Gemma had been awake for the last twenty hours or so prepping for her next mission. It was something that she didn't feel comfortable with, but she was aware that she needed to show her loyalty to the Cartel somehow and at some point. So this was her standing point. Currently, she sat in an uncomfortable chair in the middle of a rented hotel room. The first several hours were devoted to protecting the room and isolating her own signals within the deep seeds of the holo-net. The majority of the previous day was spent compiling networks into smaller versions of themselves. It was intensive, but Gemma was now sitting in the middle of a cramped hotel room only made smaller by the coiling snakes of cables and cooling fans placed around the room and strategically aimed to osculate and spread coolant throughout several large mainframe containers. She had successfully rebuilt the city's security system inside of a small hotel room.

Within the tiny room was somehow an entire reconstructed network of the surrounding city. Everything she would need for this mission without the requirements of gathering information and waiting for loading times. It was extremely efficient that even if there was a blackout, it wouldn't phase the mission. Generators hummed from the corner of the packed room. It was a fail safe; everything would run through the fake network first, if something didn't come up or her hacking didn't crack certain codes, the real network would not be notified. It would also make sure that once inside the real network that she would be permanently inside and never need to repeat some steps between hacks or programs. It was ingenious and Gemma was fairly proud of herself.

She huffed a deep sigh before her limbs reached in a cat-like stretch. Several sections popped with a satisfying tingle in her spine. She stood and walked over to the bathroom of the dingy room. She stopped before closing the door and scratched the back of her head for a second.

“Glitch, run encryption codes on everything within this room and tie it down to yourself before going dark. This is our time to shine for the Cartel so we will do our best. You should then refresh your mainframe by dumping all unneeded memory. Once refreshed, go to the candy store and reclaim all of our programs.”

“Yes, I will get right on that. If you are going for a shower I suggest you hurry, I will need assistance rebooting in ten minutes after I finish that list. We should also be expecting our company to be here shortly after that in order to begin this Hutt's ridiculous campaign.”

If she were caught on camera, which she made sure wasn't the case, she would be seen as a human who had lost their mind, finally snapped and started rambling to nobody as she was the only person within the cramped little hotel room, but across the room her datapad sat; blue LEDs glowing and flashing with the audio vocals of a male human the same age as Gemma herself.

“Glitch, what have I told you about getting lippy like that... I'll set you to speak Gungan-Basic if you don't cut it out. He gave us a job and we need the money. Besides, this is where I will prove to the Cartel that we are not to be pushed over. Now I am going to take this shower and you are going to run through everything I just mentioned without anymore lip. Understood?”

“Yes, Gemma, my apologies.”

The apology itself was a little sarcastic Gemma thought, but right now a Gungan-Basic speaking tool would be more of a hindrance than anything. Stupid Gungans. She closed the door behind her and began to draw the shower and flood the bathroom with warm steam.

Early. That was what Armand always was to these sorts of things. Why wait and rush? It would be easier to get a bearing on his crew and such, as well as the environment to be working in. Whether the Cartel prided exact schedules or not, the contractor would soon find out.

The hotel was found easy enough. Public enough to not be looked at closely, but small enough to not be high-profile. Walking in with a small wheely-suitcase behind him, Armand was a strange sight of stark white clothing with bright red accents that guided the eye to him. Those eyes would see two blades and a saber prominently and proudly adorning his belt.

The attendant gave him his room key, already paid off by Arok, he assumed. Maybe Cartel contracting had benefits. Walking into the elevator, he ascended to an odd middle floor and stepped off, locating the room with a bit of difficulty. Numbers hurt his head a little. Holding his card up to the door's reader, it made a noise to signal a disengaged lock.

Armand opened the door and stepped in, suitcase in tow. Mostly clothes and travel accessories...covering an assault rifle. Just in case.

The first thing he noticed was the large amount of computers. It was hard not to trip over wires. He had the utmost respect for people good with machines, since his own usage tended to lead to things breaking. Computers were evil.

There didn't seem to be anybody else in the room, though it felt crowded. He raised his voice slightly. "Hey, your contractor's here. Anybody home?" If there was no answer, he'd explore about, trying to figure out the operations and the surroundings.

He'd check cabinets for food and microphones, and drawers for silverware and weapons. With a shrug, he'd open his bag and remove a small overnight kit and open the door to the bathroom to get it out of the way.

