NAME: Unknown; Operative Callsign "Ishkur"; AKA "Ish"
FACTION: New Imperial Knights
RANK: Knight
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 29
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 5'11"
WEIGHT: 168 lbs.
EYES: Brown.
HAIR: Black, short trim.
SKIN: White.
CREDITS: ??
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: None noticeable.
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes.

STR:
||||||||||
Ishkur is quite strong and able to grapple and wrestle down a similarly sized human male, trained and toned for combat. However, lacks adequate discipline and sacrifices some strength for stealth.
DEX:
||||||||||
Adept at hiding in the shadows and lurking about, Ishkur prefers stealth to brute force, but given his size and bulk is not as stealthy as more graceful and lithe person.
CON:
||||||||||
Quite resilient to poisons and diseases, Ishkur is a man of much stamina and endurance. Will sooner die than divulge secrets, Ishkur will still be killed be fatal blaster shots or lightsaber blows. He's just a man, afterall.
INT:
||||||||||
Knows a wide variety of weapons, ships, and objects, but is fairly slow to comprehend new ideas and is quite narrow-minded. Prefers to use what he knows than rely on new, and in his mind, untrustworthy tools.
WIS:
||||||||||
Ishkur has survived many situations that have claimed his betters and lessers, and he has learned how to survive. What wisdom he has is acquired from life lessons and scrounging up a life from backwater worlds no one would give a second glance to.
CHA:
||||||||||
Often called a misogynistic pervert, Ishkur's curt and arrogant attitude is probably the sole reason he is continuously denied promotions. He is never afraid to call it like he see's it, though this often isn't the best way to win friends.

FORCE POWERS:
Control:
|||||||||| Art of Movement
|||||||||| Breath Control
|||||||||| Force Body
|||||||||| Force Concealment
|||||||||| Force Speed
|||||||||| Tapas
|||||||||| Tutaminis
Sense:
|||||||||| Battle Precognition

|||||||||| Force Sense
|||||||||| Force Sight
|||||||||| Precognition
|||||||||| Psychometry
Alter:

|||||||||| Force Blinding
|||||||||| Force Defend
|||||||||| Force Flash
|||||||||| Force Jump
|||||||||| Force Weapon
|||||||||| Mind Trick
|||||||||| Telekinesis

SKILLS:
||||| Marksman
||||| Crack Shot
||||| Hacker
||||| Pilot
||||| Infiltrator
||||| First Aid
||||| Explosives

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
|||||||||| Form III - Soresu

[specialized form: Soresu]

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Strengths: Military minded and used to surviving through terrible situations, Ishkur is probably more adept at getting through a life threatening situation than others - simply by knowing the right way out. He prefers to rely on equipment and skill than the Force or the lightsaber, but is capable of wielding both proficiently.

Weaknesses: Adapts well to new situations he understands, but is hesitant to use strange tools. Sometimes overly cautious, prefers to properly plan out an attack than rush into combat; which sometimes leads to missed opportunities. Is generally considered to be crude and an ass, and doesn't get along well with others. Conversely, this helps him maintain a cover as a smuggler.

GEAR:
Knuckle-plate vibroblade (Phrik gauntlets, non-IK issue)
Armorweave cloak
Armorweave vest and helmet
Stealth Field Generator
Utility belt
Multiple blaster pistols
Multiple combat knives and vibroblades
Grenades, thermal detonators, etc.
Scoped high energy blaster rifle
IR Thermal Goggles
Chemical Mask
Bactapacks
Stims (various types, esp. sleep inhibitors)
Remote networked recon droid (Prowler 1000 series)
Portable communications jammer
Imperial Knight standard Lightsaber
Imperial Knight standard Armor
Imperial Knight standard Gauntlet
Standard Clothes

SHIP:
24qiubk.jpg

Broadsword-class Starfighter
Length: 12 meters
Maximum Acceleration: 12 MGLT per/sec
MGLT: 110 MGLT
Maneuverability Rating: 130 DPF
Engines: 250 KTU
Hyperdrive: 1.0
Hull: Titanium Alloy
Navigation Systems: Yes
Armaments: 2 Laser Cannons, 2 general-purpose warhead launcers w/ 6 concussion missiles each.
Crew: Pilot (1)
Other systems: Ejector seat

PERSONALITY:
A crude chauvinist who is prone to making blunt statements or jump to erroneous conclusions in social situations, not always perceived to be the friendliest of people. Combine this with a tendency for swearing and a general slavish manner of speaking, and you can understand how Ishkur is often perceived of as the "scoundrel smuggler", instead of the noble Knight.

BIOGRAPHY:
I remember the Battle for Seoul V like it was yesterday. I've never been that remarkable of a fighter pilot, and that day was no exception. I hate to think of how badly we failed that day; I, no, all of us had disgraced the Empire. After that, everything seemed even more lost than before. To me it was like Bastion all over again, another setback in a history of decline.

