I think people sign up and request a Jedi to train them, and never get a response and also if they through the trainer is never active in the training threads. This problem is also present in the Mandos and Bendu.

Everyone in the Bendu currently has a master and is being trained and anyone who wants to be in the Bendu will be given a master and will be trained, so saying that people in the Bendu are not being trained is an absurd insinuation.

Hate to bump a thread, but just another note on the inactivity of the Council, which still isn't resolved.

Ember = Newest Council member = Last seen: 5 October. I would check the other Council members, but I don't even know who they are at the moment, aside from Bac, Cyril and the 'ole Grandmaster herself. Surely that and everything else already discussed is evidence enough to say a changeup in the Council is maybe a good idea?

Soo...the one active Master we had is now going to be less active. Come on, folks, we need you guys to make the hard decision and do some cutting. We need active members to run the faction, and we aren't seeing it. Hell, we aren't even seeing trace amounts of improvement, even. A lot of the Jedi stickies are way out of date, padawans remain untrained and if people are complaining about it - with decent evidence to support them, no less - then obviously there's a problem that needs to be fixed. And if you guys are debating it in the council section, let us know, so we don't think you're doing nothing.

I didn't know that, though I suspected as much, due to the whole, 'Bendu are suddenly crazy active' thing. Of course, that only makes the situation for the Jedi worse. I'm telling you, once the Sith stop infighting, if they start attacking for example Ossus, they Jedi would be helpless right now. We have few trained and active Jedi Masters, let alone Council members, a majority of Knights that don't do anything, and a load of Padawans that don't get trained.

Not a good fighting force, imo.

Funny though, how the grandmaster was blamed back then, but not now. Now it's the council's fault. Pretty pie.

Anyway, I do think there should be a change up, but like I said, no cutting people out of the faction, or promoting people who aren't even part of the damn faction, or are too inexperienced on this site.
I know that narrows it down to a very small group, but the alternative is to destroy the entire order, and start anew. You know what? Maybe that's not such a bad idea.

I'm saying the Council is inactive because it's true. Of course, i'm not blaming the state of the entire faction on them, by no means - they aren't the only inactive or barely active members.

I think that we're missing a real sense of communication, and I think the Bendu are the perfect example of this. As soon as Bac started being pro-active, organising missions, getting his character involved with the other members of the faction, they boomed. The Jedi section also is in serious need of a clean-up. We have too many sections, a lot of them useless, that could be removed without any qualms. A lot of the information in stickies is well out of date as well, and needs to be updated or deleted.