Garret walked into the lobby of the hotel. Thankfully, it wasn't too crowded, just a mother sitting in the corner trying to shush two children simultaneously on her lap. The hotel seemed to be done up in the theme of deserts. The adobe walls blended well with the sand-colored floor. He walked up to the front desk, and started to ask,"I require a-" only to be cut off by the Twi'lek attendant. He spoke haltingly, as if he was scared of something, "J-J-Just a moment, sir. Let me get your room card."

Garret frowned at the curious behavior. The Cartel's work, perhaps? It was very new to him, working as part of a larger group. The man came back with his room card, and Garret accepted it without saying anything. He took a look at the room number, and went over to the stairs, a primitive way of getting around, sure; but much more efficient than waiting for an elevator. Garret took his time coming up, taking a look at the general layout of the hotel. When he got up to his floor, he stepped out of the stairwell. He walked down the hallway, and stopped in front of his door. He narrowed his eyes, and walked in.

And almost tripped over a large cord lying in front of the doorway. The whole entire room seemed to be like that, covered in some kind of electronic equipment or other. There was a man standing in the door to the bathroom, a rather stocky young man, who looked like he could handle himself with the swords and gun hanging from his belt. He turned around as Garret entered, one hand going to his belt instinctively. Garret narrowed his eyes,"Peace, friend. I'm on the same job as you."

Arok glided silently on his hoversled towards the offices he had rented for his small operation here on the planet. He wanted to have every inch of deniability and a foolproof alibi for this coming operation, and so instead of meeting the team inside their designated location in one of the more low profile - albeit modern and well managed - Hotels.

He watched as the garage doors inside the private parking bay whispered open, their well oiled gears, and the constantly maintained repulser technology causing the gate to rise silently and efficiently. He entered the garage and passed the specially modified speeder truck that was parked inside, clicked open the repulserlift that whisked him to the top floor of the big and blocky building.

As he entered the busy room he looked about him with satisfaction, and moved towards the big dais in the middle of the room, on which a modern and high tech looking Holographic transceiver rested. Turning it on, he accessed the commands list and with a flick of his wrist turned on the encryption software before he inputted the commlink frequency he had given Gemma earlier when he had briefed her on the mission and sent her early on to prepare for the teams arrival.

As the blue light flickered brightly into existence, it wavered for a few minutes before solidifying into a small view of the room inside, and the three figures located within. Arok raised his eyebrow as he saw what Gemma had turned the room into, and with a slight shake of his head at the Human's antics.

It seemed that everyone was in place, with Gemma sitting down surrounded with her toys and gadgets, and his retainer Armand unpacking, while the new player just walked in and stood at the door

Clearing his throat to catch their attention, Arok scrutinized all three of the operatives, looking into each person's eyes, as if he was gouging their potential. Finally he glanced once more around the room and proceeded to address them.

"<Greetings, you no doubt are all curious as to why I have asked you to arrive here. The Cartel has recently lost a shipment of glitterryl that belongs to the Anjiliac Kajidic. The entire haul has netted the Cartel a loss of over twenty million credits in one fell swoop. The Christophsis Police Department has not only managed to infiltrate our organization, but it has also managed to damage our reputation and credibility on the planet.>"

"<I have been directed by the Cartel to remedy the situation.>"

"<The plan that I have devised is a twist on a well known con, called the Three Card Monte. The basis of the con is misdirection, and stealth; where the mark is pulled into a focus on the object we wish him to find, while the real target is nowhere in sight. This is what we will be doing ->"

Arok's face disappeared, and instead the schematics for the police department as well as the city appeared, floating in the air. As Arok's disembodied voice continued to speak, the maps zoomed in and were manipulated as needed, showing and moving as Arok directed.
"<If you will see here, this is the floorplan schematic of the Police Department, courtesy of the Mayor's office, and his extremely useful public HoloNet file's. Our target is the holding cell for all the confiscated and discovered items that the Police have collected through the years from various successful operations. In there, aside from various weapons, armors, and other goodies lie the storage container that holds my spice. I want you to bring it to me, unharmed and unopened - in return you will be handsomely compensated as well as free to steal anything from the Police's storage cell.>"

The map now folded onto itself, and instead a map of the city appeared with three locations marked on it, their names blinking in red and connected by a glowing black line together, that led in the end to the police station.

