Young Nola Rentallia was one of those engineers you wanted to be friends with. Why? Well, she wasn't old and cynical like some of the engineers. She wasn't as gripey, was a hard worker, and seemed passionate in her work. After having travelled a fair distance away from Corellia, she found that the experience was almost surreal, surrounded in a planet of lush jungle with a strong connection with nature if nothing else. It reminded her of her people in a sense, because she imagined this would be the kind of place they’d go to in order to sell their wild animals and other various rares, a relatively simple people based on what she heard. Entertainers, animal tamers, explorers. Taming and selling beasts of all kinds and sorts and travelling to regions such as Naboo or otherwise.

What was the fifteen year old fox doing today? Well, she was doing whatever it was she was asked mostly. Repairing the odd blaster or two wasn’t tough at all, nor modifying one slightly, and she had a lot of experience with the “technical stuff” when it came down to her background. The odd fighter that needed welding or needed some external patchwork? Easy. Her fusion cutter, welder, some bacta coolant, and some patience was enough to take her far. She felt her mind wander sometimes as she worked, sometimes felt as if this was where she firmly belonged. Felt her mind and clarity the strongest, if that made any sense. Probably didn't for the most part.

Still. Sometimes, she couldn’t believe that Jedi were real. She also wondered if it could be considered an honor working for them or not. Even a job as simple as hers. The jungle moon of Ajan Kloss made her wonder if the Jedi were not concerned in terms of their security. Not that it was much of her business. After all, it wasn’t as if they had a standing army. Nor did they have what she could consider in her opinion the most superb of defensive positions here on this island. It was true, landing would be harrowsome due to the dense overgrowths, as well as their overall hidden locations. However, why take the risk? Geeze. What a bother.

“If it were me...would get some nice droids to fill the place. Or some auto turret defenses. Hrm...get some solar collection panels if they’re looking to save a budget.” She murmurs aloud. Playing with the idea in her head, she imagined security police droids. Decent in their modeling, and while not as good as battle droids, were still enough to have some sense of security. Droids were supposed to assist and aid in the proceedings of daily life, and frankly, Nola loved them. She would have loved to get her hands on some B1s or even some of the B2 models from the Clone War era, though they might be borderline ancient at this point. Maybe she was just looking for an excuse to toy with some mechanics?

Still...wouldn’t have that been grand? Maybe. Bah, what did she know? She was just a fox girl that did her work, got paid, spent it on eating good food, and saving for her own life goals. Oh man...first payday was coming soon wasn't it? Huh...who would be paying her anyways? Darn.

It was around noon, maybe early afternoon, she wasn't entirely certain, but she was standing amidst one of the hangars of the temple, taking liberty to make a minor check on a fighter, see how it was working. The tap of her closed fist on it's side with two small knocks. What was the issue with this one again? Some sort of turbulence or something when flying? Maybe had something to do with the thruster? Well, she'd find out. Lest she get stopped for potentially pressing matters or more workload.

Brahe was also an engineer and mechanic, having grown up working on star fighters, swoop bikes, and speeders his entire life. But it was star fighters, specifically those of the TIE line, that had the most of his attention. The son of a wealthy corporate businessman, Brahe was lucky enough to grow up with his own little hangar bay just chock full of goodies, and it had enabled him a great deal of creativity and freedom.

It just so happened that Nola was knocking on the panel of one of Brahe's very own projects- a nearly operational TIE interceptor. Sliding out from underneath one of the solar collector panels while riding on one of those "seats" used to slide underneath fighter carriages, he raised an eyebrow and looked at Nola.

"Something I can help you with?" He said, curious as to why the fox girl was knocking on the panel with her fist in the first place.

Brahe sat up in the seat, the wheels shifting a bit as his center of gravity changed.

When confronted by a figure that she imagined must be a fellow tech enthusiast, but also probably a jedi, she had paused and turned towards him with a twitch of her ears as her tail swished from side to side once or twice before she looked towards the man. “Your project by chance?” She takes the liberty to firmly smile and gaze at the fellow with a bright hearted enthusiasm as she puts her hand along her chin, her index and thumb lightly rubbing against her soft textures. “It’s not bad work.” Though, she wasn’t exactly a fan of the imperial model of ships, she had found that there was some sleek appreciation to the TIE models. They were slim and looked flashy, though she didn’t think they were the best they could be.

“Eheh. Sorry about that.” Her ears flattened against her skull for a moment, and she’d proceed to straighten herself out. “My name is Nola Rentallia, and I’m a worker here, a mechanic by trade, and couldn’t help but notice a couple of things about the fighter.” That said, she would proceed to take the liberty to take the liberty to explain what kinds of things she noticed. As she took a gaze at the thing, she proceeded to note things even now as she spoke. This was the kind of stuff she lived for.

“For one, there’s a bit of what seems to be a bit of cooler damage for this thing. Would probably not be too noticeable at first glance, but I figure that it would cause the guns to overheat a bit faster than it should, and probably wouldn’t help the engine out too much if you use boost thrusters.” She would proceed to lightly take a little glance upward. “The aim reticle on this thing in my opinion could be better anyways...That, and I guess the engine might have a slight issue with the thing. Not too sure what it is yet though. Haven’t had time to mess around.” She lightly chuckles, her voice high pitched and almost nasal if one could imagine. She sounded almost child like as a result of it all.

“Anyhow! Sorry. Didn’t know it was yours. I suppose if needed, there’s always other things to be done. I handle repairs, modifications, droid reprogramming, simple stuff like that.” Making herself noted, and as a potential asset to the Jedi and the potential order, she proceeds to calmly rest her hands at her sides of her jumpsuit, seemingly just pleased with what she was doing. This kind of work was her favorite after all.
