Hi nobody here probably remembers me I signed upped in 2012 and was working on a character but life caught me off and I lost touch with the site but I have plans to become active member.
Also a quick question what is the largest size ship an individual can own?

Largest ship is a freighter, unless you own an indie which can own up to three Corvettes starting out. Indies arent being approved until after the time skip.

Well my intent was to create an indie so I'll have wait I suppose but I'll work on him/her regardless.
Also would the carrack light cruiser fit into the corvette category?

Edit: Also I believe the ship your talking about is a frigate which would be bigger than a Corvette and thus a no no. But dont quote me on that

The mistake was mine I misread your statement. Now after much research (wookieepedia is most definitely my friend) I found a freighter to suit my purposes. Which begs the question is there a limit on how much you can modify a ship?
The freighter is a TL-1800

Actually. Depending on Armaments and gear a character isn't completely limited in ship choice. I've had a number of characters with corvette sized ships that were armed down a few classes.

About modifications there's no real limit, but after a while you'd want to make a tech board submission to cover it.

Some independent factions, depending on the circumstances, can make a trade off (one light frigate instead of three corvettes). That, however, must be explained in detail in the faction write-up. The faction must also meet all other requirements. Otherwise, you have to work for it IC.