"<This is the map of the sector that we need from the city, you can see three Banks that I have marked for your attention. They are all connected via electronic hardpoints and special fiber optics to the police station - in the case of a robbery or any situation that they would need official help, all they need to do is activate the signal and police forces will rush to the location.>"

Arok paused for a few seconds to let all this information sink in before he continued on once more "<Now here is what we will do. I have found the location of the control box that routes all the calls to the police, and I will need you to place a spike in it that will allow us control everything that goes through it. Once that is complete, we will assemble outside the police station, and activate the beacon sending out one call from the first Bank.>"

"<Once the police get organized and send forces to relieve the supposed robbery we wait a minute and activate the second beacon, this will send the Police forces into a shock and they will send out extra forces to this apparent double robbery. I am sure that this is unprecedented and something of this magnitude would shock them out of their everyday doldrums. THEN we activate the third beacon.>"

Arok chuckled evilly to himself at the thought, his deep bass voice echoing mechanically through the room before subsiding and he resumed his briefing "<This will send the Police force into a frenzy. Something this big will compel the department to send nearly all the forces to the Banks and the surrounding areas in order to quash and take down this triple bank robbery leaving the station itself lightly defended and an easy mark. This is where you come in - take down the guards who are left, break in to the storage cell and retrieve the drugs. That is your primary objective. If you can do more then that, and vandalize the place then I would be happy to pay you a little extra - although leave no overt ties to the Cartel. We cannot be officially implicated in this operation.>"

"<Do you understand everything?>"

Garret raised an eyebrow and frowned at the hologram. "An, interesting plan there, Your Opulence," giving the Hutt superior a bow, "However, I just have a small concern. What exactly happens when the police get to the banks? Won't they immediately figure out that it was a false alarm, and then rush back to the police station? Exactly how much time would we have before this happens?" Garret adds in hastily, "No offense, or anything, your Opulence."

((O.O.C – Sorry for the delay in post and for the short post, but there isn’t much for her to do yet.)

Gemma strolled out of her warm shower to some new people in the room. She wasn’t shocked as she expected people, but was still on guard as she hadn’t worked with these people before. She took her seat in front of the various computer screens as the holo-Arok appeared. She listened to everything he had to say and nodded in understanding.

“As this is going to be the central hub for this mission I will need to stay here for the first part. I need somebody to get me that box, then the fun can start. Once I have been able to hack into the system, or rather plug that box into this secondary system. I will be able to join you and give you another pair of hands to grab the loot. This should be easy, but only if the first part goes smoothly. As for the uniforms, I am a small if somebody sees one that fits. Please and thank you.”

She spun so that the image of Arok was behind her, not to be disrespectful but to talk to the people in the room; once she was done she turned back to face the computer and Arok again. One of the men behind her voiced a concern and before Arok could answer, Gemma turned around once again.

"That is going to be something I enjoy actually. I will hack the Bank's systems into believing that they are being robbed. Fake surveillance renderings so that the Bank will actually need to be searched as well as tampering records so it shows that they are missing funds. Once we are out and safe, I will reset the Banks back to the time before the quote unquote robbery."

Arok listened patiently as the two humans discussed his plan between them, debating the merits and flaws of his grand scheme. Normally Arok would have had anyone who thought to question his authority and leadership shot on the spot, but seeing as he wasn't physically there, and his own reputation as a great mastermind was at stake he knew that he had to act fast or the Cartel would send someone else to retrieve the lost merchandise. He looked on with appreciation as the newcomer at least had the presence of mind to properly address him in the right manner, and using the proper Hutt etiquette. It seemed there was some hope for him yet, and that already raised his standing in Arok's eyes, although he did question his plan…

Arok nodded at him slowly, indicating that no offense was taken. Listening to Gemma's reply he smiled and nodded pleased with her response and solution, he was growing more and more pleased with her performance, and with every mission that they completed together his estimation and respect for her rose higher - although she would never rise as high as a Hutt, she seemed to be the next best thing that could be found. She hadn't failed him yet, and he was going to make sure that it stayed that way - he didn't want to go to the bother of finding another competent - and for the present - trustworthy minion.

As the small inventor finished speaking Arok spoke up and looked at the only other silent member of the group "<In addition, the Banks themselves are at least a good three quarters of an hour away from the law enforcement's headquarters and our true target. So just getting there will take them time, and once they manage to figure out what's actually going on and realize that it was all a setup, it'll be far too late and we will be long gone.>". Just then 3D-4Z trundled up smartly to Arok and whispered something in his ear before slowly backing away; sighing with displeasure Arok turned back to Armand and motioned for him to come closer.

