner and ducked behind them, quickly crouching behind another speeder and then crouching to yet another one near the exit. Hopefully the enemy had not seen him yet. He then aimed his blasters at the exit and a few reckless thoughts came up in his mind. Bishop was maybe a little bit foolish, but brave he was. He was really a reckless man, throwing himself into one death-defying situation after another.

"Caru!" he shouted to the girl, without revealing Caru's position to the enemy mercenary. "Can you see him?"
Hoping she would answer him by signing with her arms, and so he could find out where the merc was, he kept focusing on the exit. He could feel the presence of the mercenary and it felt familiar. Like he had felt it before. Yet he could not see where exactly this merc was hiding.

As Bishop and Caru started to change cover, so did Kryte. Noticing that Garen retreated into the back room, Kryte went a little farther back into the store and started to look around--all while crouching low of course. Underneath the backside of a desk, he found a compartment with the speeder keys in it. He took the keys to a nearby, fast looking model, and quickly ran over to it, taking cover behind it. He than sat perched on the balls of his feet, ready to jump onto the speeder and get away, serve as a distraction, when Bishop gave the signal.

Kryte readied his blaster rifle in his hands, still ready to sling it over his shoulder again and hop on the bike, but also prepared to shoot if the merc showed himself.

".. What do you mean, you hired other guys!? This is my job, I'm not letting two local tavern dwellers steal my reward!" Angrily he disconnected his conversation and pocketed his comlink. Grazo was rather dis-pleased with his employer.

He noted several more shots from the previous blast location and heard alot of commotion.. It didn't make a lot of sense the warehouse was in the direction Grazo was headed but there was an awful lot of fighting going on over in the distance, Murdok was a crafty fellow perhaps he sent out scouts or confronted the mercs head on in the streets? Was it really worth checking it out? He could always just kill the two mercs if he missed the opportunity to do the job himself. And if it was those mercs.. so many opportunities could come from it.

Grazo decided it best to head to the commotion, he wanted some gun-play too it wasn't fair that the folks in his new destination were allowed to hog it all. He scaled the low heighten buildings to get a birds eye view on the situation, it was quite evident that the two men who kept coming in and out of his sight indeed were the two mercs who had stolen his job.. they could come in handy especially the one who looked like he had just been snoozing in the gutter, he was definitely used to the thug life. Grazo fired a few shots in the direction of the assassin on top of the roof it was no chance that they would hit but he would certainly notice them, it would prove an evident distraction.

((OOC: Sorry, 1994, the assassin has left the roof? He's now taken cover on the outside of the building in the street somewhere, masked by the smoke and rain.))

(OOC: ^^ He's right your a few steps behind the current situation)

Zur-Kor sighed. He was in a position no professional bounty hunter, mercenary, assassin or simple thug wanted to be in. He had very few options available to him. He could double back and find another entrance to the garage, but they would surely escape in that time. Another thought was setting his Heavy Repeater to "Fire without User" Mode and hope the gun would provide enough of a distraction for him to get in and finish the job. But that would likely get him shot to pieces, he was unsure about the young Zeltron's skill as a Merc and though the girl was smart and a quick-thinker her combat prowess would not be enough to match a professional killer. However he knew for a fact Bishop was dangerous enough for him to not take that risk.

As he puzzled over his next action he noticed something odd about flaming speeder still at the entrance. He quickly recognized the speeder as one belonging to a former acquaintance of his. Once Again Zur-Kor activated the comm system in side his helmet, finding the signal he was looking for.

"Garen you good for nothing slimdog I need some information...The flustered Togruta replied not without a sense of urgency in his voice."Look Zur-Kor I am in no position to talk right now, some bloody assassin has torn up the place and blasted a hole in my warehouse!"
"Yeah sorry about that, I didn't know it was your shop... then again you didn't tell me you moved places since we last met."
"It was you! This place cost me a fortune and you go blow it up! Why the hell are you here anyway?"
"Hunting down your latest customers of course, like the good old days, nevermind the shop, you owe me for what I did for you back on the Tion V. Give me all the info you can on these people and pay for the repairs to your shop". Garen, Not one to be overly loyal to his customers quickly coughed up what he could on the mercs, none of which was helpful... "...they had just arrived while I was out, they're nothing special. Caru gave them what they wanted and-"
"Who is Caru?"
"Oh nevermind her, she just helps out around the shop-"
"She's the girl in there right now? What did you say her name was?","oh, um Carudyc Surhaai, why? Is she important-"

Zur-Kor ended the transmission, he felt like he was in a popular Soap Holovid. New twists and turns kept happening and it was now hard to keep up with it all.