I barely managed to escape that battle. My interceptor struggled to race towards the edge of the gravitational wells, chased by the hounds of the Sith. I made it just as the laser cannons bracketed me in, just as they bore towards my engines. The ship became a worthless icon of a forgotten time, worth more in credits than anything else. I made it to some backwater of the Imperium, sold it to some desperate scum, and moved on with my life. What was left of it.

After Seoul, I scoured the galaxy, swore to make it burn. Swore to make the Sith pay, to slaughter them. All of them. You wouldn't know, you couldn't understand what it's like to have everything around you set ablaze, to crumble like a house of cards. Jaws clench and bite down in subdued rage as the memories return, imagining friends, comrades, and the fallen empire. I am known only as "Ishkur", my real name a memory that was not something that belonged in this universe. I, like my father, had died fighting the Sith.

After months of searching my soul, I, by chance, encountered a wealthy woman and her child beating a slave, announcing their stature. She seemed so pleased with the boy, and I could see the wickedness in him. He was destined towards a path of darkness. Towards the same path that had so destroyed me.

I abandoned the path of the Light that day, never again would I restrain myself from killing those that dare called the shadows their master. Renewed with purpose, I remember that moment. The skills I had as a Knight of the Empire returned, and I used them towards the deadly purpose of a predator stalking his prey. Stalk them towards their home, watch through darkened windows as they prepare for sleep. For hours I seemed to wait, patiently watching and biding my time, the perfect opportunity would not pass me by. Not this time. The Sith would know that I had not died.

The structure swarmed with ants, servants desperate to do their masters bidding. Black armored soldiers protected every entrance, a testament to the importance of the family on this wretched planet. Death was a fast approaching specter on the horizon, and as the guards began to change shifts, I took my chance. Igniting my silver blade once more for Empire, once more against the Dark I would fight. But now for murder, now for vengeance, now to ensure that never again would they find me wanting for valor, for courage, and for ferocity.

Moving quickly towards the first position, they made their best effort to stop me. The white blade severed their limbs and launched their scorched carcasses further into the first cloister. The rest came for me and I could hear the screams of the servants. They would die to. There would be no reprieve from this slaughter, the Light would never again be without an avenger. Everyone died.

And when I finally reached that whore, holding the bastard child born from her twisted **** in my hands, I felt a righteous rage fill me as I slowly burned a gash across his throat before her. She would live on with that horrible memory, the memory of her son lying there helplessly in the jaws of a wolf that would never stop hunting her kind.

Never again would I be weak. Never again would I give way for the darkness. Never again. Never.

Some stuffs not done, other stuff may likely be revised as the new IK are fully fleshed out, so consider this a work in progress. "Stats" are all relative. This character is something I've used elsewhere, namely it's my favorite persona to play as in RPG games. Just a flirtatious dick.

Stats are really just flavor. It's all about the writer and the circumstances, IMO.

Anyhow, short and sweet. I rather liked it. The hardened survivor archetype is very useful in this situation, and it's leavened with some personal foibles. I'd recommend perhaps some more thoughts, however crude, on his current situation, but I realize the character is more of a doer than a thinker.

Very good, and you are very very welcome to our faction. This guy will be great for wetworks.

Well, seems like a guy who you don't want to get on the bad side of.

I was trying to think of what else to add and just thought to myself "this is a guy that makes new shit happen, not dwells on what happened before" so talking more about his past would've been quirky. Especially given that the whole 'how we fled Bastion' bit was never fleshed out itself, it's hard to go more in depth into where the character was at that time; and between that and Seoul V I don't really see a lot else being important enough for an Imperial Knight to remember. The Seoul V I just assumed he took his starfighter and fled the gravity well. Not an impossible feat, I imagine, just very cowardly.

Agreed. As I said, he's more of a doer than a thinker.

Oh look! It's Leo's opposite. In almost every way but armor!

But in all honesty, cool profile. I like it.

Haha hold on let me flip the picture so we can continue to be opposites.

(edit: Since I do dislike having a direct parallel with another, the image has been changed; fairly sure Number-75 will still know what it is)

Added a rinky dink unassuming ship to be used as a personal transport/freighter. It's even more rinky dink than the Millenium Falcon, so that's saying something.

The Falcon at least had size! Your ship is tiny, and would get quite cramped me thinks! But nice character! I wonder who would win in a fight, him or Caris. Eh, maybe one day we will find out!

Hehe, yeah, the um... passenger amount and cargo space assume you can't use the rear view mirror. Gotta rely on the side mirrors. This thing is like a Space Pinto.

Rinky dink ships are the best. No one thinks much of them and we can come and go easily.

Three changes: Most notable, edited his background, also changed his ship to a generic starfighter, registered under the Sith Imperium (or perhaps the Corporate Sector Authority) as purchased through the civilian market. As well, added a stealth field generator, which inhibits long range detection but isn't of much use in close quarters (i.e. it refracts light, and as such the larger you are the more difficulty it has creating an adequate illusion)

If the stealth field generator is not permissible, do tell me. Changed the ship mostly because the retinue already has a pilot for a larger ship.

Does he belong to retinue yet? Cuz I think he'd be a perfect fit for The Wraiths O.o

Isn't Crack Shot a bit redundant when you already have Marksman maxed?