"<I have a special mission for you that requires your immediate attention, please board the next shuttle for Nar Shadda and meet my representative there for a quick debriefing; there is a shuttle waiting for you outside the Hotel as we speak and it will take you to the ship assigned to you.>" turning to the others he spoke up "I will be sending you someone else instead of Armand here, so don't worry about it. I will be available at all times through the special earpieces that Gemma will be giving out to you, and I will feed you information and directions as needed. They act as a powerful comlink/radio that will enable all of us to be in direct contact at all times, they are very valuable so be careful with them and don't lose them. Let me know when you're ready to move forward with the mission and we'll get started. Good luck, and I will see you again once we are all ready for the mission>"

The transmission of the hutt wavered slightly, her hand instinctively gliding over a couple buttons to strengthen the connection. With that out of the way, and Arok mentioning again the ear pieces, Gemma began to look around the desk. They were here somewhere. She pushed a coil of wires off a polished black box that hid in the darkness. She opened it from atop her lap and smiled ear to ear at her prizes. The earpieces were perfect, she took the first one out and attached it to her own ear before lifting the box so that the other people could take their earpieces.

“They should fit snugly into the ear canal, but do not force it in. If it feels a little loose, you have it in either backwards or upside down.”

She put aside the now empty box and began to run her hands over the nearby keyboards. Once of the small screens in the corner depicting code jumped to life with streams of various codes. With a loud click, Gemma pressed the enter button to begin the code. There was a loud de-boom of electrical energy before the quick thwip of it turning back on.

“That my friends is the mini-city your standing in coming. In about five minutes I will be ready, that should be enough time for you to get into positions. Oh, Arok, before you leave, this new person, you can trust them I am assuming, but please tell them to knock. Challenge line will be: Do you have the sweets. Response line will be: I only brought the Pixy Sticks.”

She winked at the false-Arok; she trusted Arok and his madness for Cartel know-how, but she didn't like plans changing suddenly like this. She spun in her chair again to face the men in the room, a bright devilish smile on her face.

“Geeze, this is why I like working the back end, I give a computer a command and it is done immediately. What are you waiting for?”

Garret shrugged and said, in response to Gemma, "Nothing, I suppose. I believe we can start immediately. Good to meet you all, by the way." He then shrugged and asked, When are we starting? Should we case the police station first? Do we have maps of the area?"

"Jaz I need you to come to this location for a op I have in mind..once you reach the location and knock on the door a challenge will be given...the answer is "I only brought the Pixy Sticks"" that is what the message on the soldier's communicator, and so the red haired man made his way from his current location making his way to the meeting point so he can learn what the op was about..and it seemed as though it was in a hotel, and ignoring anybody who might try to stop him and ask for the reason he was here

Once Jaz reached the location he simply knocked on the door and made sure everything was secured waiting for the challenge to be issued before he gave the passcode, of course he wasn't completely sure as to who was involved except for Arok who he had worked with once before

Arok looked on as Gemma handed out the earpieces to the members of the team, and then listened gravely to her explanations and her warning about the new member being a trustworthy player. He laughed to himself at that one, chuckling to himself at the irony of the word trust in the Hutt Cartel. In his world there was no such thing, only expedience and need. And as one of the more visible Hutts in the Cartel, Arok knew that he couldn't trust anyone as far as he could throw them, which wasn't that far if you looked at his bloated form, he grinned. And while he may "trust" Gemma and the others to do the job, with the proper incentives, of coure as well as their loyalty to the Cartel, he didn't trust them not to betray him at the earliest convenient opportunity if it was worth it for them, it was what he'd do himself after all. Just then a loud thud sounded from the door and with a knock Jaz's muffled voice came through the holographic projector, announcing his arrival and speaking the code word. Satisfied that everything was now going to plan he looked at Gemma "<Gemma, I would appreciate it if you would explain to Jaz, an Enforcer in the Cartel - and yes, he's trustworthy you will see - and he will be taking the place of Mister Dreth. I trust you will show him all the courtesy that an Enforcer deserves and help him get up to speed on the operation.>"

He looked at the man who as Arok quickly checked his Cartel file, was called Garret, and sized him up. A 30 yeard old'ish looking human male with gray hair betraying his age and looked to be fairly competent, with dark hazel eyes that showed a dangerous looking gaze. Although Aroks estimation of his intelligence dropped a few notches after the series of questions he had asked "<You may start wherever you wish, however the maps for the entire town are already at your disposable>'' Arok indicated the holographic map rotating slowly in midair "<and I have sent the relevant information to your personal datapads as we speak>". He looked back at the room and raked the agents with his gaze "<Let me know what you have decided and anything you might need and I will provide the necessary knowledge, any additional equipment you might need, and transportation of your choice. Good luck and don't fail me>"

Gemma nodded to Arok's holo-projection as he spoke with the man she had to walk passed to get to the door. She peeked through the small viewing port in the door but could only make out a tuft of red hair. She stayed there for a solid minute to make sure he wasn't going anywhere.

