Hi I just created a character, but I don't know what do do next...

I'm new so I'd like some advice about what is said in the title. So yeah I created a character a while ago and I'm just confused about what to do after that. I've attempted to sign up for the Hutt Cartel, but for some reason it doesn't seem to let me... at least I think that's why my sign up isn't showing up. So yeah, if you know anything about this or if you have some advice, please let me know. Thanks!

That would the anti-spam stuff acting up. Your best bet is to contact an admin to get it restored. Lucid and Jiang are the ones who I've seen handle it the most, so I'd PM one of them.

If needed, you can probably just post on the signup again, there's no rule against it or anything.

Hn, it's probably not letting your post show up because it has a character link in it, and there is currently an anti-spam filter in place that prevents members under a certain post threshold from making posts with links or images in them. I think the post threshold for the filter is three posts, so you could try posting your application again or shooting Jiang? i think a message and he can un-moderate your orignial post in the thread. Alternatively, you might be able to message the Hutt FL (Insoulent) or AFL (Kayle the FAT BEAR) and they might be able to do it.

As for what you can do now that you have a character posted, there's a few different things. You don't have to wait for the Hutt aplication to be accepted before actually RP'ing, just have to wait to RP actual Hutt things. You could go find a thread in the story board labeled OPEN and see if your character would be fit to hop in, as the tag means it's free game to do whatevers. Some of them have simple guidelines posted in the original post, but other than that have at it. There are also ASK threads, and if you think your character could fit in well with one of those, you can shoot the OP a message and see if they'd let you hop in.