The whole reason for Zur-Kor for being on Coruscant in the first place was for this girl and the information she held. He wasn't clear on the details, only that she had stolen something from some very rich people who would pay a fortune to get that info back. Zur-Kor offered to help Murdok in exchange for some info on her whereabouts. The circle was almost complete.

Zur-Kor knew exactly what to do. He knew Bishop was a hard man who held little compassion for bystanders. This girl was the key to he being on Coruscant, Murdok could burn for all he cared. His prize was only a few meters away...

Zur-Kor cleared his throat and with his voice amplified to project throughout the Warehouse he spoke:

"I wish to make a proposition! My job with Murdok is now over, if you here me out we can all walk away from this."His voice was hoarse and naturally quiet, it made for an odd sound when projected over the rain and burning fuel. Yet it would not be recognizable to Bishop, his throat was torn out by a rancor some time after they 'departed company' now machines did the talking for him.
However he could not hide his still gleaming -if slightly battered- red composite armor.

Zur-Kor stepped out from behind the wall and slowly strode into plain view. His cloak, blackened by the smoke, was draped around him, that and the dark environment made sure his armor was well covered. Zur-Kor didn't know why but he felt he should hide his true identity from Bishop for now.
Zur-Kor's arms were up, silently hoping they wouldn't shoot him before he could speak, he looked almost peaceful if it weren't for the vast array of weapons and ammo on his person. They to were hidden beneath his cloak but he couldn't hide the powerful Vibroswords rising from his back.

"Show yourselves and we will talk"

Bishop stood up with his blaster pistols aimed at him and he moved closer to him.

"What!?" Bishop shouted. "What is it?"

His fingers layed on the triggers and he looked at the mercenary in front of him like he was his worst enemy. If the mercenary would make any wrong moves, Bishop would be faster and he would gun him down in cold blood.

Also, this conversation would be a distraction to the mercenary, and when the time was right, Bishop would give Kryte the sign to drive out of the garage, all the way to the location where their job was.

In silence, Bishop waited for a reply from the mercenary. Bishop wasn't afraid and he was quite calm actually. Though he was on his guard, and ready to take out the enemy before he could take out Bishop.

Zur-Kor waved his finger in a mocking fashion. "Uh-uh, I want everyone in clear view before we start. Kryte, Caru, Bishop and Garen... if not..." He lowered his hands to reveal a modified Thermal detonator strapped to the back of his gloved palm. It was modified unlike the previous two and could blow the entire warehouse sky high. It was clearly set to go off instantly once Zur-Kor's thumb left the trigger.

Zur-Kor was a professional, he wasn't about to stumble into a situation he couldn't win.

Bishop did not stop aiming his blasters at the merc in front of him, but he knew he could not shoot him, for the grenade would go off if it left the merc's grip. He did not fear death, but they had a job to do.

"So you're gonna blow us up, and yourself..." Bishop said. "...How brave, but why should we do as you wish? I've got nothing to lose and I'm not afraid of dying. So, blow us all up, and die."

His fingers still on the triggers, he waited for the right moment. He hoped Kryte would not leave his position and he would wait for Bishop's sign, because they were wasting time. They had a job to get done, and this merc was holding them up.

"Why don't you just tell us what you, and then get the hell out of my sight!"

Kryte stayed where he was. He didn't want to get blown up, but he trusted Bishop. Whatever this merc's plan was, it was good enough for Kryte.

Hmm... Kryte thought, How did this guy know Garen's name? We've never shouted it, and Garen's been holed up in his office a lot of the time... Kryte thought something was off. He couldn't tell what, but something was definitely not what it seemed.