“Do you have the sweets?”

With the proper response line, Gemma unlocked the door and opened the door. This man's hair was brighter without the lens in the way somehow. She smirked with obvious appeal at this thought before attempting to guage the rest of the man. She let him in and walked back over to the counter to grab the spare earpiece for the newcomer.

“Goes in your ear if you couldn't figure it out... goes in one way only so don't force the damn thing or Arok will send his lame protocol droid to bore you to death.”

There was a quick grin shot back to the holo-projected Hutt even if he couldn't make it out. She caught the dumb question the grunt had and huffed in clear anoyance.

“Clearly, this is your first rodeo... I slice into things and I am damn good at it if you couldn't gather that by looking around the room. If you need intel I will feed it to you via the earpiece I just gave you, which is why its important to go in the correct way and you don't break it. I work from behind the scenes and will play lookout until we actually need my participation. By the way, for that to happen I need one of you to grab me a uniform. I fit a small, but medium will not be terrible.”

She glanced at the new guy again to hopefully convey to him that she wanted the information remembered. One grunt was enough, she didn't need two; she put too much effort into working this mission and rigging the hotel room together for one person to screw it up. Gemma walked back over to her seat and slumped into the chair with obvious fatigue.

“Arok, dear, before you leave us, can you send Shijo to the bank I indicate after he does whatever it was you needed him for again. Also, is the van settled outside like planned?”

She rolled her head back over the head of the chair in order to look back into the hotel room.

“Frack, can we get his thing going already? The longer we sit here the harder it will be to keep this room cooled. If I have to work this mission myself, somebody will not be walking properly for a week, and no that's not a sexual party favour either!”

In response to Gemma's statement that she required a uniform, Garret raised his hand and said, "I think I should be able to find you one. You want a police uniform, yeah?" When the female nodded, he continued, I think I could steal one off an officer, then; I should be able to capture one on a patrol. Can I store her here after I'm finished? She'll be properly restrained and everything, I'd like to get through this with as little loss of life as possible."

The others shrugged and nodded. "Well, in that case, then I might as well leave right now, right? I'll meet you back here in..." Garret looked at his watch, noting the time, "Three hours?" Gemma responded, "Sure, why not? Just keep it quick, all right?" Then, Garret opened the door, left the room, walked through the maze of hallways through the illustrious hotel, and stepped out into the street.

"I only brought the Pixy Sticks"Jaz spoke telling the voice behind the door the answer to the challenge, and as expected the door opened up revealing a woman standing at the door, who then proceeded to examine Jaz before letting him pass signally to him to pick up a ear piece, putting it in the ear correctly but not before noticing somebody leaving the room, heading off to somewhere...not that Jaz knew for all he knew the guy was given a task to do and he was off to do that.

"..."Unfortunally it seemed as though this prospect wasn't having a good time with another person..most likely the guy who had just left and didn't speak at all just stood there on attention like he was still in the GA military..one of a few quicks Jaz hadn't been able to shake off..but no matter Jaz would listen and wait for instructions, going as far as to sort out his equipment for the mission

"..."hearing Arok's name being mentioned caused Jaz to look up and take notice of the events, seeing that Gemma sounded like she had been deprived sleep for some time, smirking slightly when he heard what else she had to say

Yeah Jaz didn't really have much to say since he had only just arrived in the middle of what it seems to be preparations for the op

Arok watched the proceedings with interest, as an irate Gemma, who clearly needed to sleep lashed out at the new guy before threatening him with FourZee. Arok couldn't help it and burst out laughing, his rolling voice booming through the speakers and echoing through the room in a deep bass rumble that could be felt in each person's chest. He raised his eyebrow with surprise at her request for Shijo to make his way to a Bank of her indication but acquiesced with a nod "<It shall be done, and yes the van is waiting outside.>"

With the introductions and the briefing over, Arok turned off the Holoprojector and then made his way to the dining area in the grand Hotel that he had been using, and entered the giant dining Hall. He was delighted that immediately a whole host of staff swarmed him, no less then four waiters, a sommelier, the Chef himself and the manager of the Hotel greeted him with a smile and profuse compliments before escorting him to a private room that he had reserved earlier for his convenience. A lavish meal was waiting for him there, full of exotic foods, alien beverages and multitudes of courses that were unveiled with a grand flourish.

