Darmas acknowledged the new voice. "And, though I hate to say it, the ways things look the Sith are going to win this war. Putting a factory within Imperial space already will sooth the Sith into thinking that the Hive supports them, or at the least is indifferent towards either side. Though I'd like to help, Imperial watchers will be observing your setups, so I can't be involved during that. I will, however, be keeping an eye on it, and if needed I might be able to assist."

 

[Dokan]

Dovkan entered through a corridor of hallways, coming to one final door.
"Well Z, looks like its time to meet Qurag."
He passed through the door...

 

[Dóiteán]

Qurag felt both had a point. "I believe that what droids we can make should be able to defend the factory long enough for evacuations. We would use magnaguards, droidekas, and b2 battle droids to defend it. Though a full scale attack while overwhelm any force that is used."

Turning towards the newcomer, Qurag stated "Welcome Dovkan. It is good that you could make it"

Mule Kinray​

The tall Nemodian nodded before stating ''I would be willing to oversee the set-up operations of this new plant. I have prior experience in matters that could involve politics, I for one used to be on the Nemodian Council.''

He did a few calculations and said ''However, I must insist on Government Funds, otherwise it simply is not possible. I can speak to the Sith, and we can secure funds from them as well, in addition, I am sure my Government could add to the pot. As much as your little rebellion is a nice idea, the Hive cannot allow itself to allow sympathy to get in the way of business.'' He paused a moment before continuing ''I can arrange to have the Funds donated through my personal bank account, so they cannot be traced back to you, it is very simple. We must have the aid of the Tion Government for this, else we cannot do it!''

Finally Mule stated ''Due to the high security of the Factory, I would advise that we made it so as to specialize only in high quality 'elite' droids, that was we could justify the expense, and make a decent profit.''

 

[Dokan]

Dovkan bowed to Qurag, unsure of Geonosian customs, bowing seemed appropriate.
"It is great to finally meet you Qurag." Z emitted sounds aswell, to greet Qurag, in a sense.
"I am wondering what my first assignment shall be."

 

[Dóiteán]

Looking towards Dovkan, Qurag started "Currently there are no assignments. We will contact you when we have on."

Turning back towards Darmas, "We currently do not have funds to open a new factory. Though there might be better locations for a factory."

Qurag waited to hear what he had to say. The Hive could not be drawn into a conflict with the Sith. Their droid army was not large enough.

Mule Kinray

The Nemodian Director looked incredulous at his master, the arch-duke and walked up to him before saying with urgency ''Sir, this is a great opportunity! We need not come into conflict with the Sith at all!'' He looked surprised at his masters miscalculation before once again speaking ''With the financial aid of the Tions and the Sith Imperium we could easily afford the new station, providing services to both the Tions and Sith! We wouldn't even need to just provide droids, we could sell data-processing, and storage. Expansion at this stage is vital!''

The Nemodion looked imloringly at his Master, hoping fervently that he would see sense.

 

[Dóiteán]

Qurag chuckled at the Nemoidians boldness. "Expansion is good but we currently are working on refitting this station as a factory and changing the engines. Our current position does not allow expansion at the moment."

The Geonosian thought a factory built on Hypori might be good. His first priority was to have his ship fully operational and mobilized.

Darmas rubbed his chin before something came to him. "As I said, our mutual friend Mister Tamblyn has friends that may be able to make this move happen, and provide funds. Additionally, if its security you want and minimal risk from the Sith, there are locations in the Tion Cluster that would be suitable." Withdrawing a holo-projector from his datapad, Darmas pressed a few buttons on it, and set it down on the table as a three-dimensional hologram of a planet came into view. "One such of these you see here, Murkhana. Its a quaint little world, known for its soft, sandy beaches and not so much for its murky interior lands. The planet is unimportant enough that the Imperials don't even maintain an outpost on the world, so if you're looking to not draw attention and to get land cheap, then this is your best bet." He paused to see what the Geonosian would say.

 

[Dóiteán]

"I suggest speaking with our friend. And profit wise, there may be problems.", Qurag stated.

He watched Darmas, waiting to hear what the man had to say. The Geonosian was patient and willing to hear any proposals. He silent waited in his chair, hands crossed over his staff. The 2 droids seemed to be deactivated but were actually being still.

Mule Kinray​

The Nemodian took great effort in controlling himself before saying his next part.