Caru watched as the three men shifted about the room without any communication or formed plan. Seemed somewhat stupid. She shrugged at Bishop as he called to her, not really minding whether or not he saw it. He was paid to do these things, he should be prepared for it. Besides, the angle through which she could see out the door was so shallow that there was no way she would have been able to see their attacker. His heat signature had disappeared behind a wall or into a building.

She watched the orange blob that was Kyte move out of the corner of her eye. From the back room came the urgent sounds of Garen talking, she couldn’t hear exactly what he was saying but the sounds reverbed around the warehouse. She leaned back against the wall as he entered her line of vision and raised her pistol but did nothing as he conversed with Bishop. She glanced at the chrono on the back wall, then at the puddle the merc was making in the entrance to the store.

Bishop was being slightly harsh with his wording she noted; she certainly didn’t want to be blown up, she had to get back to work and she was already several minutes late. She lowered her pistol and stuck it in her pocket, walking into plain sight of the two men then casually sitting sidesaddle on a speeder bike. ”I’d be all gung-ho too ya know, but you two seem so trigger happy I wouldn’t wanna make either of you piss your pants by jumping in myself…” She stared at the blank helmet of the mercenary, then at Bishop, smiled, then stared at the ground and kicked her feet against the side of the bike.

"So you're gonna blow us up, and yourself... how brave, but why should we do as you wish? I've got nothing to lose and I'm not afraid of dying. So, blow us all up, and die."

Zur-Kor, still looking straight at Bishop, responded. His voice hinting the mockery in his words.

"Still a tough talker I see... well if you must know it's not you I'm after. At least not anymore. My offer is simple. Hand over the girl and we can all get on with what we do best."

His steely gaze now swept over Caru as she came into sight.

"This does not concern you Bishop, we all have jobs to do, it was just unfortunate we started the day badly."

As always Zur-Kor was polite and calm, he realized that being loud and hotheaded would only get you killed a long time ago. Now with the right experience he could complete jobs just as easily through talking as through fighting.

Zur-Kor waited for a reply, the girl sure as hell wasn't going to like being a bargaining chip but he didn't care. The bounty for the information she carried was large enough to set him up for life, yet the credits were not for himself...

Carudyc abruptly stopped tapping her heels against the bike and stood."Excuse me? Did you just imply that this man has the ability to hand off my leash to you?" She looked at Bishop and shook her head in slight disgust. "So sorry if I'm inconveniencing any of you by ceding my position as the credit..." She shifted away from the two of them and more towards the back of the room, cautious but not yet alarmed.

Kryte suddenly had an idea. He assessed the situation, looked at Caru, looked at Bishop, and looked at the merc with the thermal detonator. He took out his pistol, fixed it on Caru, and stood up from behind the speeder, slowly walking towards the front of the building.
"Look, you don't want to be used as a bargaining chip," Kryte said to Caru, "and YOU don't want her to die." he said to the Merc. "So I'll tell you what. We'll just leave you two alone to figure out what you're going to do, hmm? Me and Bishop just happen to be in the middle of this, and, seeing as I've got the drop on Caru, and neither of you want her dead, you'll let us go. All clear?"

Her mouth dropped open as she found the Zeltron leveling his weapon at her. Zeltrons felt emotions...she remembered laerning that in her schooling. Species were interesting, but once it got down to the genetic makeup it was just downright braincell genocide. Waves of desperation starting pouring off her as she fixed him with a stare. She shook her head slightly and her silver hair ran over her shoulders in a rippling wave.

Taking a step back, she bumped into the bike behind her. She reached out to put her hand on the speeder, this brought her hand closer to her own weapon. Her face was angled away from the business Bishop and the Merc were conducting at the front of the building, and she used this cover to mouth the words "Please no" to the red-skinned kid. He really was just a kid...she doubted his aim was that good. If she could just get him to falter his aim slightly...Her eyes drifted halfway shut as she sent the strongest blast of desolate sadness she could at him. Since the previous tactic hadn't evoked pity. Frustrating.

Well, he said he wouldn't kill her, and if this griefbomb didn't work she really didn't think there would be a problem with pulling her own weapon, except maybe a few piss puddles.