Arok clapped his hands with delight and after handing the manager a cred stick, with a particularly generous tip he made his way to the table and motioned for Shijo to attend him as he proceeded to wade his way through the seemingly infinite amount of food. Waving a drumstick at Shijo he slurped and slobbered as he spoke to him, alternating between sentences and giant bites "<My sources indicate that the control box that we will need is located in the basement of Sacuer Enterprises, where a local crime lord has bribed the building manager to let him run a small I.T crime gang who rob the various corporations and organizations on the planet electronically, thus minimizing the danger for themselves and netting them thousands in cashflow. Using that box of theirs they have hacked and and infiltrated a large amount of the city's prime targets, and have grown a little complacent in their security, believing themselves to be safe and secure in the basement.>"

Arok looked at Shijo with a wicked gleam to his eyes, "<I will need you to persuade them that they have been wrong to slack off their security arrangement, and if possible remind them that there is always a bigger fish to be had. Show them that working for me is a much smarter business plan then being independent. Take what you need and bring me back that box, the rest is a bonus>". Shijo nodded to Arok and then made his way out of the building.

Gathering a few thugs for hire, after promising them an extravagant pay, he ordered them to make their way to the building in question and start harassing the guards and personnel there. While the security teams mobilized to deal with small mob that was slowly building up - as the curious passerby's joined the chanting anti-corporation mob, that guided by the thugs in Shijo's employ soon riled up the crowd into a full blown riot - Shijo utilized the opportunity to sneak his way into the building and make his way towards the basement level.

As he made his way down the stairs he drew his hidden blaster pistol, and holding it in a double handed grip he proceeded to cautiously descend through the various levels of the large building. As he finally reached the lowest floor, he heard voices coming from inside the room as well as various mechanical hums that indicated different electronic devices were working. Looking around to make sure no one was coming down he popped out a stun grenade and without further ado kicked in the door.

The startled shouts of various sentients filled the largish room, as the broken door splintered into thousands of pieces and hurtled into the room and bowled over a surprised and shocked Nautolan. He immediately tossed in the grenade and then spun back out of the room, covering his ears with his hands and closing his eyes as the shockwave of the grenade blew past. Grinning happily to himself, he checked to make sure that the stun setting was activated and then stepped into the room, quickly going through the supine bodies of the various species inside and shooting those that seemed to be recovered. Opening up his backpack he then grabbed as much rope as he could and started tying up the slicers who were present and then arranged them in a little circle in the center of the room.

Smoking a deathstick nonchalantly, he then waited for the stunned and groggy group to wake up, propping his feet on top of some gizmo he then turned to the closest one and took out a sheet of flimsy ""Do you recognize this? I need you to tell me where it is". The terrified looking Gungan mutely pointed to a drawer that was lying upturned in a corner, and slowly getting up he made his way towards the drawer. Searching it quickly he soon found the object he was looking for, and smiling happily to himself he then turned to the group huddling below him and smiled nastily at them """Welcome to the Hutt Cartel, boys and girls. I am happy to inform you that you now work for us, understood?".

The terrified group just nodded mutely, as a few of the females started sobbing in fear. Making his way to the door, he looked at them and stopped just at the stairs "Oh, and by the way - this never happened. I'll contact you again when I will need your services once more". As he got into his speeder, he quickly sent a two word message "Package Acquired" and then sped off towards the Hotel.

Garret rubbed his temples as he walked along the nearly deserted side street. He had taken the assignment to steal a female police uniform mainly to get out of the room, and since he thought back then it would be a piece of cake. Unfortunately, he hadn't quite thought it through. Breaking into the actual police station was a bad idea, as they after all, would want to break in there later. A break-in, even a stealthy one, would be seen eventually, and the main plan for later would be ruined; as they police guard would be raised. It seemed that his only possible alternative was to somehow kidnap an active duty policewoman, and steal her uniform that way. The problem was, uniforms have to be a specific size, in this case, he required a petite one, and it had to fit a human.

