Hey guys. My name is Brendan Love. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and am so excited to be a part of this. I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can answer, though. So I have role played on another site before (mafia in GTAV) and that site was much different than this one. So where do I go to create my character because I'm sort of overloaded with all of these threads. Also, where, once I make a character, do I start role playing at and how exactly does it work? (That might be too broad of a question so if you can't answer the last one than that's fine.) Thanks!!!

Hey Brandon, welcome to the website. There's a lot of things to do just as a general thing you'll want to read everything in this forum section. Literally everything. It'll help in the long run to prevent any confusion and problems you may encounter.

Rules and Guidelines

To create a character you'll have to follow the appropriate guidelines and submit it in the section linked below. Just so you know there's no real approval process for characters, you're generally considered approved unless someone takes issue with your profile. Do note that for faction based characters you may wish to speak to the leader of the specific faction a character is joining. Also, please be aware that we are in the middle of a timeline change at the moment so any character you may create right now wont live longer than a couple months.

As for starting. Its pretty simple. There's a few places you can create threads, largely the story forum for most things. The faction forums occasionally get used for training threads and whatnot related to that. You also have the OOC forums for organizing among people, and the diverse roleplay forum for if you wish to do something that's not starwars at some point in time.

Not Padme but I may be able to answer the question as she isn't here.

You have a couple options.

Firstly many stories have OOC threads associated. If you wanna join a story you can start there and see if anything is either in planning or currently running. From there you can post in a thread and simply ask. If you're interested in faction based things you can try their individual threads in more the main faction area's, (Sith, Hutt, etc) or in the indie faction sections.

Secondly you have the story forum itself. If you look at the threads in there you'll see they have 'Tags' just to the left of them. There are a few different types, the main ones are 'ASK', 'OPEN', and 'MAIN THREAD'. In the case of ask you literally just ring up the thread poster and ask him if you can join in. If its yes you're free to join. As for open ones, pretty much anyone can join within reason. Main Threads can be a bit trickier. Duels are a separate matter all together.

Finally, Just ask someone. Literally. Jump into their profile and send them a message asking if they want to do a thread with you, if you're in luck they'll say yes and you'll be in for a good time. If they can't for whatever reason, its not big deal, just try someone else.