He looked at Qurag pleadingly and said ''As your Director, I am STRONGLY advising against this! We can get the funding with great ease, if we make a highly niche station to add that little extra specialty. It would be simple, high specialized droids produced in the station, alongside specialized vessels. Secretly funded by the Tion's, and otherwise funded by the Sith Empire. I have a shuttle, I could prepare everything, and have work started within the month!''

He opened his hands imploringly ''This is our chance to expand, we may never get this chance again!''

Darmas smirked. "Not only will the Tion Coalition be a customer for the Hive, but this move will open up a whole new civilian market for your droids and starships. With the prospect of freedom on the horizon for citizens in the Tion Cluster, many are buying up weapons and bodyguard droids, if the Tion Coalition comes to free them and join their fight once the Sith have been vanquished." He really wanted the Hive to make the move into the Cluster. This would ease the pains of smuggling equipment across the Imperial-Alliance border, and would give them another ally in Imperial space.

 

[Dóiteán]

"We shall discuss this with our mutual friend. In the mean time, is there anything else on the agenda?"

Qurag attempted to at least pause the discussion until they could speak in a better setting and with a third person involved. The Geonosian would like a new factory but the Sith could be a problem. He also had more important things to use The Hive's profits on, the renovations of the ship. He wanted to be moving within the year. He looked at both Mule and Darmas to see what else needed to be said.

Mule Kinray​

Director Kinray tried to look understanding as he said ''I understand your concerns, you want this station operation I know. However, the second station could be run entirely separately of this one, different cash sheets, different bank accounts etc!" he nodded enthusiastically.

He then looked pointedly at Qurag and said ''With the greatest of respect sir, the affairs of THIS station are all your 'mutual friend' need worry about. This second station is an entirely separate endevour, for the sake of the safety of our investors.'' With that Mule gestured to Darmas.

''This is a great opportunity, I could have it started within the month!'' the Nemodian finished.

 

[Dokan]

Dovkan nodded, proceeding back to his ship.
"Well Z, it looks like were not needed yet."

 

[Dóiteán]

Qurag chuckled, the Nemoidian was persistent. Looking towards his Nemoidian Director, "Very well. Find the funds and draw up the schematics of a small factory and I will consider it."

He spoke in a tone that stated that that specific topic was closed for discussion. He waited patiently to hear whatever else they had to say. The Geonosian was not about to be quick with any decision until he weighed all options.

 

[Nor'baal]

Director Kinray bowed, and called over to Darmas. ''If you could come with me Sir, we can discuss this new station in Private?''

At the same time Director Kinray moved to his office, motioning for Darmas to follow him.

Nodding to the Neimoidian, Darmas followed him into the room, taking his holoprojector with him. Taking a seat in the chair in front of the Director's desk, Darmas leaned back as he listened to see what exactly the Director wanted to discuss.

 

[Nor'baal]

The Director took his seat at to opposite side of the table, and automatically sealed the doors to the room, before activating a privacy cloak around the room to prevent any eavesdropping. He clasped his hands together on the table in front of him and looked at Darmas before saying:

''As you are no doubt aware, Qurag will not support the station en-devour. However, I will. I have taken the liberty of registering a company name, you may have heard of it ''Hirivax Manufacturing'', and have secured a loan to purchase 3 vessels as well as a basic scaffold for the orbital station. I am willing to accept your investment, so that together we might work on this project. Further to that, I am confident that we can secure finance from other sources, as well as raise some myself through use of the operation transportation army of the Hirivax group that we shall be looking to expand first. The basic plan is this, expand transportation group, build space station, build ground station. In order for it to be fully operational, it would take, with a steady stream of funds, about 6 years.''

Mule paused, referring to his Data-pad ''You would be able to use our transportation Facilities before then, as well as make us of purchasing our goods at a reduced price as soon as you and we are able. This could be within the year.'' Mule look up at Darmas ''I think this en-devour could be a great one.''

Finally Mule tabbed into his Data-Pad, sending a message directly to Qurag:

Archduke,

I address you in my capacity as Director of Hirivax Manufacturing. I have at my disposal some transportation ships, which as per our hopeful friendship in the newly developing business world, I am willing to let out to you for the purpose of the shipping of goods and equipment your hive requires. I am sure we can come to a good arrangement between the both of us regarding price ranges.

Darmas nodded. "The Tion Coalition will be able to provide some funding, but we only have so much to give. If you can get the thing up and running, I can throw my credits into the tank."