He thought all this over as he walked in front of the police station. It was already the time when most businesses would change shifts. Garret had no idea when the police forces changed patrol shifts, but it made sense that it would be at this hour.

Essentially, his plan was to find a target coming out of the station to where the patrol speeders were parked. Then, he would follow that patrol car with his own speeder, until the (hopefully) lone occupant got out. Then, he would somehow get the drop on her, force her to surrender, and tie her up with his rather primitive plastic zip-ties he had purchased from the local specialty store earlier. Then he would stuff her into the storage unit of his speeder, and zoom off back to the hotel. That was the plan anyway.

He looked at his watch. Any moment now... The last of the patrol speeders, coming in from their shift that just ended, had came in about 15 minutes earlier. The new patrols should be coming out any... There! A tall, lanky human man walked out, crossed to his speeder, and lifted off. A Trandoshan then did the same. After a few other officers left the building in ones and twos, finally a suitable target walked out. She was rather short, a brunette, and dressed in the sleek, navy blue jumpsuit that all officers wore. It hugged her curves quite nicely, Garret thought.

He jogged over to where his speeder was parked on the side of the road, near a bustling cafe. He started it up, and when the police speeder slowly pulled out of the lot, Garret followed it. After about half-an-hour of driving around the nicer part of town, the speeder turned down a narrow side street, into one of the high crime areas. Here, the crowds were non-existent. Occasionally, people would look out of their broken windows to glare at the police speeder. Finally, they passed a little deserted side-alley which would do perfect for Garret. He parked the speeder on the side of the street, and walked in, ensuring that no one was passed out along the wall. He hid behind a large waste receptacle.

He called the local police department, and pretended to be a resident of this local area. "Hey, I was wonderin' if you could send down one of your officers to talk to one of the drunks here? He's really making a racket, and I'm having trouble concentrating, ya know? He's in the side alley off the street," Garret recited the name of the street he was on. The thin, female voice on the other side acknowledged, and said that they would send someone to check it out.

Garret's plan was that when the dispatcher ordered someone to check it out, the closest one would be the female officer, his target. If she didn't take the job, he could simply talk his way out, and try a different plan. For now, however, he was committed. He wrapped himself up in his cloak, and sat down on the ground; gripping his blaster hidden in his belt in his hand, ready to draw at a moment's notice. The other re-assuredly patted his pocket which contained zipties and a few rags.

He heard the sound of a speeder approaching his alley, and then stop as the engine was shut off. Then he heard footsteps walking towards him. Decidedly feminine footsteps, he decided; and breathed a word of thanks to whatever god was watching over him. From his position with his face buried in his knees, he heard a voice say, "Excuse me, sir, but I think you need to leave."

Garret gritted his teeth, it was now or never. He jumped to his feet, yanking out his blaster and pointing it in her direction in a well-practiced move; his other hand raised up in case she tried to make a grab for his gun. She never had a chance. One hand shot to her gun instinctively, and Garret barked out, "Don't move, don't speak. Put both your hands in the air, now!" She opened her mouth as if to say something, her attractive features contorting into one of shock and fear as her hands moved up to rest upon her head. She seemed to composer herself, and she raised her chin defiantly, "Whatever you're planning, you won't get away with it." Garret only smiled thinly, and grabbed her gun from where it sat in its holster, and slid it in his back pocket.

As she watched it go, her defiant features seemed to droop for a second, as her only means of controlling the situation left her. She gulped, and tried to speak, but Garret whirled her around and forced her against the far wall, moving her hands into the small of her back and crossing them. "Don't do this! I'm an officer of the law! This is kidnapping!" Garret ignored her pleas, and ziptied her wrists together. She winced as the plastic painfully tightened, and cried out. Garret whirled her around so they were face to face, and licked his lips. She recoiled and tried to move away, but he was much stronger than her, and he growled, "That's enough out of you."

Garret grabbed a towel from his pocket and gagged her securely, wrapping it around her mouth. She tried to scream now, but the sound was muffled and quiet. He repeated the process with her eyes, and blindfolded her. He span her back around and tied her elbows closer together, and then her ankles. He then put the struggling woman over his shoulders, walked the short distance to his own speeder, and put her in the storage unit.

He was able to drive back to the hotel, and bring up his captive to the room through the use of the maintenance ladders on the side of the building. She struggled, screamed, and kicked all the way, but it was futile. He entered the team's shared hotel room and dropped the officer on the bed. He then asked, "So, what'd I miss?"

