Zonju V was a dustbowl wasteland of a planet. If not for the mines and the galactic casino, there would be little to no reason to come to this backwater. To Axe is was the closest thing to home he'd found sense leaving the service of the IAF. He'd landed here when is old ship The Armory broke down. The short stay ended up being a few months and signing on with a group of Vigilante lawmen calling themselves Rangers.

It didn't take long for the badge to lose it's appeal, soon enough the ranks shrank to nothing and it's hero's faded into the sunset. Leaving Axe to do what he did best. Break heads for money. Now here he was back on the backwater world fitting his new ship for repairs after taking it from his last bounty. The bounty hunter sat back in his folding chair with his feet up on a create of slugthrower ammo while he watched the repair droids. He was spending most of the bounty money on the new boat. It's former owner the Kel Dor had a few options he didn't care for, like the toxic gas life support system.

His much needed day turning into a week of rest and relaxation was interrupted by his loyal droid Six. The R6 unit was beeping and blurping away in droid speak as it charged down the loading ramp and toward the hunter's chair.

"The mission for Kessel is back on?....nice, wait what do you mean they're sending me another prospect?", Axe exclaimed then took another drink from his fruity alcohol concoction. "Ok Six lets get'er fueled and stocked Kessel is a long ways away and I'm not stopping this time....and that other hunter better be heading here cause I'm not making a detour"

Groaning as she pulled herself from her bed, Elora picked up the transceiver. "Hello?" she said in a voice where she didn't need to say just how annoyed she was at being woken. The man on the other end didn't seem like he cared, though, telling her that she was to meet another hunter for a bounty.

"But I just finished my hunt!" she growled. "Am I not allowed some time off?"

The phone sputtered, but it was clear that the man was still insisting that she go. She hung up, not waiting for him to continue. The bounty was on Kessel and she was to meet this other hunter on another planet so that they could get ready. Sighing, she got up and dressed. She clipped the slugthrower that she had liberated from her last bounty on her side before sliding her goggles down over her sensitive eyes and stepping out into the sun.

She hurried over to the pilot she had gotten to take her on her last bounty and managed to convince him to take her to Zonju V, where the other hunter was waiting. She hoped that the trip wouldn't take too long, but strapped herself into a seat in the back of the shuttle and got as comfortable as she could. At least she'd get a little more sleep before meeting this guy.

Axe continued to make the repairs and restock the YV-929 freighter. The other hunter was taking so long that the former commando managed to find a few items to reclaim for a good cause. His. At this point Axe had waited nearly a week for the woman. It would take the better part of another to get to the mining colony Kessel.

Finally his new ship was ready for it's first mission with the human bounty hunter at the helm. Axe looked to his droid. "Ready the ship Six, we're out of here in twelve hours with or without the new comer before the Rangers resurrect a cause"

Elora hurried off the ship, waving a quick goodbye to the pilot. She was beginning to enjoy his company, but she knew it wasn't to last. Soon she hoped to have a ship of her own so that she wouldn't have to deal with random pilots. Finally on the planet where she was to meet the other hunter, she hurried through the streets looking for him.

The ones who had sent her to this planet had only told her one name: Axe. And because of that, she went wandering through the streets asking around as if she were a lost girl looking for her daddy. And she hated every second of it. Grumbling to herself, she decided to go look in the hangars and hoped that this guy 'Axe' was there.

The human bounty hunter had just finished his breakfast in the tiny common room of the freighter. He had grown inpatient with the wait on the other hunter. Axe picket up the data pad to run threw his checklist, the window of opportunity slipped threw his hands once and the former commando would not allow it to happen again.

"Six get the ship ready, we'll...", he fell short of finishing his order to his trusted droid. The hunter's data pad started to flash a message. Axe still had a few contacts on the planet from his last stay. One of them, a shop keeper sent the bounty hunter a a holovid of a female asking around for him by name. With a few swipes of his finger the vid on life size as the put the image of the female into the ship's holoprojecter.

"Well she's here", Axe rolled his eyes before standing from the meager little table. Axe pulled his trusted pistol eyeing over the weapon before putting it back in it's holster. "Six warm it up, time for my first date". The human took his time walking down the ramp. As luck would have it the young female was looking around like a lost puppy just a few ships over. Axe slowly walking behind the girl. She had no clue she was being followed, she was amusing to look at. The commando could hardly help himself. Giving the girl a whistle.

Elora stiffened as she heard a whistle behind her. For a moment she debated continuing onward down the row of ships, but she decided to glance over her shoulder quickly. Behind her she saw a man, choosing to glare at him from behind her goggles.

"What do you want?" she asked, her voice an edge away from anger. She was not going to accept whistles or anything like it. She was not a Hutt slave anymore. She stopped herself after a moment, though, realizing that she had jumped to conclusions. Maybe this wasn't just some random onlooker. This could be the guy she was looking for.

"Lemme guess," she said, turning around. "You're Axe, aren't you?"

The bounty hunter gave the young female a once over with his eyes, she wasn't bad on the eyes. She was a bit of a loss though. To Axe she looked as if she'd just stepped off a shuttle of the Cartel ship yards. If she was the other hunter she was ill prepared to take on the Pyke family.

She was a bit testy, her first question gave the former soldier a little grin. Before he could reply however. The woman realized she very well could be looking at the man she was indeed looking for. The bounty hunter looked to both sides of him then turned behind to check as if to see if another man was behind him before turning back to the woman. "Oh me...yeah last time I checked I'm Axe. Try not showing it all over the wastes will you, and please tell me you have more gear then that old iron?"

"Nope," Elora said, "Is there a problem?"

She felt a little embarrassed for a moment, realizing that she probably looked inexperienced. It was true, of course, but she didn't want to make it obvious.

"I just finished a bounty and they didn't give me any time before telling me that I was to find you," she said, hoping it was enough to convince him she wasn't that new. The slugthrower that she had lifted from her last bounty was all she had, but hopefully it wasn't going to stay that way for long.
