Ask Serenno Isn't that a relief?

Uvren arrived on Serenno through shuttle transport, along with a team of other aid workers and relief corps. Their mission was to provide assistance to some of the growing homeless shelters as well as underpoverished population. Such work was not ideally what a Sector Ranger was here for and thus he had been assigned on a solo mission for an entirely separate goal. A group of relative small time arms dealers had been taking in kids off the streets, subduing them with spices and using them to traffic illegal weapons.

A series of wanted pulse wave weaponry was high on his task list and so as he disembarked from the ship, his first order of business was to visit with local law enforcement agencies. Grabbed in his unique Ranger armor, he started with a local encampment, waiting around for the nearest informative to approach him. There were quite a bit of needy individuals around to say the least. His attention scattered on the medics for a moment, before turning towards the information clerk. "Detective Larson is expecting me, best way to reach HQ?" He asked, his voice digitized by the electronic scrambler on his armor's helm.

[Lilly Lynn]

Lilly stood aboard a Jedi transport en route to Eriadu. The Jedi Order in recent years had begun reaching out to surrounding territories in an effort to help and make amends. The galaxy at large was distrustful of their kind after the destruction of the First Order and the truth of everlasting war between Sith and Jedi came to light, the catalyst for every major galactic war in known history. Though the Jedi weren't necessarily the "evil" ones, it was difficult for many to differentiate their "religions". Thus the Jedi fell in public opinion. Eriadu is one of the systems close to the modern Jedi sphere of influence and they were trying to do right by their neighbors and maybe win them back in the progress.

The mission was supposed to be a simple case of aid and relief. The transport she was on carried a myriad of supplies for the homeless and impoverished as well as a dozen droids to help build shelters. She would overlook the administration of the Jedi supplies and help the locals where she could. As they descended, her comlink buzzed. She answered it, " Lilly here."

"Lilly," said one of the knights overseeing aid from their temple on Ajan Kloss, "there's been a slight change of plans. We have been contacted by the locals and the Alliance. It appears that the Alliance also has begun relief operations on the planet. They've asked for you to report to the law enforcement HQ. There's something about a joint Jedi / Sector Ranger operation they would like to conduct. We think it's best that you comply and see what they have to say."

"Got it, heading there now," she responds. Curious... she thought. While the Jedi and Free Worlds Alliance were allies in a sense, history and public opinion have limited their relationship to anything but formal. Though any opportunity to appease the Republic and its allied systems was not one to be squandered and she would take it in stride.

As her transport landed, a local authority greeted her and led her to the law enforcement headquarters.

[Uvren Sol]

"Yup, you're assigned on the case, there's a Knight joining you on this mission, she should be here soon.." The unit clerk said, causing Uvren to loft a simple brow. "A knight?...Like a Jedi Knight?" He asked, the clerk simply responding with a few acknowledging nods of her head. Well this was a surprise, the young ranger was usually accustomed to performing missions on his own and now he had been paired with one of the legendary galaxy peacekeepers. To be honest, he had never met a Jedi Knight before, a slight sweat stains accumulated on his forehead to denote the pre-meeting anxiety.

It didn't help that she was exceedingly beautiful either..great. Uvren thought to himself, hopefully he didn't trip around and get too distracted. As Lily entered the room, he waited for the clerk to greet her formally before he removed his helmet as courtesy and extended his right hand for a handshake. "Good Morning, Sector Ranger Uvren Sol. I guess I'll be your partner for this assignment. Welcome to Serenno".

This should be interesting he thought, he wondered how the Jedi usually began their missions. Regardless, he knew that it would be quite an experience working with the Knight.

[Lilly Lynn]

Lilly shook the man's hand. He looked... Impressive to say the least. His posture, attitude, and armor implied to her that he knew what he was doing. His professionalism comforted her, though his wording seemed to imply he was as surprised as she was at this sudden partnership. "Good morning, uhm-", she wasn't quite sure if the Sector Rangers went by rank or title when spoken to or just by their name. She resolved quickly to just his name before her pause was awkward and noticeable, "Uvren." She smiled to him. "I'm Lilly Lynn," her words spoken softly, but directly. "I was not aware the Rangers were in this sector, but we appreciate the help nonetheless." Her last statement was genuine. Though some in the order felt differently, her personal opinion was that the Jedi should make more of an effort to build relationships with the Rangers, Alliance, and other major governments. Some of her peers, afraid of history, believe that the Jedi should remain neutral, helping on their own, making no major political affiliation. She was learned in history though and felt the modern Jedi Order could do more good if they do so while avoiding the sins of the past.

She lets her hand drop. There was no official Jedi garb, but for these outreach missions the Jedi preferred to make more of a public statement. So over her normal light form-fitting garb, she was donning a traditional Jedi cloak, with her saber hanging obviously on her left hip. She looks over to the unit clerk and then back to Uvren. "When I was originally sent here it was just under the implication of relief and aid, but I guess something else requires my attention instead?" She was happy to help in whatever way she could and she had a feeling that this would be more enjoyable than the administrative work she was expecting. She was also curious to learn more about this man she'd be working with. She looks expectantly to Uvren and the clerk, ready to be briefed.