There was no way of knowing for sure, but Gemma did sleep somewhat. She was awoken by the sounds of knocking glass; the idiot from before was now outside the hotel window that Gemma clearly didn’t recognize in her initial assessment of the room. She would have much rather a room without a window that somebody could see inside and question that amount of tech that flooded the room, but it was a factor she would have to roll with and just accepted it; at the back of her mind she could only fear that there would be a lot of acceptance in the near future with this idiot. She sauntered over still somewhat asleep and still very sleep deprived. Gemma’s hand knocked the window open and allowed the man through, it was then that she realized what he had with him; an unconscious woman. Instinct rushed through her mind as her eyes widened and a clean second of pure bewilderment crossed her face. She was about to freak out on this man for the second time in as many encounters. What was this man’s problem was he always this stupid? She was now a witness; yes ok a gagged and blindfolded witness, but a witness nonetheless. Without thinking she grabbed the woman who was slightly bigger than she was and used the building rage to drag the woman into the bathroom and lock the door behind. She had half a mind to lock both of them inside and call a higher-up cartel member, but the anger passed slowly.

“Why is she here? I asked for a uniform not a wench! What were you thinking?! And through the WINDOW?! Who knows who saw you! You realize the amount of tech in this room cannot just be picked up and moved right? Systems are in place, jackass, think!”

She was yelling at him, but had enough sense not to be loud enough to be heard from the bathroom in case the apparent hostage was somewhat conscious enough to remember voices. She stormed back over to her station where all the wiring, cables and monitors seemed to collide and ushered the idiot away from her baby; half of her urgency was the fear he may touch something and it would explode, she clearly couldn’t trust this guy with anything serious.

“What’d you miss?! Brains, when whomever upstairs was handing them out clearly, that’s what. Now, get out of here before your lack of brain cells sparks something over here. Now get out of here and get to your position and do your job properly!”

Gemma waited in an awkward, but clearly still enraged stance as she watched him leave. Alone in the room now, Gemma grabbed Glitch and sent out a voice scrambled message to Arok.

“Mission just got complicated. Keeping things short. Need sedatives on top the other package. Have your man pick them up on their return.”

She sent the message and knew that Arok wasn’t going to be pleased with the new information as well as her lack of typical warmth, but hoped that he would understand with the preface of the mission now having a complication. There was another wait of almost thirty minutes before Shijo sent Glitch a message of confirmation about the sedatives and the black box. She replied through text about the situation and informed him that she would need him upstairs to bring the black box as well as administer said sedatives. The message read:

Shijo,
When you get to the hotel, knock three times on the door, but do not say anything. We have a cop in the room because of a certain idiot that doesn’t have red hair and we need to do something about her. I need the uniform but not her, so you need to use the sedatives on her and then get rid of her somehow. I hate saying somehow all ominously, but I have a feeling which way you’re going to go given your occupation. Just make it quick.

Gemma

When Shijo arrived, he knocked on the door three times and Gemma moved to the door and peered through the viewport in the door before opening it. Without making a sound, Gemma motioned to the bathroom before closing the door and leaning over to press a button on Glitch’s screen to begin blaring some loud music in hopes of saving her the nightmare.

It was pandemonium when he noticed the man who had headed out of the room just when Jaz arrived, arriving through the window which Gemma in her sleep deprived state opened up for the man, only for the red head to see that he was carrying something...or rather pulling something through the window with him, and it was only then that he finally realised what the frak was going on..the idiot had just compromised their hideout by bringing the police woman into their room...and then it was only then that Gemma too realised what happened and literally blew up infront of them ranting cursing demanding that the man leaves and gets to his position and do his job properly

"..."it was completely clear that the event had made things difficult..or at the very least made one small cog of the mission become unstuck, turning to look at Gemma he then decided to go and find a much more...better way of getting the police uniforms and started to head out, pausing at the door glancing at the now fuming woman

"I'll go and find a much more.....better method of getting uniforms for our infiltration"Jaz spoke however he quickly moved out of the way to the side of the door when somebody knocked at the door three times, quietly pulling out his blaster pistol he waited to see what was going on, was it cops coming to the room to look for their missing comrade, however when Gemma opened the door and Shijo had stepped into the room he put the pistol back into the holster..however before he left the room he stood and waited incase Gemma might talk to Jaz about what he said about a better method of getting uniforms.
