Is fox hunting right or wrong?

B) Foxes tear up the country side, kill other creatures (Though it is the manner of how they kill them) and are a pest, which happens to look cute.

We saw a fox today, attacking our chicken run, and we chased it in the car, but we had to leave for the school bus.

I'm going Bow Hunting this year(illegally, though. Kelly, You can't do anything!) so I'll let ya know if I'm in it for the fun of shooting things or the actual part of being in tune with Nature while on the hunt. Running around with dogs and rifles while riding a horse isn't my idea of hunting. I'd rather do It the old Indian way(Blame it on the Souix, Cherokee, and Blackhawk in me).

Havent been Fox Hunting myself, but i usualy dont intend to kill certain animals unless i deem it necessary, mainly cause i find sadness in animal's deaths, more then i do human deaths unless i was close to them.

If there killing your chickens though, then put the little bastards down.

Indian Way? Everyone used to hunt and fight with bows (and other pre gunpowder weapons) Though I don't see the appeal of the bow since guns could shoot faster and more accurately since it doesn't arc as much. However, the challenge of lower accuracy and range might be more appealing if I were more skilled.

I say shoot the fox if it comes for your chickens, but if it hasn't attacked don't go on a pre-emptive strike...lol...I'm using war speak on foxes...how funny. Yes, I'm easily amused tonight..beware.

Yeah, we don't go and shoot dogs or other wild animals unless they attack a human or to keep population down. We have to remember that it is the fox instinct to kill and eat. We have that same instinct, but we choose to have someone else kill and buy the meat at the market. It's the same thing as what the fox does. If you try to eradicate them just because they are a pest, you break the balance. Every animal has a purpose in nature that they are to fulfill...even if it's just being meat. Plus, you can get a dog to keep the fox out of the henhouse...lol.

Why am I suddenly wanting to go watch The Fox and the Hound? lol
